Voters ought to be watching – it’s President Trump marshalling relief – semi loads of supplies and immediate necessities donated to Samaratan’s Purse – even tankers of gasoline. One thing people forget is that FEMA is not and never has been a Response Agency. People look to it in times of disaster for a response but they are not there for that reason.
What they are is a Beuracracy of paper pushers who will come in and have meetings. If you want to have a meeting they are good for that, anything else not so much.
I have dealt with FEMA and our State agency way more than I would wish on anyone and they are useless until you are trying to figure out how to pay for the damages.
Also, we have made several trips to the Blue Ridge / Elijah/ McCaysville/ Helen area of North GA the last few years and have noticed the same thing there with the FL license plates

Those trailers came into being as part of the recovery from Katrina due to all of the backlash about no response from FEMA, and have been disposed of over the years.
As for the coffins I have no idea, have never seen them.

I am a Lineman of over 30 years and have been on a lot of Hurricanes since Andrew, not to mention Ice Storms. They are hollers that they have to pipe in sunshine back in there. The powerlines go up and down mountains there. Most of time a helicopter is used to set the poles and everything has to be climbed to work it. It will be months. They need the roads temporarily fixed so the crews can even get in to start.
I have 5 lineman in my family that have started under me. They are all in Charlotte NC now and are going to Asheville next. They are pissed because they are going to mostly ungrateful liberal cities.
They want to go to Western NC and East Tennessee to help the people who really need help. These boys do not shy away from the hard work. They want To Help People.

Greene County TN has no water. Massive amounts of damage and few intact bridges. Many people are still stuck in their communities.
We do at least have communications for the most part. Widespread power outages remain as linemen work around the clock getting to downed poles and lines.
Fire and rescue crews are working diligently to reach stranded people. Private sector and churches are stepping up to take care of food supplies and water for anyone who needs it.

YES, I was able to contact them. They are well and were able to secure an extra generator from nearby friend. This will keep the pump running to secure water from their well. Meanwhile, my sister in Columbia, SC contacted Red Cross who would do a wellness check within 48 hours.
Praise be to our Heavenly Father and may He continue to send His guardian angels to the others in western NC.
I am familiar with Ashville, NC. Went there for a job interview once. Beautiful area. That being said I know it is also a liberal hellhole underneath that beauty. Should Trump go there in good faith knowing he may not be received well?
