It has been a long time since we have had a good VP who gave any indication of being sharp enough to lead.

Saw the whole thing yesteday. He was great, Sage was great. JD interacted with audience, asking specifically what their biz was and its forming before answer a question. Just personable and sharp beyond belief. I guess the Bream show today at 2pm EDT is going to feature both JD, and the red-flanneled Marxist doughboy candidate.
As one who voted for him in 2022 in Ohio with conviction and confidence (although I had started in that campaign with disdain for him), he continues to exceed my expectations. Also a strong thumb’s up to Sage Steele for her outstanding moderation and contribution.
Although VDS (Vance Derangement Syndrome) appears to be on the wane, would also suggest, to those who remain skeptics, that they ask this question.
Is JD Vance materially aiding the quest for victory and providing reason for varied groups of voters to join the movement to save the country? Is he doing more than I am doing?

I think their experiences together dealing with the Globalists/ Deep State is most important at this Critical time in our History in order to Save US. JD has very good instincts. He’s smart and takes time with his answers. He made sure he had the questioner’s name correct in one case and asked what kind of business the person had in another case. That seems to be a given , but I think it shows his interest in individuals–attention to detail and such. He lifts this country up and praises the kind of people we are when he talks. What’s not to like! Go JD, Go Trump and bring this country back from the edge of the abyss. God willing, we will see miracles happen!

IMO, this is the best format for JD Vance. He gets to address topics chosen by members of the audience rather than gotcha questions about abortion, LGBTQIA+++, equity, and other Dimm talking points.
He connects well with members of the audience.
Although this town hall probably did not change any minds among the TDS/VDS adherents, the people who showed up should be better reassured that Vance is not a weird guy. It should be safe to vote for the Trump/Vance ticket.
The rallies and town halls are not for changing minds anyway. They are Get Out The Vote efforts. The more people are energized to vote Trump/Vance, the more who will vote in those down ballot races.

Vance also did an exemplary job of handling that she-clown from the NYTimes just prior. Can’t imagine Pence or Tim Scott or Rubio or Nimarata Randhawa or any other suggested Trump VP (save perhaps for a healthy Ben Carson, perhaps) doing _so_ many interviews and processing them all so well.

I’ve come to like Vance, because of the words he speaks. However, to every politician, we must apply Reagan’s “Trust, but verify” guidance, concerning the past U.S.S.R.. Thus far, Vance has passed the test in spades.
To those who are understandably concerned about Vance’s connects to Thiel, and other’s of that ilk, who are concerned he is or might become a traitorous Pence, I ask, what’s the comparison of Pence versus Vance that troubles you? Pence was a GOP machine politician and past governor. NOTHING Pence ever said, appeared genuine. You could put Kamala’s teleprompter in front of Pence, or vice versa, and you couldn’t much tell the difference. Certainly Pence bragged on his Christian faith, and Vance (as far as I’ve heard), much less. Pence and Vance are like apples and oranges, IMHO.
The “MAGA” movement (i.e. Constitutional, American first agenda) NEEDS a viable follow-on leader to the elder Trump. There are many who could vie for the Trump political inheritance, but Vance has embodied both the ideas, personal strength (i.e. both character and his poise), and future, more than any other that I can think of. I’m not crowning him as the next Trump, but the movement NEEDS, MUST HAVE, someone to pass that baton to right now. Trump could be gone one way or the other at any moment. I think Vance is demonstrating that he can pick up that baton and run with it.
However, the guarantee of freedom only lasts one generation. It’s on the Trump voters to continually vet the MAGA leaders, current and future, year in and year out into the future. There is no “political coasting” in a democratic republic. World communism never rests, never sleeps, and never quits, absent being forced to do so. So, yes “Trust, but verify!” GO J.D. VANCE!! We attended Pumpkinfest yesterday in Hollidaysburg, PA and were surprised to find no booths representing republicans. There were two democrat booths that were calling out to people to be registered to vote on the spot, and the people were very aggressive, actually stepping out in front of us as we were walking along, as they waved a brochure in our faces.
JD’s campaign speeches are OK, but standard.
It is media interviews and Q&A settings that are JD’s best venues. He shines there.
He has performed well in the Senate and supported, defended Trump there. Seems if he is stealth anti maga he would have worked behind the scenes to take Trump out there to prevent him from running again. He did not. At least I have seen no signs of it.
He has been stalwart. His efforts on behalf of East Palestine are fundamentally commendable.

There has arrived on the American political stage three raising stars drawing national attention to the new generation of leaders destin to make a meaningful difference in the battle for our Constitutional Republic: J.D. Vance, Bernie Moreno and Vivek Ramaswamy
Each of these leaders have achieved significant success , in business. Each has lived out their family and personal lives as husbands and fathers without a hint of scandal. They are bright, talented, ambitious and thoughtful men. Two of them are devout believing Catholics that have without question stood for pro life in Ohio. If you question that you are simply uninformed.Moreno especially fought the good fight with his money and time while issue One was blazing in the bucket state.
Long before they ever stood in the political spotlight the three were winners and doers. In point of fact, you can go back and trace their life stores from their teen years forward and you will find three young men starting out on the road of life as outstanding achievers.
Most noteworthy , and and important to consider is that all three of these leaders are Ohioans. Why? Because the recent political history of Ohio , it’s change from a post WWII purple state to a solid red state tells you something important about the people here and the heart of America.
I am a life long Ohioan and have been deeply involved in Ohio politics since I was a teen in the 1960’s. Without giving my curriculum vitae here, I will simply write that I have known Ohio politicians nobel and putrid going back to Jim Rhodes, John Glenn, George Voinovich, Mike DeWine ,Portman and others. As a businessman I have had clients all over this state, and as a major leader of the pro life movement for nine years here in Ohio I know most of the major leadership in every region of this state. In 2016 I went full in for MEGA and Donald Trump and I have worked tirelessly with my time and money for both JD in his Senate run and for Bernie in this race.
The people of Ohio have turned this state red for one reason. You can’t bullshit them. We are honest, hardworking, traditional, and fair. Ohioans in general know when they are being played. That is why the RINO’s in Ohio are dead. That is why Democrats other than Brown can’t win a state wide office in this state.
For all of you here that have doubts about JD Vance I assure you his Theil connections play a small part. If you don’t know him and have not been inn the ground game in Ohio you simply can’t understand his appeal.
Here is an example. In a six way race for his run for the Senate he blew out the well funded openers with deep RINO money. The six walked into a gathering of several hundred pro life folks to speak to the attendees. Questions from the floor followed. A straw pool was taken at the beginning of the meeting. JD was fifth out of six. A second straw poll was then taken at the conclusion. JD was number one. In less than two hours, he changed Ohioans minds with his transparent leadership, sharp answers and courage to stated what others would not. And no amount of dark money or advertising was involved. Ohioans know the real deal when they hear it.
Another point. Bernie was in a tight three way race in the Senate primary. Big RINO money was against him and he was running third. He worked harder and smarter than anyone else. In the end, he won a majority, crushing his opponents. If you know him you know why this was. He is now slightly ahead of Brown —having been teen points behind at one point and with the momentum of a state that has been Trump +8 and three weeks left he’s going to increase his lead.
In our history, Americans sent the Ohioans Grant, Hayes, Garfield, McKinnley, two Harrisons, Taft, and Harding to the Whitehouse. There is a reason for that.
In full agreement with you concerning JD, Vivek, and the urgent necessity of electing Moreno.
Have also maxed out contributions to Bernie both in the primary and the general contests. Have not heard him say a single thing with which I did not agree. His opponent, Sherrod Brown, is the exemplification of the problem of the DC elite. Brown has quite literally never had a job. He ran for office as he was graduating college, and held nothing but political office since. He is 71 years old.
Bernie is precisely the kind of man who we need to support and defend the MAGA worldview. Focused on that primary race with full attention early this year.
Would, however, comment that next time around in 2026, there is dire need to take out some RINO congressional trash, as far too much of that in the state – full specifics about that another time.
