Martin County Sheriff William Snyder gave a press briefing earlier today and at a certain point was asked some specifics about the attempted shooter/assassin Ryan Routh and his connection to the area.
At 11:25 of the video below, Sheriff Snyder instinctively has two general baseline questions: (1) How did the assassin, from outside the area, know exactly where to be in order to have the opportunity to shoot President Trump; and (2) Did Ryan Rough act alone, or was he part of a supportive conspiracy to assassinate President Trump. I think it is fair to say that we all view the use of the FBI in this investigation with great trepidation.
Given the long and extensive history of the modern, highly, intensely political, FBI as a weaponized agency of the federal government, there is zero faith or trust in their institutional ability to conduct a genuine investigation. This is not a comfortable thing to accept or admit, but unfortunately there is no other intellectually honest reference point from which to generate optimism.
Sheriff Snyder repeatedly defers all elements of the ongoing investigation to the FBI. However, on the positive side all of the information that is inside the control of the local law enforcement is being shared with the public; it’s the feds that are the problem.
CTH has sources within the system on a local and state level. Prayers for President Trump, the entire Trump family and organization, along with our entire nation, continue.
Routh from outside the area knew about the photographer viewpoint in the fence, acquired a non-serialized weapon with a scope and ammo and waited 12 hours. Sounds like there is an accomplice somewhere.
I am unsure of how much info should be shared with the public. Some of it will be helpful to the next one who tries. Like how they spotted him. It would be better for it not to be known by sticking the barrel out like he did was how he got caught. Now the next amateur knows not to do that.
Phil Godlewski published on his Telegram channel 4 photos of President Trump taken while he was on the FL golf course at the time of the shooting.
President Trump is shown in 3 of the 4 photos dressed in a dark suit, long-sleeved white business shirt with cuff links, red tie, & business shoes!
Two of the 4 photos has President Trump in a green golf cart with a white top dressed in his dark suit, red tie & business shoes.
Another of the photos shows President Trump in the same suit preparing to get out of the passenger side of a white golf cart with white top.
The last photo shows President Trump in the same dark suit & red tie with his arms wrapped around a tree while he stands behind it. The width of the tree is approx. 1/2 the width of Trump’s body & does not appear to offer much in terms of protection.
The temperature at the golf course at the time of the shooting was 95*. So if President Trump was indeed playing golf at the time of the shooting, what was he doing on the course dressed in a business suit, long-sleeved white business shirt with cuff links, tie, & business shoes?
I also find it most interesting that I cannot find these photos online anywhere at least not yet.
Assuming that the photos are legit, they raise far more questions than they answer as President Trump was clearly NOT dressed for golf, yet he was already on the 5th hole at the time of the shooting.
I have 2 questions:
#1 – Knowing that he was a felon, not allowed to have firearms, and seems intelligent, though crazy. I doubt he would take the risk of flying it. It’s perfectly legal to fly pistols, rifles on a plane, if properly declared and secured. Don’t know if any extra rules apply to an AR or AK. So, he either had one stashed, or was supplied on continent.
#2 – No way that Hannity nor Graham would have knowledge of an attempt, and bail on a golf game, without warning Trump. Loose lips, however, sink ships. Still, if the match was a spontaneous as reported, it would have to be a heck of a communications network to coordinate an offhand Hannity or Graham remark with a ready-to-go shooter. And, even if somehow the golf course clubhouse/Hannity/Graham’s phones were bugged, it’s a slim chance that both would turn Trump down.
I think it’s better to look elsewhere. Trump plays golf with enough regularity that – if this shooter had the means to keep track of Trump’s travels, and had the tenacity to wait out there for 12 hours or more, like a stubborn deer-stand hunter – maybe this wasn’t the first time this guy stalked Trump at Palm Beach? Obsessive people can be tenacious and surprisingly monomanical and resourceful.
Though…. what would have been his response to a papparazzo crowding into his nest unexpectedly? Make a deal to strap the interloper’s GoPro cam to the fence and sign an NDA?
