At 500 yards, the 7.62×39 is lucky to hit paper. Gave a demonstration of that at Stone Bay in 90, before we shipped to the Gulf.
A 7.62×39 round is massive deadly ammo in the same league with a 30-06 or .308 from the M1 Garand era. The 5.56 AR-15 round is a .223 from the .22 caliber family only faster and slightly larger bullet. A .22 caliber bullet is 40 grains. A 5.56 is a 55 grain bullet. A 7.62 is probably a 150 grain bullet.
They’ve moved from Patsies to Operatives as their desperation escalates.
Semi automatic (but it can be made FA). Uses the same 7.62×39 0.311″ 123gr bullet as the other (early) Eastern Bloc weapons. Longer barrel than a normal AK47. Just as inaccurate as the AK47 because the grooves are generally .001″-.003″ larger than the 0.0311″ bullets. Some bores are 0.315″. Scope mount goes on an aftermarket dust cover and is generally loose which causes bad prints downrange. Maybe 4 MOA on a good day…100 yard gun. The original 5-10 round steel magazine can be fit with an aftermarket latch for larger capacity magazines.
That’s not to say I haven’t got an early /26\ factory VN era milled receiver (early ’60s) rifle that I restored for the collection. Pristine chrome barrel but it still shoots like crap. Wall hanger only.
Doesn’t look like an SKS to me. Unless the SKS is modified, it can’t accept the AK47 magazine shown in the picture. Looks more like the Eastern Block SVD Dragunov sniper rifle. Can be very lethal in the right hands. The AK 47 and the SKS are both chambered for the 7.62×39 cartridge, similar to our 30-30, while the Dragunov is normally chambered for the 7.62x54R which is similar to our 30-06. In competent hands, the scoped SVD Dragunov would quite easily hit within a 6″ lethal zone at 200-300 yards, or a lot farther (800yds).

What I know is that the first-time ever processes put in place to receive votes and count votes in 2020 were such that an audit of those processes for both could never be accomplished in the limited time between the day of the election and the day of the meeting of the electoral college.
I know that we had highly partisan Secretaries of State and state court judges alter election procedures in ways that benefitted Biden.
I know that one factual challenge to the vote count in Georgia was filed timely by the Trump campaign but the Georgia judiciary did not act on that complaint in compliance with Georgia law prior to the meeting of the electoral college.
I do not know if there was an amount of fraud that would have been outcome definitive because the processes used could not be audited.
For the same reason, no one can say definitively that there was NOT outcome altering fraud either.

I hope we’re not going to deep six the other big story about the debate setup. Pressure needs to be put on the Speaker who was given the affidavit and details.
