Why did Trump allow them to arrest Assange? As noted by Assange it is a matter of court records that Pompeo had schemed to assassinate Assange. Was Trump aware of Pompeo’s plans? When did it become OK for a CIA director to plot the assassination of a private citizen whose only crime was embarrassing the CIA?
Tucker Carlson made many appeals to Trump to pardon Assange as did Judge Napolitano. According to Judge Nap Trump told him that he would pardon Assange but was talked out of it at the last minute. Judge Napolitano believes that it was Pompeo who talked Trump out of making the Pardon.
And yet I have only heard Trump talk about Pompeo in positive terms. Not long ago he said Pompeo would be welcome in a new administration and Pompeo was given a prominent spot to speak at the GOP convention. A spot that should have been filled by Tulsi.

I’ve thought of Assange’s problems with USGOV were really the root of the Trump-Russia-Wikileaks scheming. Brennan and the rest of the IC knew about Hillary Clinton hatching the Trump-Putin narrative as her Insurance Policy against losing. We also know Brennan knew it was a Hillary scheme and so reported it to the rest of IC. Not to long after, Brennan and the others decided to HIJACK Hillary’s plot to not only discredit Trump during the campaign, but to provide a means to LITIGATE THE RESULT OF THE ELECTION IF SHE LOST, kind of a case of PRE-Election Election Denying. So, the IC knew the thing was fake. They knew it very early on, but they needed something to eliminate Julian Assange as being an actual JOURNALIST and tag him as an agent of the Kremlin, along with Donald Trump. That meant hijacking Hillary’s plot, and making it as much about Assange as it was about Trump. The early Russian hack of the DNC, reported to our IC people by Dutch intelligence, which included photographing DNC documents on the desks of Russian operatives in Moscow Center, fed into this narrative. Unfortunately, these “Cozy Bear” hackers were really professional operatives. No one on the DNC payroll detected their presence while they read all the emails and sat on the VoiP telephone lines. Why? Well, Hillary was under investigation. Hillary was in charge of the DNC since she paid off all of Obama’s 2012 debt. Her main contact at DNC was Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Hillary was likely to discuss the FBI investigation with Wasserman-Schultz. I believe this goes back to Hillary using her Blackberry, against the explicit instructions of the State Department and Obama himself. She used the Blackberry when in Moscow on State Department business.
With the FBI not only investigating Hillary in 2015, but also assigning an agent to warn the DNC that Cozy Bear was in their network at the same time, I think some people like Brennan had a brainstorm that there must be another “Russian Hack” of the DNC that results in damage being done to the Clinton campaign on behalf of Putin, just like in Hillary’s scenario, but the main help for Trump would be Julian Assange publishing DNC emails which the IC will say came from a SEPARATE group of Russian hackers, the GRU’s “Fancy Bear” hackers. Only this time, instead of being impossible to verify the presence of “Fancy Bear”, the phony “Russian Hackers” would make it easy enough that no computer security consultants would need to be hired to verify that hackers were on the network. The DNC’s ordinary Information Technology staff would be alerted to the presence of “Fancy Bear” by the hackers themselves. This was in March 2016. Out of the “Fancy Bear” acting like a “bull in a china shop,” to quote Donna Brazile, Wasserman Shultz successor at the DNC in her book “Hacks.” Brazile also describes “Fancy Bear” as seemingly not caring if anyone knew they were in the DNC’s tissue paper network.
So, CrowdStrike enters the DNC and deploys their anti-hacker software known as “Falcon.” According to Brazile, CrowdStrike, through Sean Henry, the supervisor of the CrowdStrike network security engagement, wanted to disconnect the network from the Internet to scrub the hackers, while using the cover story of updating the network. Wasserman Shultz and Amy Dacey refused to allow the network to be shut down until all the primaries were concluded in June with California. The emails that Assange published in July, “coincident to the Democratic National Convention of 2016,” were stolen right under noses of CrowdStrike who had been given a STAND DOWN ORDER by the DNC management. So, the bigwigs at DNC didn’t mind having “Russian Hackers” cavorting in their network for almost two months. No one has yet to explain why anyone would do anything that stupid, and no one has attempted to make those who decided to let “Russians” run amok in there accountable for such a ridiculous decision.
On June 12, 2016, Julian Assange had an interview with Robert Preston of the UK’s ITv network. Assange stated he had “emails about Hillary Clinton” that he would publish “coincident to the the Democratic National Convention.” One day later, CrowdStrike was permitted to eliminate the hackers and shore up the network, which they did through June 12 and 13, 2016. On June 14, 2016, CrowdStrike’s Sean Henry and Dmitri Alperovitch, along with DNC’s Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Amy Dacey gave an exclusive interview with Ellen Nakashima of the Washington Post. At the same time, most of the media was deep into the reporting of the Orlando (Florida) Pulse Night Club mass shooting, which muted coverage of the alleged “Russian hack of the DNC.”
Nakashima’s article painted the data loss at the DNC to be minimal without claiming emails were stolen, but only a piece of Opposition Research about Trump stolen. Nakashima’s article made the “Russian Hack” appear to be benign, the result of Russia not knowing what to expect from Trump if he got elected in 2016. That story never was credible. All the Russians had to do was buy the book that accompanied Trump’s announcement of his candidacy, and books like “Art of the Deal,” and watch You Tube videos of Trump interviews. A hack of the DNC, to get political propaganda, was not going to tell them anything. It was a dumb story then. It’s dumb story now. Russians carrying Trump’s books to Moscow wouldn’t even need to hide them in diplomatic bag.
Brennan wanted Assange tarred with this thing so that Assange would no longer be under First Amendment protection as a journalist. He would be Espionage Act fair game. It was always Trump-Russia-Wikileaks, that was why Trump could fire Sessions, the day after the Democrats took the house in November 2018, without being impeached for obstruction. Trump could hire William Barr as Attorney General, and soon after he was confirmed, with GOP still holding the Senate, Barr shuts down Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia probe, and the Democrat majority in the House does not make a move to impeach for “obstruction,” STILL.
Weeks later, the work of Michael Pence to get Ecuador to expel Assange from the London embassy, pays off. Earlier, Paul Manafort had worked to get Assange expelled through his contacts in Ecuador. Paul Manafort, as Trump’s campaign chair, arranged for Pence to be Trump’s Vice President without getting Trump’s opinion. So, everything in this “thing” seems to run full circle. Manafort was known for hiring people for this client, the President of Ukraine, who would answer primarily to Manafort. Thinking in silos causes people to miss such subtleties.
