This past Sunday, House Speaker Mike Johnson appeared on CBS Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan and the editing and manufacturing was done again before broadcast. Unbeknownst to CBS, Speaker Johnson’s staff were recording the interview from his side of the camera. Johnson released a series of video segments today (via Twitter) showing how CBS intentionally took out the important elements of his responses.
The segments are embedded below for review. You can see how CBS chose to edit the answers to cut out the important components and citations for Speaker Johnson’s responses. The manipulation is very clear. WATCH:

This alone is sufficient to demand that the FCC at least suspend CBS’ license until after the Electoral College vote on 1/6/25.
Propagandizing the American public was legalized. Who is to say that the DHS doesn’t have a contract with CBS (and others) to do this? In that sense everything would be above board and there is nothing to suspend them for.

The FCC does NOT license broadcast NETWORKS! But they DO license individual television stations. If you happen to live in one of the few areas where there is a locally owned CBS affiliate (or even a group of stations), get the name and address of the owner and raise hell with them! Money talks and those still NOT Owned and Operated by the network (O&Os) are keenly aware of their sliding revenues and profits!
What the FCC needs to do is go back to the good-old-days when each network (NBC, ABC and CBS) were allowed TWO station licenses (New York and Los Angeles). The rest of the affiliate stations were owned and operated by mostly local or regional people.

I have not owned a television set in more than twenty years. I do not miss it at all. Anytime I want to “watch video,” I select and purchase the show that I want to watch, whenever I want to watch it at my convenience. (Otherwise: my entire house is a library …)
I truly do not understand why the “broadcasting” model still exists today . . . we have the technology, and we have the bandwidth.
Same for me. have not watched a broadcast news program or related program since 1988. I went without a TV for most of that time. I have one now but I use it to watch DVD movies, occasional streamed movies and videos as well as frequent Rumble, X, and YOUTUBE presentations on health: Dr. Peter Rogers, Dr. John MacDougall, and such along with items recommended by Sundance, James Woods, and a few others (very few).
I agree with you. We have over 800 dvds and several of them are TV series. I buy all of mine used (Thrift Books, Half Price Books, etc) so no credit or $$ go to hollyweird or the media stations. The exceptions are from conservative websites that self produce.

Everyone who is being interviewed on MSM really needs to do this. It’s not just CBS. We should have learned from the Alex Jones interview a few years ago (where he recorded the interview and was able to show the manipulation) that we are never assured that media is broadcasting what was actually taped.

My first year in college I was majoring in Journalism and Broadcasting. There was a textbook that I studied like scripture. It said to always tell both sides and remain unbiased.
I wish I still had that textbook today. I think I sold it back to the bookstore. I truly miss it.

The instructor of one class gave me an F grade because I was the producer of news at the local TV station.
He was the temporary weatherman on that station. But at University, he worked to thwart everything I was doing. He hated me but I never really understood why at the time.
But, I supported him on the newscasts each night no matter what. I always gave him 3 minutes.

So if you know from the moment you first walk into the studio, before they even start rolling the cameras, that they are not going to Air what you actually said or the way that you actually said it… Why are you wasting your time with these people? Look at what President Trump is doing… He is going on all different types of interviews, not necessarily what’s going to be shown on TV. And, he is reaching a lot more diverse audiences!!! He is not resorting to drag queen rallies like the Hyena is doing. He is out being interviewed by and talking to all kinds of people! As Tucker Carlson said… They can censor what is said on TV, but they can’t censor anything live. Town Halls are great!
CBS wooed Catherine Herridge from Fox. Once she got to CBS they tried to manipulate her to tell her reports their way. She always did her due diligence on every story and CBS fired her for that.
