In this interview Tucker Carlson talks with Mark Halprin, a well-connected journalist that Tucker Carlson cites as the epicenter of all political power and journalistic knowledge since the mid-1980’s. Accordingly, the magnanimous and enlightened Mark Halprin knows more about the institutions of electoral influence, political power structures, people and organizations of political influence than most journalists, so sayeth Carlson. And so, their discussion follows along.
If you are nostalgic for the time before you saw the strings on the political marionettes, and/or you like to remind yourself how you viewed politics in the era long before elections were decided by ballots instead of voters, you will enjoy this satiating conversation of how things used to be.
Both Halprin and Carlson pretend things are just like they were, while they apply 1998 political insight to the 2024 election year, and -for some reason- people discuss it.
However, if you have stopped pretending and you understand that modern political outcomes are determined by ballot systems, local ballot printing, fraudulent voter rolls to give the illusion of attribution to the locally printed ballots, and tabulation centers that conduct the necessary scanning of unattributed ballots to a number needed to generate the outcome, then this food-filled discussion about political sides between Halprin and Carlson ends up leaving you somewhat hungry.
Here’s an example. Within the interview Mark Halprin notes that Kamala Harris campaign has raised over a billion dollars, and that’s just the money from inside the campaign; there’s much more from “outside groups and interests.” With jaw-agape Carlson curiously asks where that money came from? Halprin replies, “I have no idea,” and they simply move along.
Yes, the conversation is about various subsets of voters, black men who don’t support Harris as much, and a multitude of other various popular narratives that surround the 2024 election as written in various media. Let me cut to the proverbial chase, none of that stuff matters.
Yes, along the same approach expressed by the Halprin’s and Carlson’s of the world, Barack Obama might be calling out the “brothers” who do not intend to vote for Kamala Harris. However, in the real world of 2024 a very non-pretending James Clyburn might just as well say, “yes they are, they just don’t know it.” Why, because Clyburn controls the ballots of “the brothers”; their voting intent is irrelevant.
Thus, we highlight once again the distinction between voters and ballots that seems intentionally lost amid a constructed interview between the very enlightened Halprin and the curiously incurious Carlson.
What exactly is the value of the conversation when the subject matter surrounding it is as useful to the 2024 election as vinyl records to modern rap music. You decide.
To answer the question about Kamala Harris’ extraordinary fundraising, let’s just revisit demonstrable history.
First, James Clyburn’s operation was constructed during the Obama era through the financing of something called the Pigford Settlement. Yes, Pigford-I was the payment mechanism behind taxpayer funds being shifted from govt to the very specifically black community. The Clyburn team, along with legal powerhouses like Morgan & Morgan, were part of the payment distribution architecture.
With the capital to start the mechanics of the AME ballot scanning operation now financed, along comes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, set up by Elizabeth Warren, to funnel fines and pressure payments from the USA banking and finance sector to a host of progressive networks, ie community organizing groups.
There you go. That’s the ‘elevator speech’ answer behind the odd “I don’t know” retort of Mark Halprin.
What was the intent of this interview? I have no idea. However, what they discuss seems like a conversation that might have been pertinent to elections many cycles ago, but not now.
In the modern era facilitated by the rise of Teh One Lightbringer of all political truth, what many might remember as our promised “fundamental change,” voters are irrelevant to the outcome.
That said, there are very serious efforts underway to apply tactical civics in this new battleground. In that contest based on reality we destroy local ballot printing operations, block the use of fraudulent voter rolls and find industrious ways to stop the secret scanning operations within the AME network of 17 county tabulation centers.
If tactical civics are successful, and we are about to discover that “if” answer, then the conversation that Halprin and Carlson are currently having might reapply in the next election. Just got done reading about the Georgia Judge ruling and all I can do is laugh at these two clowns who refuse to accept that we aren’t voting our way out of this. The repukes need a better strategy but too many uniparty underlings prevent that from happening.

Phantom Stranger, I noticed throughout the discussion, and determined “Halprin is a slick Dem operative…” IMO, I did not agree with Tucker’s description “Halperin has better political sources than anyone in media.” Proven to me as a result of Halperin’s response to several of Tucker’s comments/questions; they were vague and his feedback seemed soft-shell when answering Tucker’s questions.

I was with a friend last night, always gives Ozero compliments never one to Trump even though he sees what’s going on. People like that just can’t take that mental leap admitting they have been brainwashed.

Is there something off with Tucker? I’ve listened to some people who claim he’s CIA and/or trying to be fake being conservative and being cancelled so he has cover over some as yet unknown scandal.
I like his shows and have been listening to him quite a bit and haven’t noticed anything that bothers me yet, but these other people (the Conspiracy Pilled podcast) are quite concerned about him and even more so about Russell Brand in the same vein.
I don’t think there is anything especially “off” but I actually think that he is not all that bright and is easily manipulated by people much smarter than himself. He tries very hard to put on a concerned, contemplative face but often, in his interviews, it is clear that he is in WAY over his head and that is when that nervous laugh comes out. His need to be “liked” when he interviews powerful, controversial figures is also a definite downside and makes him far more of a fanboy than a journalist, IMHO!
JMO….am not on the Tucker bandwagon…never have been..but I occasionally listen and go from there…but…at the end of the day, he has powerful friends…..he signs his own paycheck now?…Business is in business to make money.
Tucker Carlson regularly laughs at things not even remotely funny. That bothers me. But then he isn’t speaking to or for me.
Tucker is very smart and if you dig up his shows from 10 or 15 years ago it is obvious. He can go toe to toe with world leaders on all sorts of topics. He has changed as of late from his previous style.

Some time ago I ceased to trust Carlson, and I have never trusted Halperin.
My sense tells me this conversation is to lay predicate for the late surge that somehow, seemingly impossibly, carries Harris to victory sometime by Inauguration Day 2025.

I’ve been listening to the Tucker Carlson Harmeet Dhillon interview a few times. Yes, the middle content about Kamala Harris is worth the listen and incredibly important as Harmeet feigns the “mockingbird” role; but I’ve also been listening to the information she provided about herself, Harmeet Dhillon and her history, her background and her credibility especially keeping in context her actions with the election steal in Arizona and Georgia, and her vying for the important position of head of the RNC, and the unusual closing of the first day of the RNC Convention in a Hindu prayer.
I especially found the last few minutes of their interview absolutely captivating where Dhillon drones on about how naïve Americans are about people of other ethnic and culture origins and how Tucker knows “millions of perfectly amazing Muslims” and Americans are simply ridiculous and foolish.
Well, cupcakes… it would be different if they were Catholics coming from Ireland or Spain. What makes all the difference in the world is that Muslims want to kill us and they have it listed as tenents in their religion to KILL US. They want to exterminate us and they want to take over our land and our wealth and completely erase our culture.
Now, there may be perfectly nice Muslims out there who do want to live at peace and have freedom to practice their faith without trampling the rights of someone else… and to them, I say awesome. However, when you have lunatics in your faith that make up an alarmingly strong majority… it is their responsibility to openly and aggressively stamp out the hatred of their “fringe”.

To be honest I can’t stand to look at Tucker with that innocent school boy look thing he does. That girlish giggle grates.
The truth is we have been subjected to brainwashing most of our lives but since we were happy and prosperous we didn’t pay much attention. Now that our government is at war with it’s own citizens we have no choice. DJT really opened our eyes to the scale of the problem. So now in my daily life I characterize people I know by which category they fir in: pretender or realist. It makes it easier to deal with them.
TC’s interview with Halperin makes me question/doubt TC to the extreme; Halperin’s family background is steeped in democrat, even commie, politics(Chip/block…principle); IIRC, his grandfather is mentioned, as a fellow traveler, in Whittaker Chambers’ book, WITNESS, and his dad was a politically ambidextrous deepstater, none of it good. To me Halperin is in the same class as Frank Luntz. As long as TC has been around D.C., in his own words, he should know who Mark Halperin is.
