Interesting article, but slightly misleading. There is nothing in Chagos. Its a small, empty, uninhabited island in the middle of nowhere. (How do I know? I followed a sailing youtube channel for a few years and they visited the island see episodes 88 and 89 here: https://www.youtube.com/@svdelos/search?query=chagos ). In the article it states Diego Garcia has will have a 99 year lease for continued US operations so this isn’t a big deal either. The US is not going to leave. My guess is the main problem for the Brits is that it just cost too much money to sustain its operations to control these islands. In episode 89 it explains what’s involved.

Our small NE NC community has been “stuffing” a bus with supplies until tomorrow. The crew is heading out to Hendersonville and surrounding areas. Baby formula, bug spray, diapers, contact lens solution, adult and child OTC meds, adult diapers, feminine products. Many more obscure things are being asked for. Of course, batteries, flashlights, small propane canisters, trash bags, gloves, expected items, etc.
Someone here has family there. The church and locals will distribute where needed. (hopefully). Another run in late Oct when the needs that may not be for survival are addressed.

Melania discussed this book recently with Ainsley Earhardt and made it crystal clear that she supports a woman’s right to choose abortion and went on to say that it had always been her belief.
It’s good to see that I am not alone in my disdain for the timing of the release of this book. It seems Melania stays out of sight unless there is a fundraiser by the Log Cabin Republicans and she never misses those. She can’t even drag herself into a Florida courtroom to show support for her husband, much less one in New York. Melania’s star quality faded for me a long time ago especially when she announced she would not be spending much time in Washington if Trump is elected focusing only on the most important “official duties”. She had four years to write her riveting mini tome. Why now? Trump has indicated that he gave her permission to reveal her stance on abortion. The question is, why was it necessary to reveal it at any time especially in a book that was suppose to be largely biographical.

I don’t know if this is a liberal NGO, but I assume it is. For people who haven’t been to California lately, most of the commonly shoplifted items are locked up.
It makes shopping a nightmare as you have to try and find a clerk with a key for these items. I propose that shoplifting is lower because of this fact and not that the released criminals have suddenly become more honest.
It’s reminiscent of the MSMisledia claim that illegal immigration is down. Let’s say it was 120,000 a month under Trump and it’s been 3,000,000 a month under FJB/FKH. Well if it drops to 2,900,000 the misledia boasts that illegal immigration has decreased under FJB/FKH when in fact it’s still 24 times higher than it was under Trump.
I had an idea about California’s stupid shoplifting law. Since anything $950 or less isn’t pursued an intrepid retailer needs to add $950 to all marked prices. So a toothbrush is priced $951.99. Then when the buyer gets to the register they get an honest shopper discount of $ $950 and pay $1.99.
We need to fight these utopian, statist, collectivist, commies at their own game. Sure they’ll tweak the law and the retailer can tweak the displayed prices to match.
There should also be conservative, constitutional non-profits to report things like crime. That way they can immediately debunk fake statistics from the government.
