UPDATE: My apologies for the prior update, too little sleep. Hurricane Milton 8:00am advisory. All interests in the Tampa area and South to Fort Myers/Naples should pay attention.
Today is the final day for any storm preparation. Conditions will deteriorate tonight as Milton approaches land. The exact location of impact is not yet defined. It looks like Sarasota Bradenton is in the bullseye. Information from the National Hurricane Center puts the predicted path at/near Tampa. Trust me, on this one a few miles will make all the difference.
At 800 AM EDT (1200 UTC), the eye of Hurricane Milton was located near latitude 25.0 North, longitude 84.8 West. Milton is moving toward the northeast near 16 mph (26 km/h). A northeastward motion is expected through tonight. A turn toward the east-northeast and east is expected on Thursday and Friday.
On the forecast track, the center of Milton will move across the eastern Gulf of Mexico today, make landfall along the west-central coast of Florida late tonight or early Thursday morning, and move off the east coast of Florida over the western Atlantic Ocean Thursday afternoon.
Maximum sustained winds are near 155 mph (250 km/h) with higher gusts. Milton is a category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Milton is expected to remain an extremely dangerous major hurricane when it reaches the west-central coast of Florida tonight.
Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles (45 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 125 miles (205 km). The minimum central pressure based on NOAA and Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter data is 915 mb (27.02 inches). (more)
High tide in Tampa (Hillsborough) is at 6:11am tomorrow Thursday. Unfortunately, a rising tide overnight can enhance the impact of storm surge. The total of the eyewall is currently 60 miles (30 miles from center). That’s an average buzzsaw in relative terms. This one is slightly smaller than Ian (’22) in size and but moving faster 16mph. Keep praying for this one to get torn apart by windshear.
Evacuations and final preparations should be rushed to completion. Everyone must be in their hunker down location by evening. .
A forward speed of 16 mph will hopefully maintain so that Milton moves fast and does not have the additional opportunity to build energy from the Gulf of Mexico. However, this is a very dangerous storm.
60-mile buzzsaw, 16 mph forward speed equals 4-hour duration for those with direct impact. The storm surge (southern quadrant) will last approximately 2 additional hours to apex.
If you have ever heard the roof getting shredded (shingles ripping upward), you know the sound of bowling balls atop your house. This is what should be expected for those who encounter the eyewall for any significant amount of time.
CTH will have more information as updates come available. Coastal residents from Tampa south should have moved or are in the process of moving to areas without the worry of storm surge.
There is a lot of stress amid the population. Remember to breathe, pray, calm yourself and think positively about events. Focus on what you can do and stay calm amid crises. It will be okay.
Keep praying for Milton to encounter significant upper-level winds from the North which can hamper its ability to strengthen.

Godspeed to you SD and all who may be affected

When rebuilding…I hope that cabinet shop gets a lot of business!
👍🎯💕
I loved it…made me chuckle this AM. I hope they rebuild and get a lot of business, too.
Love American citizens and their wit, even in the eye of a storm.
That’s what makes America Great! That is what got me through my S.E. Asia tour of duty.
Afterward for we in Fl.
My Ukrainian version of Babbel just arrived yesterday!!
So fitting, Florida–Ukraine is a version of Babel!

Sad, because it’s true.
We are all concerned for everyone’s safety. However whoever may be staying home in Florida take time to prepare for the after math. Point being the time you may be without power. Look for those old magazines and a good book. Of course a a good flashlight. Time slows down when the electricity is shut down. If you do not have patio furniture grab a chair or even a old pillow and you can sit outside and read. This I know is not the top priority of things to be concerned with. Safety first and getting through the hurricane is. Prayers to all.
Thanks,
In reality what we do is assess and secure our immediate area then we spread out helping others that need help eventually clearing the area as to allow access to that area.
We are the first responders during these times.
You may be the only responders if NC and GA are any indication.
This storm has materialized and progressed unnaturally fast; it’s almost as if geoengineering is not just a theory. I wouldn’t put it past the devils in power to manipulate a storm to cause extensive destruction and then allow them to respond better than they did in NC to say to their media friends, “See, see, we can do it!”
Another thing that happens is, if you have an extra generator, cords, tools, and knowledge of small engines you can’t believe just how popular you are for a time.
In 2004 season loaned a generator to some one got a call a couple hrs later that it quit running and I needed to get there a fix it.
When I got there it had run out of gas, was asked if I brought some, loaded up the unit and have never talked to them again.
Bless you. At that point, I might have taken it home to “fix it.”
That’s what loaded up the unit meant.
Talk about being ungrateful….I wouldn’t have spoken to them again either.
I can believe how popular you would become; my wife’s friends are all stunned and amazed that I do my own drywall, plumbing, remodeling, door installations, car repairs, etc.
They always ask how I know how to do such things and if I did construction; she just says no. He just does it, and now that there’s an internet, if he doesn’t know something 100%, he watches a video or two and gets to it. He’s just good with tools.
Stay safe and my thoughts and prayers are with you and the others in Florida.
My husband does the same, watches instructions online if he’s not sure. Changes his own oil at 80. I am his assistant. 😉 Praying for Florida! I have a friend in Palm Harbor.
If it’s any consolation, it’s knowing people like you are out there that keeps me going!
Many people with those generators have not started them in a year and will be in a pickle when they do not start because of bad leftover fuel and clogged carburetors. In NC I had to fix 3 generators for people because of the old gas left in them for months. People in this situation should not try to start the generator until they drain out the old gas and put in fresh gas. Starting fluid in air filter with new gas usually will start the generator that has been sitting for a few months without running.
Exactly, have started both big generators, the Kubota, and chainsaw. Don’t use the gas saw much anymore as have switched to 80v Kobalt chainsaw and lawn equipment, all batteries are charged.
Looks like we are going to be spared here on east coast.
The ranch in Ft Meade not so much, will know more in a day or so.
Only I don’t think the devils in power will respond any better because Florida is a Republican stronghold. Remember FJB said he would take Florida in the election?
Look on the bright side: it’s harder to fly illegals into FL during a hurricane!
They will just fly them into Texas as they have been doing.
Is the next week hurricane hit Texas??? Just asking for a friend.
We are approaching the twilight of the hurricane season, no? The ending seems to be the fiercest!
Thank you for the much needed chuckle!
Oh.. they won’t lose any sleep what we think of their response at all. With only one month to the most pivotal election in our lifetime, they will most certainly maximize the destruction to displace as many Trump voters as possible. Any relief will have to come from our fellow patriots, not this commie gubmint.
Yes the priority is clearing the area. It could be a day or days before electricity comes back on. How ever I did see a video of many electric parked on stand by.
Thanks
My overall experience of hurricane aftermath has been the same. I wish everyone in Milton’s path the very best!
Make sure you have bug spray as the mosquitos are still bad down here. Good news is that it is in the 80’s and not high 90’s.
my hurricane box always included mosquito repellent, plus tools, scissors, gloves, stapler, plastic, etc. You not only need to eat and drink, but you need to fix things so they are secure from the weather.
Don’t forget the hand can opener. During Ivan I needed that more than anything.Plus a landmine phone keep it if you have an outlet
And a good CAN OPENER!
Excellent advice, Aggie. I keep a P38 on my keychain – great tool.
Old school. That and some hundred mile an hour tape. Indispensable.
😂😂😂 my husband and his crew once closed the ramp of a Navy C-130 with hundred mile an hour tape. They flew it halfway across the Pacific Ocean to home to get it fixed there. He swears by that tape!!
God bless everyone in Florida! Praying for you all!!
Didn’t see your comment…but yuh crucial
I have family in Tampa.
They did not/could not leave. Supposedly going to a high school later today for shelter.
I’ve never been to Tampa……is there really a high school around there that can provide safety from this?
I have family in Orlando too.
I’m stressed about this….
I have been listening to WFTV9. Orlando news station giving all day weather reports and information needed. If you do not hear tuned in when the mention the shelters available, you may be able to pull up their website for the needed information.
RE: RADIO
I realize y’all drastically busy this morning, but if you have time please reply with call letters of your favorite LOCAL radio station(s).
Then I’m gonna check and see if any are available on YouTube 24/7 LIVE.
Thanks much!
Stay SAFE.
Be well.
Take good care of you and yours.
This too shall pass.nd hopefully quickly with injuries to none!

Get the WINK 11 web feed in Ft. Myers. Stay off the weather channel et al. STORM PORN to the max.
They have been looping content since last night.
They fully subscribe to the “if it bleeds, it leads” adage. Here in the Jacksonville area our local channel 4 does a great job without oversensationalizing.
WINK is tilted communist (out of Naples). Just my honest opinion.
I stopped watching the storm porn at the weather channel after Katrina. Never tuned them again.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, to change the things I can, and the wisdom to now the difference.
I have three mottos: sheeet happens, deal with it and God will provide.
Prayers needed for my husband’s aunt in St. Petersburg… we have no family in the state anymore to get to her and she is refusing to go to a shelter. She is an elderly walking disabled woman. Private and reclusive, we found out she’d broken her leg and is in a cast just yesterday.
Can you intervene with a call to the Department of Aging or whatever org looks after the elderly?
She did not make a good decision…or maybe couldn’t? Are there neighbors that she has, to help?
If she is in a cast and is disabled at this point…do whatever you can to get her to safety…Is she in a mandatory evacuation zone?
Call 911 while help is still available? A wellness check? A local fire department?
Praying hard!
There should be some phone number for the State of Florida who could assist you in finding the number for the specific department that deals with vulnerable adults and/or senior citizens.
However, most I presume that most state offices would at this time be closed so that employees could evacuate.
As mentioned below, try calling the local sheriff and if that doesn’t work call the police department and ask them who you should call to have check in on her in person.
They might give you a non-emergency police phone number to call, but hang in there.
Have you tried doing a search online for Florida State departments?
One other option too…. If you can get a hold of the local Salvation Army, they would have enough volunteers and experience to assist. But it’s very late. Landfall is approaching.
Local counties have special needs registries to assist disabled people during evacuations to shelters.
This breaks my heart, GGG …
Just a thought here … could you call a sheriff or some emergency staff to go and convince her to leave?
Some elderly people cannot make good decisions and need help.
(I know about this.)
🙏🏻🙏🏻
She is doing what she thinks is right for her. As hard as it is to see, she is a free woman. She is counting on God to take care of her. I believe He will keep his angels watch over her. I know people just like her and I respect their decision. Release her to the Father and His mighty band of angels. I hope you are able to have peace in this situation. prayers for you and your aunt.
Yes, the schools destinated as a shelter in Tampa are built to Florida’s high hurricane standards and not in flood zones.
That does not mean that it will be a pleasant experience but they should be safe from the storm.
Praying…Godspeed for your family.
Indeed, this is an actual thing. Some schools are used as temporary shelters. Likely the newer ones are built more recently and with Florida weather in mind.
A lot of newer schools in Central Florida are built cheaply, especially the elementary schools. They look like portables connected with awning over a sidewalk for hallways. They aren’t built like the brick schools up north. There are nice schools down here, but not all can be shelters.
Greg, Several days ago, I heard this news site is giving free access to Milton info.
It may be of some help?
Praying right now for your family!
https://www.tampabay.com/hurricane/2024/10/09/hurricane-milton-live-updates-forecast-today-tampa-bay-hillsborough-pinellas-pasco/
Long time Tampa resident here. Yes, there are several high schools and middle schools serving as evacuation shelters in Tampa.
Lots of the schools in every county are open. They also have arenas in the 30-40 thousand sq feet open. This morning they are not full. About 75% are pet friendly as long as they are crated.
The roads out of Tampa Ft Myers were absolutely clogged last night. The road just north of me that crosses the state to PBCounty was steady busy for the last two days…not now. Those that bugged out are out. The stores were normal yesterday morning as far as I could see.
Emergency Evacuation Shelters | Hillsborough County, FL (hcfl.gov)
Greg, I grew up in Tampa and now live about an hour east.
Not all of Tampa is in an evacuation zone. Many areas are not subject to a potential storm surge. Emergency shelters are selected for their structural soundness and relative higher elevation. Same story for Orlando, which doesn’t typically have to worry about flooding (except for homes on a river).
Praying for you to have a bit of stress relief and for your family’s safety. Try to keep in touch with them if you can to reassure yourself they are okay.
Let us know if you need more information and we’ll try to help.
This helps, thank you!
And thank you to all who responded!
Reminds me of Ian (2022), track and intensity, only just a bit closer to me this time. I hope it doesn’t sit and scour the coast for as long as Ian did, nor take as long to cross the state. Ian was the scariest storm I’ve been in since I moved here in ’19. Prayers for everyone in the path.
We “should be alright” if you are parallel with me you are in Eustis, IIRC?
Eustis is the Big City we go do our shopping in. 😀 30 minutes away.
Don’t mess with the 352!
Ian is the best comparison. This one will haul wind real fast across the state. Tracked just north of me. 113 mph max here from the south.
You should have seen the young Slash Pines going 90 degrees. They didn’t straighten out for 3 months.
Those who have well water won’t be able to flush their toilets unless they have a 220 volt generator.
What you can do is fill the bathtub with water before the power goes down. Have a bucket handy to dip water from the tub and pour it into the toilet bowel. It will flush with about a gallon of water.
We lost power and water for ten days. Had a camping toilet and pine pellets. Never had to use our precious water stores to flush toilets.
Either way, fill the tubs and have the purification tabs at the handy.
Great advice to fill the bathtub. Also fill up buckets and pots for cooking while you still can.

Very nice hotel, especially if you’re getting comped or are on expenses. These responders will be so busy in a couple days that they’ll appreciate the courtesy after they return home.
This quiet generosity is something he has done his whole life. No fanfare, no self promotion. Just as the Bible instructs. Goo bless him and God keep His protective hand over all in the crosshairs of this terrible storm 🙏🏻
Bets,
You won’t see a word of this on enemedia. Such a generous family the Trumps are.
One thing we can do to counter the left is to post and re-post these things, often and repeatedly, anywhere we can.
The stories which have been told by those on the receiving end are legion, Corny. He truly is a great man.
Bets
Will always love, respect, appreciate, and admire President Trump for his willingness to give up the cushy retirement he earned to save the country he loves. And, to withstand the slings, arrows, attacks, smears etc for us all. I will always owe him a debt of gratitude.
Reminds me of the time PDJT sent a jet plane to bring home our stranded soldiers in the middle east.
Of course it seems to be scrubbed from google.
Throughout DJT’s life, there are too many generous incidents to recount.
He has always quietly extended a helping hand to so many people!
I was aware of this decades before I really gave a rat’s patootie about him one way or another.
This behavior is anathema to the self-serving blob.
He gives and builds.
They take and destroy.
I know which America I want to live in. MAGA
Beautifully put, Lorrie. The giving/caring nature of President Trump is lifelong
^^ This is the way. A shower and closing your eyes for a bit can be heaven.
Workboots gracing marble floors. Gotta love it!
And any mud left behind will be viewed as sacred ground. No sarc.
Why am I not surprised!!!

@ShadowofEzra posted on X:
“Tampa, Florida is set to become one of the next “15-minute cities” under the ambitious M.O.V.E.S. plan—Mobility, Opportunity, Vision, Equity, and Safety.
“This billion-dollar project is a collaboration between Bill Gates and Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik, with 40 acres already secured for a major transformation of Water Street in downtown Tampa. “
Here is a glowing article on Florida’s newest sensation, the. 15 minute city: https://www.thesunshinestateco.com/the-rise-of-tampa-s-newest-sensation-the-15-minute-city-walkability-health-mixed-use
That’s deeply disturbing.
We must pray that the US military removes ALL the Evil Ones and all the Evil Doers from our midst, permanently.
Let us pray for God’s intervention and deliverance. Let God be Glorified.
Satan never sleeps.
Somebody should take a look at the “Live Where You Work Act” that ron! signed into law not very long ago and tell me if you see the WEF strings..
There are lots of these throughout the country and that is fine IF done with private capital.
It’s when the devil* gets involved that it goes sideways.
*gvt and do gooders.
“Private capital”, do you mean like Bill Gates?
This Tampa/15 minute city is private capital, and it is evil.
Bill Gates and his depopulation, eugenics, genetic modification, weather tampering patents, agendas are all done with his private capital. Doesn’t make any of them less evil.
Certainly not.
I’m thinking of the PUDs that have homes, golf cart trails, shopping, etc.
So like the Del Webb communities (those are what I see out west). I understand that now. I don’t actually know if those are good and evil. They look inviting though.
The problem is )or I guess the truth is, “my problem”) there are evil guys like Gates, getting into all this stuff (see above) on the sly and through their investment groups, and many people are none the wiser.
They lock us into our little 15 minutes of “lovely living” gates, and boom, there we are, sheep to the slaughter.
Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge;”
There are so many bad shepherds leading people today. They don’t see the evil. They don’t recognize the devil.
It’s really all about good versus evil and our ability to discern it. Private capital isn’t necessarily good.
“With intentional design focused on health…”
Codespeak for “you are on your own.”
I missed the part where Water Street is termed hurricane/surge safe – but they have solar for that!
There’s also the matter of who your fellow cellmates turn out to be.
Right after Ian, they promoting Fort Myers to become a 15 minute city and of course, practicing complete mental clarity, a huge ferris wheel on the south end of the bridge.
Saw they took down the clock tower on Fort Myers Beach this time ’round for safe keeping.
Sundance, your excerpt in italics is about hurricane Leslie.
Praying for you and all souls in Milton’s path.

Prayers up for mid-Florida today, both coast.
The last years of their lives my Dad and Stepmom lived in Bradenton what a beautiful area, but immediately get out of there all of those Barrier Islands, Bays will be swamped.
My Mom and Stepdad lived in Miami and when Andrew hit they couldn’t get out. They had a good friend who lived in a skyrise on Biscayne Blvd and these old people hunkered down in her shower, thankfully for them it came in at Homestead. While Andrew was making landfall the whole bldg. was shaking, though Homestead was about 30-40 miles away the power is awesome. If Andrew wobbled north it would have been much worse.
I went down not long after Andrew to check on Mom and got to see where Andrew “flattened” Homestead, it was both awesome and terrifying.
Get out of the way of this storm.
May God watch and keep the good people in this area.
Hurricane Andrew was catastrophic. Thanks for sharing your firsthand account.
There are few things that will make you lose your breath, the sight of that destruction of Andrew was terrible indeed.
Neither me or my two brothers followed up as we had assurances from John (Stepdad) they were getting out of Miami 72-48 + hrs in advance and unbeknownst to us and for whatever reason couldn’t get out in that 72-48hr window and tried to get out with a 24 hr window and they couldn’t even get on the Turnpike.
One of my brothers checked with our Grandmother in South GA and no Mom and John. We then began to worry and didn’t hear a thing until they called from Myrna’s condo where they hunkered down. This could have been terrible.
“The wise man gets out of the way of trouble”
I think Andrew was responsible for an in depth look at building codes and shoddy construction, supposedly, was corrected. I guess Florida will find out.
Praying for all.
No doubt, it flattened areas of Homestead.
My home on the Myakka River was updated to those codes over the years. Roof, windows, doors and garage door. Ian passed within 15 miles to the south of us. 120 mph winds. Everything survived. That storm surge pulled the water out of the river. Milton is going to flood us, when I get back, we’ll see how the codes did. Thanks for all the prayers from the fine readers.
We pulled a boat down to the keys about 2 months after. There were still sofas on the median of the interstate.
Real special. It looked like Dresden. The Glades is/are still stripped along the track with fallen trees that looks like crop circles.
My stepdad was a lawyer and had several clients in the area and it was a couple months after the storm and many of the houses.neighborhoods were just gone. Not trying to get into hyperbole but helping ring an alarm bell for folks wanting to hunker down with Milton.
I was in Kendall for Andrew, saw the corner ceiling of the family room lifting constantly- never ripped off tho. We were lucky. Cleaning the yard the next day was no joke tho, even for 4 kids it was a FULL DAYS WORK. My parents lets us eat all the sherbet from the freezer when we were done. 🤣
I was in Pembroke Pines. We lived in a cinder block Townhouse.I worked in Miami Lakes and my boss called me the day after and asked if I was coming to work 😕.
I lived in Homestead when Andrew went through. Hubby was on TDY in Vegas, scheduled to come home the day it hit. Fortunately, our neighbor and good friends came to take me and our 3 YO daughter with them for evacuation to Tampa. When we went back afterwards, our apartment complex was trashed. Our building was okay, and oddly so was our apartment (other than a small hole in a window from a bird). The apartment next door to us had everything they own blown out the sliding doors in the back and into the complex swimming pool. Doors were bowed in the center, far enough that you could easily reach inside to undo the deadbolts, although actually opening the door was not remotely easy to do. We passed a building that had a steel frame. That frame was the only thing left of the building, and the 2nd story of the frame was at about an 80 degree angle. The standing water and debris everywhere was unimaginable. Looters all over the place as well. And FEMA was absolutely NO help to anyone. Nobody we knew received more that $500 from them. Thankfully the military (at that time) took care of their own, and they made sure we had a place to stay, food/water/clothing, etc.
Godspeed and prayers to those who need to remain. Stay diligent and vigilant throughout the storm but more so after; the illegals will be looting, and the residents will need to be shooting.
As SD mentioned, I hope the storm picks up speed, even if only by an MPH or two. It will make a big difference. The winds are cold up north, with the direction currently going north to south; God is doing his best to aid in the only ways he can.

Risks, Threats and Vulnerabilities abound throughout the whole state…some less severe than others…the storm looks to cut Florida in half.
Dear God, hear the prayers of your faithful, Amen.

Appropriate time to reaffirm our faith.
Luke 1:37 (text and audio)
“For nothing will be impossible with God.”
I must say, everytime I see/hear the name Milton, I think of the movie Bachelor Party. “#*$<÷, I'm going to get Milt."
“Ummm, yeah”, when, I hear the name Milton, I “go ahead and” think of the movie Office Space.
We had an F2 tornado run dead center thru our farm on May 7th here in SW Michigan. It took out both our small 40×60 barn, the 40×90 livestock barn, $43K damage to the house (thank God the house is still standing) and about 140 trees. The debris pattern left all kinds of stuff including 4000 pounds of sheet metal from the neighbors barns down the road. Pretty devastating UNTIL we saw what happened in North Carolina and now Florida. I told the wife we were actually pretty fortunate, comparatively our was just a “paper cut”. We’re praying for all those who are affected by these horrific weather events.
Jim Cantore keeps bringing up the debris piles in the Tampa Bay area that FEMA dropped the ball (yet again) on managing, with out ever taking the time to tell the viewers who locked the gates at area landfills so only”Approved Vendors” could haul Helene Debris.
FEMA told Bay area residents “pile storm trash at the road, and someone will be by to pick it up WITHIN A YEAR” as per the Tampa market ABC affiliate reporter two nights ago.
You’d think an agency with more than 22000 employees would have enough hands to deal with these unfolding catastrophes..
Why can’t the governor bypass FEMA and have local crews pick it up? FEMA isn’t merely giving funding to local governments but running the whole operation on their terms it seems. There are always strings attached when money is involved.
Governor DeSantis HAS done that. Yesterday morning, he was on Fox & Friends & discussed the state’s efforts to clean up debris. He said that every available truck was working 27/7 & getting a LOT done!!! Prayers for all in the path of this storm . . . ! I pray that God CALMS this storm in Jesus’ HOLY name; amen!!!!!!!
He is, there is no way to get near half of it in this narrow window of operation. There are so few FEMA operatives in this State, that when ron! sent them up to NC/TN to “help” their agency(block aid shipments) the jackpot debris collection hustle ground to a halt. It’s mind warping to think fedgov probably has less than 100 actual FEMA personnel on the ground in 5 States with major damage.
Most of those “employees” sit on their fat asses at a desk in DC.
Yep.
Isn’t Tampa pretty much run by liberals?
Pretty much. I used to like to go to Ybor City during my attempt to be educated at UCF and the Dali Museum in St
Pete is cool to take a dinner date to. Other than that, I find the whole are less than exciting.

I take authority, and use our power, over Hurricane Milton, this man made-storm scheme of darkness, and I defeat it in the name of Jesus, and by the power of the Blood of Jesus. We use that authority, call down, bind, disallow, and destroy the power of Hurricane Milton that is heading to Florida. I choose as an act of my will, to call on the Angel Armies to come down, be my weapon, and fight for me. I call on as many Hosts as needed to go meet that storm, bring reinforcements as required, redirect it to the open ocean, neutralize it, and to bring it to nothing, and to no effect. We declare, and decree that this man made-storm created by the enemy will cause no death or destruction to the United States. I speak to the storm as Jesus did (Mark 4:39) and rebuke Hurricane Milton, and say Hurricane Milton “Hush now! Be still & muzzled!”
And all Your People said Amen!
Amen!!!! Yes I believe He will answer and bring glory and honor to His name!!! People will not be able to deny the Power of our living God!! thank you!!!
Praying for all of you in the eye of the storm. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I dunno… Radar imagery I’m looking at suggest Milton will go in between Sarasota and Fort Meyers. The more it tracks east, regardless of its simultaneous northward track, the more it’s going to have to track almost due north to go inland anywhere near Tamps.
Current projection.
(For those that don’t know, the wind oscillates between steady and gusts. That whipping action is what causes the damage to the trees and structures)
I communicated with family in Port Charlotte yesterday and they said they were fully prepared and planning to stay.
Just checked the evacuation map and discovered they are in Zone B and have mandatory evacuation orders.
They think because they’ve survived all the other hurricanes that this one will be the same.
They are not all the same. I sat on my front door stoop of mobile home in N. Fort Myers for Charlie, hunkered at a north neighbor’s house for the next big one (no damage except for central A/C unit death). No damage for the next one. Ian took my tied down clam shell awnings and siding strips had to be refastened in a few places and my huge palm tree fell across my driveway) and lanai screens had to be replaced (three attempts and $1000 later). My mobile home is over forty years old. I used to be zone E, now they have moved huge swaths of N. Fort Myers to Zones A and B. I still have home insurance in case my home is flattened I am covered for them to haul away the debris. God is good. I just bought a shipping container to put on my daughter’s land to live in if worse comes to worse.
Praying for you! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have already befriended several local illegals: in case, after the hurricane passes, I need a loan for repairs.
Well, you have already paid them.
Dude you forgot the/s tag
I have an ex-mother in law in the Tampa area. I hope everyone else stays safe though.
Father God… I am being lavish in my requests that You simply PICK THIS STORM UP and move it out of the way of harming Your people. Lord, You Are Mighty and Eager to save and, Father, may Your Actions bring You Glory and praise and let Your Miracles be many through this time so that everyone will attest that it could only have been You to intervene on Your beloveds’ behalf. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, we pray, AMEN
YES YES!!!! Father God hear the prayers of your people. ALL Glory to God!
Amen 🙏
Amen!

“But He said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid.” Then they gladly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.”
Be it unto us according to Your Word, Father.
Kids in Port Charlotte couldn’t evac because their brand new motor home died.
Looks like Tampa gets the wind and Charlotte Harbor the surge.

After carefully looking at elevations they decided to ride it out…
They are well prepared for the aftermath assuming they survive.
Wish I were there with them…
General Mike Flynn (@GenFlynn):
“Time for a sense of humor check troops.
With the plains of the Tetons on fire,
the mountains of N.C. destroyed by a hurricane,
the Gulf Coast of FL about to feel an historical surge of ocean water,
the forests in OR burning
Two wars waging in the ME and Eastern Europe,
a censorship war on free speech,
an upcoming BRICS summit to shift the global economic system away from the U.S. dollar,
along with both fake and real declared pandemics,
throw in some stolen valor along with stolen elections,
the globalists are pulling out all the stops.
Don’t worry, we have them right where we want them, and oh yeah, the real storm is coming.
@realDonaldTrump and @the tens of millions of Americans who will #MAGA
Damn skippy you all know I’m right! ☘️🔥🙏🏼🇺🇸” |

Hurricane Milton’s once-in-a-century potential could cause damage of more than $50 billion, with the potential to leave behind devastation approaching $175 billion or more in a worst-case scenario.
“A 1-in-100 year event is estimated by some to result in $175 [billion] in losses for landfall in the Tampa region, and $70 [billion] in losses in the [Fort] Myers region,” Jefferies analysts said.
Went to the altar last night at church and lifted my peeps down there in prayer,God be with you
General Mike Flynn (@GenFlynn): “Take this storm very seriously. I am just south of the magenta line and we’re preparing for the worst. Ground water saturation from over 50 inches of rain in the past 30 days creates serious water and flooding concerns. Winds will cause serious damage but water surge will likely cause much greater damage. @GovRonDeSantis” | nitter.poast.org
