A very simple ballot counting rule was affirmed by the Georgia election board on Friday in a 3-2 vote.
The “hand count” ballot rule (183-1:12) is very basic and simple. Essentially it says all the paper ballots must be hand counted and matched to the number of people recorded electronically to the vote. Example, if 1,000 votes are electronically counted, there should be 1,000 physical ballots to match. This is not complicated and will not take much time.
The ballots are not being checked for voting accuracy, or vote recording/candidate specifics. Only the number of ballots, the number of physical ballots, that should match the number of recorded voters. Easy peasy, very simple. Not complex.
However, despite the simplicity of the new rule, the DNC and left-wing activists are furious about the simple process. “This is nothing more than an 11th-hour effort by Donald Trump and his ‘pit bulls’ to slow down the counting of ballots so they can attack and undermine any result they don’t like,” Jamie Harrison, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, said on Friday afternoon. What Georgia election rule 183-1-12 does through the hand count is stop the issue of scanning a ballot more than once to count a single ballot (or batch of ballots) as multiple votes of the batch. One ballot, one vote, one voter, match the counts and easy peasy.
If you count 100 one-dollar bills, you should have $100. However, if you count 100 one-dollar bills and your sales report shows $500 sold there’s a problem. Ballots are the same.
Seeing the leftists go bananas over this single and simple rule enforcement, makes me wonder how much the Clyburn team need to scan batches of ballots multiple times. If they lose Pennsylvania (Philly and Pittsburgh) as a fraud vector for success, Georgia becomes much more important. Clyburn has spent a lot of time and resource energy in Georgia. That, and the simple reality that they use to ALL be hand counted, aside – Argentina used cardboard boxes, paper ballots, and hand counts in their widely overseen election and were able to count 25-30 million ballots on election night in less time than it took counts in 2020 in the U.S..

Indiana has some of the worst rinos, Pence, Todd Young are the worst but the state is triple red. I’m 73 and always vote election day. Picture id at voter check-in, paper ballot and I feed the ballot into counter and see the vote count increase. Results are almost always in 3 or 4 hours after polls close but if it’s a near dead heat it takes a couple days. It’s always been this way.
I worked as a gop representative for absentee votes back in the 90s. Serious business – you had to have a valid reason to vote absentee, me and a democrat would go to their home, verify id and then collect the ballot – no hanky panky. The main cheat back then was operatives going to assisted living facilities and fast talking residents into voting their way – small potatoes compared to the blatant fraud of today.

At the precinct level, counting & scanning takes very little time. Time isn’t their problem. It’s the inability to inject fraudulent ballots anywhere they dam well please to.

Which when you think about it, should be close to impossible to do.
Why do I say that – well, each precinct has a record of how many ballots were cast (or should). It should be a relatively simple matter to detect whether the central counting centers are adding or subtracting ballots by totaling the individual precinct ballots + a tally of the mail-in ballots, which should be counted when the envelopes and signatures are checked.
That would reduce the number of avenues for cheating considerably. If they required voter ID in a state, it becomes even easier to count as a count could be done as ID’s are verified.
In Florida, back when I was working the polls, the first voter had to verify that the number on the voting machine was 0 before he/she cast the ballot and then verify that the number advanced to 1. When the polls closed, the number of ballots cast had to match the number that went through the machine and ALL the paper ballots -even the ones that were spoiled and voided as well as the provisional ballots – had to be accounted for.

Opponents keep bringing up the extra time it takes to hand count ballots and the extra cost but the truth is there are millions of Americans, who if asked, would gladly volunteer to be part of the process for free. They would come out of the woodwork. The truth is, counting ballots (they should be counting the votes too by hand) simply lessens the ability to cheat.
Good for Georgia but I am worried about North Carolina. They are pulling out all the stops to take NC. I mean they sent out ballots this week which was late because of having to remove RFK’s name and early voting starts in mid-October…just very suspicious.
Quit being suspicious and get involved in your Local precinct by attending your local precinct canvassing board meeting each week (Open to Public–few people attend) as mail in ballots are received and verified against the voter rolls. Make sure that canvassing boards are verifying signatures, number of ballots, voter rolls, and data required on ballot mail envelope. This simple action in smaller counties can accomplish a lot. In our problem cities (Raleigh/Durham/Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston Salem) the Canvass board members use local staff members to help do the verification process. This is an area where we must demand that all staff member verification must be witnessed by the public or representatives of both parties.

All of this early voting stuff isn’t such a good idea either. It just gives the cheaters an early read on what they need to do. Whether it’s manufacturing more ballots from the corrupt voter rolls or simply scanning legal ballots over and over to make up a deficit, they know in advance what is needed.
I suspect what threw them in 2016 was the huge number of election day votes that broke for Trump. They have mechanisms in-place now to make sure that will never ever get them again. Even if they have to cover windows and make the GOP officials leave the room.
In places like WI and MI, the state GOP has basically helped the democrats cheat. We’ll see it again in Nov in those same places. Sickening to me and most people just don’t care.

If you take the time to actually read the state law in Georgia, you will find that someone in the past spent a great deal of time and energy thinking about the potential avenues for fraud. But, basically what happened in Georgia and in other key states is that those carefully-crafted laws were ignored. And that various people – state officers, election officials, and even judges(!) – told them that “the law” was whatever they wanted it to be. Of course what those people “wanted” was fraud.
As they say: “Be careful what you wish for.”
The framers of our Constitution were also careful to specify: “the Legislatures thereof.” Not the state governor, not the election officials, and also not the State (or, Federal(!)) Court. State Legislatures could enact anything they wished. But, whatever they enacted must be followed in their State, exactly as enacted.
Democrat cheating is utterly, blatantly obvious. What astounds me is how bad tribal politics has become that so many people willingly cheer for it against their own best interests.
Georgia officials should rename the hand ballot count the “Fulton County Cleaning House Act.”

I was an election judge in Maryland, a state that requires judges to receive additional training between election cycles. Near the end of my training sessions, the instructor asked if there were any questions before we wrapped things up.
So I raised my hand and said, “What do I say to all the voters in my district who remember when I.D.s were required to vote and try to show me their I.D.s, then become angry when I tell them I am not allowed to ask them for identification?”
The room went silent for a couple of seconds. I presume that wasn’t a question election officials wanted to hear.
Then the instructor said, “Tell them that’s Maryland law and if they aren’t happy about it they should contact their representative in Annapolis and try to change the law.”
There is, of course, no reason other than corruption that the Maryland Election Board bars its judges from looking at I.D.s, even from voters who want to show them. And there is no reason other than corruption that my wife and I are sent blank, mail-in ballots before every election that we never requested by us and that require minimal verification to ensure that someone else isn’t voting with our ballots.
I worked with some really good, dedicated people at our voting center, putting long hours to serve their districts, but their hands are tied and they’re forced to work within the restraints of a rigged system.
And that’s why I won’t be judging this election cycle.

Most of us judges knew the identities of a few people who voted but the vast majority we didn’t know. Hell’s bells, now the poll officers will all need to show math proficiency in order to prove they know how to count fractional votes and total all those amounts.
As a Georgia resident, I did a fist pump and yelled, “Hell, yeah!!” when I first read about this yesterday. Although I realize there are still a myriad of ways for Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett to pull off some cheating, this rule goes a long way in making the count fair.

I was born and raised in Martinez/Evans GA and, most of family are still there. I told my mama that the Atlanta, Fulton county area will outvote, (in terms of population), the rest of GA but yall still got to vote!!!
My mama, (80 yrs old), said, “I’m going to vote and, told her Sunday School class that if they need a ride to the polls, she will help get them there”. Her advice to me about the ignorant or, willfully ignorant was, “do what you can to convince them but, if you cant, don’t judge or condemn them. Look them in the eye and say, “Bless you your heart”.
If it wasn’t for all the cheating and fraud, our President Trump would win in a landslide.
Like he did in 2020.
This just stops putting ballots through the counting machines multiple times in Georgia.
It does not stop it in Pennsylvania, Michigan, or Wisconsin.
