Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was asked about a political narrative that media attempted to stir up because he ‘supposedly’ did not take a phone call from Kamala Harris. Apparently, Harris campaign mgr/operative Brian Fallon thought he could garner some political points by asking his media allies to push the story.

He is an awesome Governor in many ways. I wish he would fight his profession regarding the insurance industry in Florida. Farmers left last year because lawyers in Florida raped them fighting for overpayments to customers. Example: part of a fence around a tennis court needs to be replaced and lawyers demand the entire court be replaced. They win most of these. My brother-in-law is an adjuster who is dispatched to disaster areas and comes across this all the time in FL.
Wow did not know that…I also read many farmers sold their land due to the Green New Deal push for solar. They caved to the money since citrus and crop yields were no longer profitable. It’s all part of land grabbing strategies.
Now there are large tracts of solar fields throughout Central Fla. Wonder how they fared against H. Milton’s tornados?
I think the only answer in Florida is to have a state fund and go back to the basic homeowners policy which was fire, theft, lightning etc. people forget insurance is a business and not a charity. There are way too many storms and flooding. Heck I would hate to imagine how many vehicles in Florida have been under water. It is not a viable proposition any more. When you need to charge more premium than people can afford it is game over.
