It only matters in New York. Overall, nationwide the Jews could vote 100% for Trump and it wouldn’t change the outcome.
The incredible power weilded by the Jewish community is organizing and running campaigns, and media including major advertising companies. It’s even more impactful than the money.
This trends all the way down to local school boards.
Bear in mind, active support for Trump among religious Jews (especially orthodox Jews) is around 90%+. It is secular Jews, who primarily identify as ethnic Jews, but do not necessarily believe in Judaism as a faith, that don’t support him. Think evangelical Christian support vs. support within other Christian denominations like the United Methodist Church that ordain openly gay clergy. Not picking on the Methodists, I’m sure there are others.
Instead of telling his target audience / demographic (like my immediate family) something to the effect that “If you don’t vote for me you should have your head examined.”, which is probably true but somewhat harsh and offensive, similar to FJB’s “If you don’t vote for me you ain’t black.”, I think it would have been more effective for PDJT to say that he is understanding of the Jew’s long-standing historical record of voting “democrat”, but to do so now, at this point in history, would be a huge, costly, and deadly mistake for Israel and Jews in the United State and world-wide.
