A simple scan using a drone with IR detector sent around the course would’ve spotted the assassin lurking in the bushes who could’ve been intercepted before 45 got anywhere within range. That’s at least twice the USSS failed to use any drone scans before 45 got to a site where an assassin was waiting.
A simple drive around the exterior perimeter of that golf course on public roads would have thwarted the latest attempt well before gunfire was involved.
If they used an IR scanner or if he was visible from the road, yes, agree. I thought the perp was hidden in the bushes.
I virtually “drove” around the perimeter yesterday using Google’s Street View and saw a lot of dense foliage…
Bongino said they have IR equipped drones….. that’s where I first heard it…
I’m not certain from what I’ve seen that he was visible from the road, but it seems that some spots are clearly accessible and easy to get to, and there’s no excuse for the ASS to not be quite familiar with them.
I don’t think the foliage is really that deep, a driver and a spotter with some tracking skills could do wonders, and wasn’t his vehicle parked nearby for twelve hours simply demanding an immediate scouring of that perimeter?
From what I could tell, using the Google Street view and the satellite view, there were multiple spots, he might have used for parking; most of which were across a street from the perimeter of the course.
