I thought Elon wasn’t cooperating with the feds, so why are the shooter’s tweets scrubbed?
Maybe they didn’t so much scrub it as they simply took it off line, made it unavailable for us lookyloos in order to preserve it as it was up until the time of his arrest and to stop people from adding new comments so in a court of law the prosecutors can claim the information has not been altered by adding to or deleting anything?

Good morning to my beloved MAGA family!!! Whew what a time to be alive, especially when both myself and my husband just faced near-death experiences. I had a staph infection and was hospitalized for a week immediately following by my husband having a heart attack AND a series of strokes! We are both doing well.
Anyway, first of all, I thought I would mention that up until yesterday, I never felt hate in my heart. Disgust, anger, etc…but not hate on a personal level. However, seeing some of the vitriol from members of the left, both famous and personally known, I felt a burning in my heart. Not the warm burning of love, but instead a bitter, poisonous feeling of hate. It actually scares me. But honestly, I am so done with everyone on the left. I cannot imagine being so hateful that you would think that 2 assassination attempts on this wonderful man are not only OK, but applauded. I honestly hate them all.
Now that I have that off my chest, I did have one other thought about this and was wondering what others think. Both attempts, while each came EXTREMELY close to success, were by “lone wolf” patsy/pasty types. I have no doubt this is a coordinated effort, but I also wonder if the way these have been set up aren’t more of a final warning to Trump to BTFO. I mean, they’ve tried everything, right? Russia, impeachments, arrests, prosecutions, lawsuits, and now this, I’m wondering if this isn’t a message they are sending. Of course, if the attempts had been successful, they’d have been OK with it, but I think they are both somewhat of trial balloons. See what the populace will tolerate and normalize. They are now outwardly stating on MSM that Trump asked for this, basically, that he deserves this. Yet here we are. No one is marching, protesting, nothing. It is like the “new normal.”
So what’s next is what has be so scared. The message is quite clear. We can get you if we want to. We are everywhere. So find a bunker, be quiet and let us finish the job we started by finalizing the ultimate destruction of America. Scares the crud out of me! I am just so grateful for the hand of God that has been revealing Itself to me, first by my recover, now my husbands and then Trump’s. God, please continue to watch over this solider of freedom. Please keep Trump and his family safe from the evils of this world.

Trump usually does this process and it is amazing to see him do this. But ABC debate got to Trump and hopefully Trump will center himself again so GOD stays in him. LET GOD deal with stuff, but if Trump expresses anger, GOD has no choice but to leave Trump (because GOD loves everyone), and has to disconnect. For example, I could have a long-time friend who I grew up with, and if my friend starts killing people, and hurting people, I don’t want to hang out with my friend if he harms others I love. Didn’t think the Swift comment was helpful, even for Trump venting. But there are a lot of ways that Trump can, and HAS, externalized his anger as righteous and reasonable and the way all of us should be feeling. Liberals taking over the expression of opinion thru media, thru schools, thru museums … all this helps people accept the revolution that’s happening against our country. And the J6 and lawfare let them show what will happen if anyone tries to fight them. So Trump’s anger is the only thing that stays in the news and informs people that they SHOULD be angry at what the liberals are doing and they SHOULD express that anger by electing people who will fight the liberals and fight locally for the protection of the ballot boxes. I want Trump’s anger loud and clear. I want a reasoned expression in that anger of why the liberals and wrong and what needs to be done to acknowledge the damage already done.
Apologies for butting in on your hot rant, but probably God and President Trump between them can organise the extent to which they can handle the understandable emotional fallout of the abominable treatment that’s been aimed at the President.
We don’t know all the ins and outs of what’s really going on and are, therefore, in a poor position to judge.
And God promises to protect his faithful people and keep them firm and blameless to the end (1Cor 1:1-8), so I’m sure we can all trust our Lord to fulfil His will, no matter how imperfectly we respond and how often we fail – as long as we keep our feet and wills pointing in a direction that is ok with Him, ie following Jesus as best we genuinely can.

Mrs. Ausonius and I * recently saw the movie Reagan, which we highly recommend. The movie encapsulates Ronald Reagan’s life through the work of a Russian intelligence analyst (played by Jon Voight).
I was reminded of a Ronald Reagan rally in Dayton during his attempt to wrest the nomination away from Gerald Ford, the status quo Republican who found himself in the White House due to the quirk of Vice-President Spiro Agnew’s resignation followed by Richard Nixon’s later resignation, thereby nullifying the election of 1972.
Dayton was and still is a DEM stronghold: 50 years ago the labor unions still had influence, people still supported the DEMS out of an attachment to the mistaken belief that Franklin Roosevelt had saved the country during the Depression.
Nevertheless, Ronald Reagan came to Dayton to rally Republicans to his side. Unfortunately, the best place that local Republicans could find was an empty lot behind Dayton’s skid-row on East Fifth Street just outside of downtown. In the 1970’s, this area had “adult XXX” grindhouses and “adult book stores,” along with smelly used-clothing places and empty, boarded up buildings. My parents and I * were appalled, but we wanted to hear and see Ronald Reagan!
And so, a few hundred people walked through an alley in this terrible two-block area to the triangular open lot. An elevated railroad track formed a hypotenuse behind the small stage. Two buses were parked by the wall holding up the track, and at the appointed time, cowboy actor Ken Curtis appeared from the bus, followed by Ronald Reagan.
Ken Curtis was famous at the time for his role as a grizzled cowboy on a popular Western T.V. show called Gunsmoke. He began talking in his character’s voice (who was named “Festus”) and told a few jokes, but as he became more serious about the contemporary situation, he returned to his normal voice and began introducing Ronald Reagan and explaining why he should be nominated.
Then the former governor himself spoke to this small crowd in a dirty, slummy lot off an alley in Dayton, as if he were addressing millions! I believe the speech was a variation of his famous 1964 speech at the Republican convention, but was updated to address the problems in 1976.

And both dealt successfully in domestic and foreign affairs, after their policies and personalities were denigrated by the DEMS and The Deep State (Reagan was called a “wild cowboy” and “dangerous” and “reckless” especially in foreign affairs).
To be sure, Reagan did not suffer a stolen election, nor suffer the barrage of lawsuits to place him in jail, but today’s DEMS are so brazenly corrupt that their ancestors of 40 years ago seem angelic in contrast.
If History is not repeating, as the saying goes, it is rhyming: President TRUMP has the same tenacity which Ronald Reagan had.
In the movie, the Russian specialist on his life grudgingly admired and was amazed by Reagan’s persistence, his drive, his belief in himself, and the strength of his beliefs in America coupled with the strength of his absolute refusal to tolerate Communism’s very existence.

Hello to everyone! Does anyone here remember a song by the Isley Brothers called”Fight the Power”? Yesterday, I was Living My Best Life—cooking 3 new recipes & listening to music. “Fight the Power “ was on the playlist. After it was over, I told my husband that I had danced to that song 100 times back in the 70s, & little did I know back then how the lyrics would actually be meaningful to me 50 years later. Two hours later, my husband told me what had happened to President Trump yesterday. My question is—how is everyone here dealing with their emotions? I went to bed so angry, stupefied, & hard-hearted. I got up the same way this morning. It’s not a good feeling, & no way to live. I decided long ago not to let anyone steal my joy. However, it’s getting harder & harder to claw it back.
