Sync, I am so with you on this! I think I saw a poll that reported >60% of voters believe we have an election integrity problem. How could that be if we had the most secure election ever in 2020. Now lawyers from both sides are engaged in lawsuits to have states follow federal election laws or not follow federal election laws depending on what side you are on.
There are current litigation in process showing election corruption and Dominion machines vulnerability to hacking and vote counting changes. All this and more is going on to attempt to have a valid secure election while the other side is doing everything they can to make our election a popular ballot harvest from anyone and

Also, I don’t think PDJT wants to do much political hammering when he does visit. The devastation is non-political. I think it would be bad form for him to make it about himself in any way, and that would happen without his intending to do it, if he’s a very visible presence.

Power companies from Canada arrived Wednesday and are working to put up poles and wires. Some people now have limited city water. Cell phones are only on SOS mode. Some landline and fiber optics internet came back this morning.

Think tanks putting out information is nothing new. The left has been doing it for decades and so has the right.
It only became a cudgel when the MSM had utter confidence they could push the lefty ones confidently (1619, DEI). and demonize the right with zero challenge.

The gap between the Western political class and reality is striking. There is no reason for Russia to accept a cease fire. They have made this quite clear. Their conditions for negotiations are clear and they have no reason to back down on any of them.
To get a cease fire, Zelensky will have to agree to Istanbul plus, which means a full withdraw from the four provinces and probably Odessa. What must then follow is the disbanding of the Ukraine army. No way Zelensky accepts this as it means he dies.
It is encouraging that some people in the Western political class are waking up on Ukraine, but they have a long way to go before they fully understand the disaster they have created for themselves. That only comes, I suspect, when Russian tanks enter Kiev.

I just read an article regarding a potential supply shortage of Benadryl and Epinephrine related to a Yellow Jacket infestation in the Helene region. We (Mom and I) were closely following the events of the terrible fires on August 8, 2023 in Lahaina as we were already watching the youtube channel for Eric West, a realtor on Maui (we discovered him a few years earlier when Mom wanted me to find if there was anything on youtube about the Green Light in Maui, which I did, on Eric’s channel).
Lahaina was so horribly devastated during the August 8th fires and then the same pattern of people being isolated from the Mainland and even communicating with elsewhere in the Islands . . . they could not call loved ones to let them know they survived the fires, they could not contact their insurance companies, make payments online with their banks, contact their mortgage companies, even getting prescriptions refilled was impossible. Someone that Eric West knew from the Mainland shipped over Starlinks from Elon Musk and Eric began driving around in his pickup truck, stationing himself at various corners so people could stop there and get online. There was a woman physician who was desperate to help her patients get their prescriptions refilled and Eric helped her with that plus I think he gave her that Starlink and then was able to get another Starlink. There were about 200 Starlinks sent over in one shipment, meant for the people in Lahaina but they somehow wound up on the other side of the island at the Home Depot, which was strange, right?
So, people endeavoring to help the people hit by Helene and FEMA is said to be confiscating supplies and not allowing Starlinks to be put into the hands of the people who need them.
The stupid governor of Hawaii is a Democrat, Josh Green – the stupid governor of North Carolina is a Democrat, Roy Cooper – the stupid governor of Ohio is a Republican, Mike DeWine – they all three need to be OUT of office for their gross incompetence. I remember the movie about NYC Mayor Jimmie Walker starring Bob Hope – he was charged with “misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance” – that is what we have today but scaled up!
