While rescue workers still attempt to find access points into some of the most devastated towns and communities of Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina, Joe Biden was in Greenville, South Carolina today for a briefing [SEE HERE]. There remains a worrisome absence of overall federal action when overlaid to the scale of the problem.
Day #6 and 7 are generally fraught with anxiety and the sense of being overwhelmed when contrast against the tasks at hand. It is understandable that PTSD would begin to settle in the psyche of those in the hardest hit areas. We have many friends in the region and send our deepest prayers of support and assistance to those in need. You are not alone.
On Tuesday, I-40 was reopened east of Asheville, but I-40 at mile marker 3 in Haywood County will remain closed indefinitely.
Both I-40 East and West are closed from mile marker 432 in Tennessee east to mile marker 3 in North Carolina. I-40 West is closed starting at mile marker 3 in North Carolina west through mile marker 435 in Tennessee, according to TDOT.
While the major thoroughfare is closed for the foreseeable future, there are ways around it.
Interstate 81 offers a bypass to I-40. Those in the Northwest section of Western North Carolina, can look for a safe route to I-81 into Tennessee which connects with Interstate 77, providing an alternate route to other areas in North Carolina.
Those in the Southwest part of the state can still travel on part of Interstate 26, but sections of the road may be closed. People can also seek out safe routes to Interstate 85 and then head Northbound to the Charlotte area.
Those south of Hendersonville can take U.S. 74 ALT to U.S. 74 East toward Shelby and then connect with I-85 to Charlotte and other points North and East.
U.S. 64 to U.S. 74 ALT just north of Hendersonville is impassable at this time due to landslides. The road is also impassable between U.S. 74 ALT and Slick Rock Road according to NCDOT. (link)

A tad of happy news. I went to the Tractor Supply today to get some pet food. They had a bunch of dog treats on sale, I bought a bag, left the store. I realized what a bargain it was and went back to get some bags to send to the hurricane dogs. The manager remembered me, I had my dog w/me, so of course he remembered us because my dog is incredibly adorable and always hits up the cashier for a treat. LOL!
Anyway, I told him what I was doing and cleared the shelf of the sale treats. He took an additional 75% off. I got almost $200 in primo dog treats for $17.oo. It made my day. I hope the treats will help the traumatized dogs to feel some love.

I encourage every able bodied person to sign up with SP and go help. You need to come prepared to be completely self-sufficient as if you were camping. It’s super easy to sign up on the SP website. Bring your chainsaw, and whatever tools you have. Make sure you have your own food, water and bring full gas cans. The SP website may tell you they are full for overnight workers, but that is only if you are relying on them for food and accomodations. If you come prepared to take care of yourself, just sign up as a day worker but then stay as long as you can. It’s really bad up there and they need all the help they can get.

Update!! 10:45pm ET 10/1/24
The mule team had a successful day today, and they were able to bring mule loads of food and supplies to many residents in Black Mountain. All went smoothly, and the mules and packers are resting for the night! Their plan for tomorrow, is to bring supplies, food, and check on residents’ needs in an area towards Swannanoa, where it is believed 30% of the town’s residents are trapped and can’t get out. This will be a busy day for the team, and we pray for their safety and stamina!
Here at home, we stocked up on a huge amount of supplies, thanks to donations of so many!! And, Tractor Supply generously loaded a 24′ stock trailer to the brim with plenty of livestock and pet food and also lots of gear like tarps, batteries, lights, work gloves, brooms, and shovels.
Then we met at the Food Lion in Cleveland, NC to collect food and supplies brought by those that wanted to donate. It was so moving and beautiful to see people lined up bringing bag after bag, box after box, and case after case for the cause. We all had tears in our eyes and lumps in our throats as we joined together for a common cause. The devastation in the mountains has broken all of our hearts, but we are thankful that even in this sadness, we see God working through so many wonderful people. We will continue to praise HIM!! Thank you, thank you!!!!

Good news, help is on the way! Power line trucks have scooped up the hotel/motel rooms in Greensboro, NC. Traveling I-75, US 301, I-95, i-73-74 smooth driving by pick up from west coast of FL to Cincinnati area for wedding. Attempted hotel reservation in Greensboro and central reservations for Hilton hotels informed Greensboro area booked by lineman. Duke Power is based in NC. No problem booking in High Point, NC. The weather is cooler and drier. Observed 2 large RV rental command RVs headed north on i95. Curiously, the Tenn National Guard were recently deployed overseas just prior to the rapidly spun up hurricane making landfall. DeSantis to deploying State Guard, National Guard and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to rescue Floridians trapped in western NC .

This attempt to shut down donations and volunteers in Tennessee is no different than the attacks on all the doctors, nurses, and people speaking out in public about the dangers of the vaxx. The feds are confiscating donations in Tennessee
Red Cross and FEMA/TEMA has arrived and all donations that has been given to local high school volunteers have been CONFISCATED.
Starting with Davy Crockett High school, They are taking over all volunteer schools in Washington Co, & Greene County.
In order for anyone to get donations that was given they must be approved.
All monetary donations have been taken as well and placed into a TEMA account. If you are unaware of how that works- those items doesn’t all get used for this particular disaster.
Volunteers have been asked to leave, and was told in order to help they MUST be trained by United Way.
PLEASE, I know I already made a post on Red Cross and FEMA the other day, but please if you donate, donate to a church or give to individuals.
They can not take supplies from churchs! Church members will make sure your donations get to the correct hands.
We are still taking donations here, as well as picking up donations this weekend- our donations will be going directly to church’s for them to help the communities.
I know several others that are picking up donations and taking them as well.
And if you would rather donate directly to a church for a church to take- I can put you in contact with churches also.

I knew about “cloud seeding” decades ago, but not about the use of newer chemicals/substances, nor the extent of the effort which had silently expanded by several magnitudes.
The Lahaina HI incident in 2023 ONLY opened my eyes to the use of directed energy to further destroy ordinary citizens property and have the government-controlled authorities seize it for redistribution to the uber-rich corporate & wealthy class. THAT incident made me look back at claims that the unusual increase in destructive fires in food industry plants and other critical resource storage & mfg facilities in key locations GLOBALLY… and realize that the coincidences were far in excess of previous stats & records and could not be adequately explained by any attempted reasoning that had come from “government sources”.
I know that many (most?) folks are still in disbelief – the place where I was before – so I try not to criticize them (sometimes an unnecessarily snide remark indicating their assumption of their intellectual superiority triggers my …let’s say, more assertive response with more links to evidence….)
But a steady research with older online documents (often obscure – not on popularly frequented sites), videos, and especially from already-proven reliable sources who use valid deductive reasoning finally broke through my resistance and opened my mind. Also, I had to frequently avoid using the popular search engines to get away from the Establishment media and “approved” (deep state-controlled) source filters. I used swisscows and yandex with great success.

A private helicopter pilot just posted a video on Patriots Win. He has been flying deep into the forest looking for SOS signs. The military is doing nothing. He only saw two military helicopters. Those pilots told him that they cannot get orders to fly in and rescue people.
Anyway, this private pilot said they need helicopters. Private pilots are also buying their own gas. In addition, they have had local law enforcement attempt to stop them from rescuing people.
He recounted an incident where a news crew attributed a rescue of an 11 day old baby and an elderly woman to a military pilot. This private pilot said, “That was b.s. I am the one that flew in and rescued them. The government is doing nothing. Do not believe their lies. Everyone needs to know that the government is lying to you. They are doing nothing!”
His message is, “We need MORE helicopters. People deep in the woods are dying when they could be rescued. The government is doing NOTHING!”

Politicians Are Hindering Rescue Efforts in North Carolina, and One Rescuer Has Had Enough
…The terrain and the damage have made rescue efforts difficult, but that hasn’t stopped people from trying. However, bureaucrats are hindering these efforts, and they’re often passing the blame between local, state, and federal entities.
One Florida entrepreneur who has been trying to rescue people for several days vented his frustrations in an Instagram video on Tuesday. Jonathan Howard has been working on rescue efforts since over the weekend, and he didn’t hold back in explaining what’s going on. You can watch the video here, but I didn’t embed it because of the profanity.
“I try not to cuss but I am just so mad at the lack of Government support and I need people to hear how desperate this situation is,” Howard wrote in his caption. “I don’t have time to be nice or gentle right now. People are literally dying by the day here and it can all be fixed with Helicopters. It’s like our Government wants these people to die. They’re so incompetent, disorganized, and dishonest it’s disgusting.
Howard is a member of the Florida State Guard Special Missions Unit, and he has been working with a non-profit called Aerial Recovery to help save lives. But he’s running into infuriating bureaucratic brick walls.
“I’m gonna tell you everything that’s happening from the ground, what I’m actually seeing because what they’re telling you is complete bulls**t on the news, and these politicians don’t have a f***ing clue and they’re lying,” he began.
Howard emphasized the need for helicopters in the air to help search for people. Chainsaws and trucks aren’t enough. He said that people are “10 miles in, 20 miles, 40 miles in the mountains. There’s no way to get with them or even communicate with them. I am literally flying around in a civilian helicopter looking for SOS messages carved in the mud or paint on the ground, and we’re dropping down and saving them.”
He related how he and his friends rescued an 11-day-old baby, yet government entities were using the media to claim credit for the rescue. They rescued an older woman who was on oxygen and only had one day left in her supply.
Howard pointed out that he has only seen two Blackhawks engaging in search and rescue. On the other hand, he has counted around 40 civilian helicopters trying to find people and save them from the devastation.
“I have my entire team up here from Florida right now, and they have no ability to go rescue these people other than what they can drive to,” he lamented. “The people that are in dire need, they’re out in the mountains. They are completely cut off.”…

have been fussing about this very thing all night.
the overriding “official” goal now in this country – so visible with this catastrophe –
is to enfeeble the entire populace making EVERYONE (minus the elites, of course) totally dependent on government,
including for their very lives.
want to help the elderly couple trapped in their home at high elevation, and who need food, water, and medicine?
no can do, or you risk arrest.
want to help the family with an infant who needs formula, or kids with special food needs?
not gonna happen, and your supplies will be confiscated.
want to help rescue livestock or companion animals who desperately need to eat and receive care?
nope, you’ll be turned away, forcibly if necessary.
no one is allowed autonomy or independence now in this new, unresponsive-response approach.
you will not be allowed to take care of yourself, your family, your friends, your neighbors, or strangers in dire need,
and there will be no one left to teach you how, anyway.
preppers will hold out the longest, until an unmarked crop duster flies over your property one day
and poisons the land and everything on it.
no one will be left untouched, even if you live in Alaska,
because the message is loud and clear –
there will be no escape (thermal imaging has been in the news a lot lately for some reason),
there will be no assistance, and there will be no mercy.
so, those who would render aid are prevented from doing so,
and those who need aid are prevented from receiving it.
our “officials” are so dismissive of us they barely even comment on their inaction.
we’re at a great big town meeting and we’ve all just been told to sit down and shut up.
so, yes, i will donate;
yes, i will vote;
yes, i will pray;
and yes, i wish there were more i could do.
but most of all, i will try not to keep visualizing those trapped in the mountains who cannot hold on much longer.
