What I read about were the people lining up outside the venue from yesterday morning. That’s over 24 hours without access to toilets. They’re using bottles and bags and privacy showers. That’s disgusting. And that’s New York City. Not Trump. My question is whether someone let him know that his people were suffering to wait for him.
Why would anyone waste his time by telling him about a problem he can’t fix; especially a problem that his supporters are handling for themselves?

No. I’m saying that before the venue opened, people in line were not allowed to go elsewhere to go to the bathroom. They were forced to stay in line and if they left they couldn’t return. So they HAD to stay in line. Without access to MSG bathrooms. That’s a game the city is playing on us.

I watched it happen, amazing.
I saw it personally, in 1995 and after for about 8 years, when my wife & I visited to NYC to see the musical -“How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” starring Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker at the Richard Rogers Theater on 46th Street just off Times Square. It was an excellent, very enjoyable show and a GREAT visit. We returned several times over the next 7 or 8 years to see several popular musicals – Showboat, Phantom of the Opera, Sweet Charity, 42nd Street.
Times Square at night was all lit up and LOADED with families, couples, and seniors, walking around and visiting shops and restaurants, without being bothered by any muggers or seedy characters. There was a policeman or private security guard every 50 ft (or so) on both sides of the area the entire length of Times Square.
We had previously heard about Giuliani’s cleanup and took a chance… According to what I heard (or read, can’t recall from 30 years ago) that Guliani worked deals with the peep show, sex shops, and seedy bar owners in Times Square: Move to 10th Ave or wherever nearby that area wherever we can find similar storefront space for you. Apparently enough of them did (I have a feeling Rudy made them “offers they could not refuse”…), the rest were shut down or moved elsewhere. Times Square then returned to being a relatively safe tourist mecca for at least a decade.
We *were* cautioned to not venture off the Square for more than 1/2 block in any direction, else police/ security would not be readily available.
But it was glorious, and reminded me of former visits to NYC/Times Square in the late ’50s and early ’60s when I visited there with my parents.

Wow, I just saw TWO Trump Vance flags on the fence around the entrance gate of an apartment complex almost as close as it can be on the campus of a Historically Black college.
This is significant because they weren’t vandalized and the polling location that’s at the college just blocks away voted just over 98% straight party vote (instead of voting for individual offices) as Democrat in 2016 and Hillary got just over 95% with some going to Stein and Johnson. Trump (1.34%) got less than the vote total for straight Republican vote (1.67%).
