Ordinarily the opinions of one tech billionaire would, perhaps, not matter much to the life of an ordinary American. However, in this era of 2024 election and the Technocracy influence, maybe this interview discussion carries a different set of values.
Tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel, the founder of Palantir, an AI enhanced data processing system that streamlines the organization of technological surveillance methods, gives his views on a variety of current political aspects.
I find the interview as little interesting from a few perspectives. First, while generally supporting President Trump, Peter Thiel says he is choosing to stay out of the political influence game in the 2024 general election. Considering the scale of Thiels prior advocacy and specific action he undertook to put JD Vance into office and then into the VP nominee position for Trump – this decision to now ‘step back’ from 2024 seems a big disingenuous.
Second, and directly related to the first point, Thiel -through Palantir contracts- is now directly enmeshed in the Intelligence Community effort to capture and organize surveillance metadata of Americans. Perhaps, just perhaps, this new financial dependency plays a role in influencing his ‘step back’ decision. WATCH:
Other points worth noting relate to how Thiel outlines his perspectives on geopolitical events. When you look at Thiel’s communication abilities and perspectives it really shows you how shallow, small and generally naïve these top-tier influence agents can be.
You can see how there is a big difference between “theory” and practical reality or “practice.” Thiel waxes philosophically about how the human nature of leadership intersects with outcomes. Meanwhile, President Trump represents the practical application of geopolitical policy. Thiel’s thoughts are narrow and small. Trump’s thoughts are consequential, deep and can bring actionable results.
The contrast between Thiel and his co-panels’ theories, when overlaid against President Trump and his factual application of geopolitical leverage, pressure points, focused policy… and applied truthful/direct and brutally honest relationship presentation to world leaders -what Thiel calls “human agency”, really provides substance to the unique scale of Trump.
The “Thiel’s” of the world are talkers; Donald J Trump is a doer. Boy howdy does this discussion of smaller men showcase that dynamic.
Perhaps you can tell from my description that I really do not have any time/tolerance for the small-minded Technocrats that have assembled a power dynamic far beyond their ability.
The Chairman Xi and Vladimir Putin’s of the world look upon this crew of billionaire technocrats like western children allowed to play with very dangerous weapons. I find myself totally understanding why Xi/Putin hold this perspective view.
We are in a dangerous time in history. Technology has allowed a very specific segment of technically smart men and women to assemble power; essentially the technocracy class. However, these people do not have a solid grasp on the axiom that with great power comes great responsibility. They talk like children without care for even the elocution of their discussion points.
Leadership, true leadership, comes from a perspective of structural stability of the mind. Strong leadership has always been a lonely place for those who carry it.
Geopolitical power in an era of technocracy and the interconnectedness of social media platforms and global communication systems requires great internal discipline and mental stability.
President Trump carries the mental strength of powerful leadership combined with relatability that conveys his message to everyone. In many ways his uniqueness is within Trump’s ability to be a bridge between two eras. It is quite remarkable.

Thiel sounds too much like Zuck. Subconsciously Thiel has channeled Zuckerberg, His cadence, intonation, zero energy projection.
I lasted 4 minutes with Theil’s answer. It seemed very befuddled to me, like he’s avoiding the issue. The election isn’t important enough, isn’t binary enough, for him to make a clear choice? Does not hold water.
The federal government and IC have their claws stuck in him.
People who rise to his level don’t make a habit of muddy thinking. Something is causing him to be disingenuous.. He may well have a few skeletons he’s hiding,
Think Thiel was an FBI informant.
Men like him lose it all.
Yep! Take a look at Patrick Byrne formerly Overstock
https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurendebter/2019/08/22/the-exclusive-inside-story-of-the-fall-of-overstocks-mad-king-patrick-byrne/
They think they’re the smartest guy in the room, and find out later they aren’t. Unfortunately, while they reign, we’re at their mercy; I’ve called tech support before, so I know.
People are either unaware or have forgotten DARPA’s role in brining these boy geniuses to head up their cutouts… Theil – Paypal (uber financial surveillance tool) evolving into IC dragnet tool Palantir. Then there’s Gates – do you really believe the crap about building the world’s first “miniaturized” computer in a garage when IBM (a known skunkworks of Darpa) and Gate’s mommie are connected at the hip – not to mention his father being a Rocefeller tool eventually heading up the newly minted depopulation machine Planned Parenthood. And recent years DARPA stoled the scalability of Lider Technologies to spawn FaceBook from My Book placing Zuck at the helm. Also Eric Schmidt lead a team to developed Google the world’s first federated search engine – you believe that BS veneer on DARPA/DOD Vines network? Have you forgotten Schmidt conveniently stepped down, handing the reins to Sundar Pichai a snake who cannot hide his slime? Schmidt went directly to the CCP and with his team delivered the Social Scoring tool used to suppress and control the Chinese people that’s coming to your neighborhood soon. Don’t leave out the brilliance of Bezos with first the Dream Institute “a centre that promoted creative thinking in young students” while in high school…an early example of how DARPA recruited child genius. From fintech hedgefund analyst (mathematical modeling) to Amazon with just a BA from Princeton. The latest of the wonder boys is Elon – the elusive genius who has been the frontman for the PaperClip boys. This is all a testament to the American Dream and of how all things are possible with DARPA the founders of our Technocracy battling the centuries old globalist Oligarchs for control and we’re mere cannon fodder.
Yeah, It’s Thiel’s Palantir, Bezos’ AWS and his cloud(s) w/ Amazon ( Here Jeff..here’s a few Billion in gov’t contracts, run our backdoor cloud systems and while you’re at it? Buy the WaPo and talk s*** about “Trump” a lot – thanks ) and let’s not even start on wonder boy Musk – and his satellites and rockets. Wait! add rockets to Bezos’ government assistance activities, and well…
Forget the old definition of Fascism – now we have Corporatocracy.
add: I like that – the “paperclip boys”. The grandchildren run the Fourth Reich.
“Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power.” — Benito Mussolini
It seems to me the Social Credit Score is already here. All the doctors around Covid and anyone else who speaks out against the regime- censored, debanked, fired, etc. Extending to their families.
I suppose for Theil it really isn’t. Regardless of who wins, he’ll be just fine. As Sundance points out, these technocrats are so embedded (and mutally dependent) on the Federal Gov’t (IC?) that whoever sits at 1600 matters not a bit to them.
For us mere mortals the stakes couldn’t be higher – it’s only the Republic we’re talking about. When it’s gone, putting it back together again is going to be costly. That’s where, for all his intelligence, Theil is blindingly naive or hopelessly stupid. He thinks he’ll be in control of what comes next- he won’t.
He put Vance in as VP with Eric Schmidt. I doubt he won’t vote for Trump unless he believes Trump will die before or shortly after the election and his chosen boy will become president at 39.
I took it that he has issues with Trump but doesn’t want to be the subject of that 24-hour news cycle.
Thiel is knee deep in the scheme to link carbon-based life to the debt-based monetary system via a Bitcoin sidechain.
Debt From Above: The Carbon Credit Coup
https://unlimitedhangout.com/2024/04/investigative-reports/debt-from-above-the-carbon-credit-coup/
Latin America is quietly being forced into a carbon market scheme through regional contractual obligations – enforced by the satellites of a US intelligence-linked firm – which seeks to create an inter-continental “smart grid,” erode national and local sovereignty, and link carbon-based life to the debt-based monetary system via a Bitcoin sidechain.
Sweeping across the shores of Latin America comes a scheme from some of the most predatory figures in the venture capital ecosystem of the United States. It is a brazen attempt to assert foreign influence across Latin America and threatens to reshape the very fabric of the region and the day to day lives of its people. At its core is a serpentine set of contractual obligations, held at the municipal level, cast throughout Central and South America, upheld by an intelligence-linked satellite company, and controlled by a private sector consortium of green-washed financiers aiming to turn the region’s forests into equity and carbon credits. At the same time, it obliges local governments to spend “conservation” funds on projects that further financialize nature and aid the construction of an inter-continental “smart” grid. One of its key ambitions appears to be further entrenching the debt load of the region through the multi-lateral development banks and the dollarization of the continent from the subnational level up through carbon markets upheld by a digital ledger. What seems like a technological marvel aimed at progress and connectivity harbors a darker agenda — one that intertwines planetary surveillance, financial predation, geopolitical maneuvering, and the domination of a resource-rich continent buried in debt.
They will do this to Africa et al surrounding North America with this scheme. Ensnaring the U.S, with its resource rich land, being the ultimate goal. Vance IMO is the snake inserted by Thiel and his technocrats to plan the implementation of a similar scheme for the years after Trump. Cantor Fitzgerald, whose CEO is leading Trump’s transition team, is a major financing organization backing this scheme in Latin America and cannot be trusted either.
Man, evil never takes a holiday, does it? How do people come up with these SCHEMES; it’s DISGUSTING–and also quite SCARY!!! 🙁
Hubris, but like Narcissus they drown in their own reflection.
Only if WE hold their heads under the water
Sonsab!tches!
I’ve never really listened to Thiel before. He almost immediately reminded me of Zuckerberg, even in his speech dynamic….the hesitancy between words, the emphasis of other words, etc. in the way he delivers his answers. It’s almost like they went to the same speech coach.
They are cautious of wrongthink
“Same speech coach” … likely their own Corporate General Counsel’s pre-event guidance.
“When you look at Thiel’s communication abilities and perspectives it really shows you how shallow, small and generally naïve these top-tier influence agents can be.”
Before even reading your write up, and after having listened to the whole thing, I came to the same conclusions.
Having “grown up” in Silicon Valley and working there for over 20 years, I can tell you that the answer to some of the “questions” are really quite simple. Why hasn’t there been innovation in this country for so long? Simply because The Powers That Be decided to outsource the real work to other countries so they could enrich themselves, leaving Americans with no tools or jobs that matter. Simply because it was cheaper to import people and pay them less than half the going rate than to hire Americans to do their jobs. Why is everything made in China???? Because certain people got rich by exporting our jobs to the Chinese Communist Party. And now, we have a glut of goods that are inferior and defective, which in turn fills up our landfills. What a waste!!!! It’s disgusting.
Honestly, I don’t think the guy is that smart, or any one of the men on the panel. They learned one thing, how to make money with zero patriotism or sense of responsibility to America.
Yes, Trump gets it. And that’s why he’s so very popular. He never forgets the “little guy” while making money. He’s loyal and faithful to the country that enabled him to build wealth. He takes care of his employees. He has a heart.
Learn to code, you say? I did and I was good at it. But, my job was given to someone from India on a work visa.
And also… NVIDIA???? LOL.
Why not bring back chip manufacturing, electronics and battery manufacturing, to the United States and then maybe Taiwan would not be so important. I dunno. I’m just a farmer.
Please never think of yourself as “just a farmer.”
It is an extremely honorable profession … “dirty hands, clean money.”
As an evil man once said: “Control the oil, control the Nation. Control the food, control the people”.
One need only look at what happened at Holodomor when the Soviet Union thought it could replace the farmers. A lot of people starved.
It’s expensive to build the chip making facility. Think some are being built in the U.S. The government is throwing a lot of money at it.
I respect farmers. There’s no shortcuts / bullshitting unlike most professions. Think the country would be better off with more farmers in Congress.
Agree. Your situation is partially why I am a recovering globalist.
Years ago I was leading a merger integration effort and making recommendations to the buyer (acquirer) on who to keep and who to layoff. I’ll never forget interviewing two Indian nationals in Boston who begged me to recommend my client keep them. They said: “we’ll work for free just to stay.” They wound up on the layoff list; however, I was struck by their desperation. I often hear their voices in my head when I hear pampered young Americans talk about “minimal effort Mondays” … I miss American exceptionalism.
Heard a story that a group of employees were let go. They were provided an outplacement service. A speaker told them that they should consider IT because it’s in demand. They informed the speaker that they were the IT department and were replaced by Indians.
Excellent post!
Very well said!
Nothing new under the sun:
“Merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains.” — Thomas Jefferson
Preach it!
They’re all front men/women beholden to DARPA for their financial & continued “success.”
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
We’re their collective collateral damage. The broken eggs necessary to make the omelette.
The censorship industry is hedging it’s bets.
Trump is a multigenerational tower of strength.
The business leaders and bankers that are discussed here came to power with unique ideas that built large companies or in the bankers’ cases, they grew through buying up competitors. The Communists in our government wanted Big Companies and Big Banks. They are much easier to control. The jackboots only have to make one or 2 stops.
The Thiel’s, Gates’, and Powell’s of the world are little men. They are easily controlled. They do not want to lose the privilege they have acquired. Jobs of Apple worked on the Left Coast and had no lobbyists. The government began to meddle with Apple and Jobs hired scores of lobbyists and donated heavily to the party of Big Government control…..Democrat/Communists.
There are evil men in Big Tech and Big Banks. But most know the requests that Government make are nothing more than veiled ORDERS. The Lawfare and persecution of Trump is as much a warning to the wealthy to do what they are told as to actually put Trump in Jail. The little men of big tech and big banks hear the message clearly.
“The Chairman Xi and Vladimir Putin’s of the world look upon this crew of billionaire technocrats like western children allowed to play with very dangerous weapons.” The billionaire technocrats cannot call out the jackboots or send long range missiles to Ukraine. Who in the US is in control of these “little western children”? It is not Biden or Harris. It is not Mr Crease of His Suit.
Bill Gates did very little lobbying. It changed when the DOJ came after Microsoft for anti-trust issues. They were including their browser (Internet Explorer) in the operating system to outmaneuver Netscape. After becoming political, Gates had no more problems.
>>”The “Thiel’s” of the world are talkers; Donald J Trump is a doer.”
The doer and the thinker, no allowance for the other … – Jethro Tull, Thick as a Brick
And Kamala-mala-ding-dong is neither a thinker nor a doer. A feckless airhead DEI choice installed as candidate by the Central Committee of the Dimocrap party
Oh come on now, 20+millions illegal invaders accounting for for 20+million illegal ballots for that ignorant sow can’t be all wrong!
Sarc
DEI + slept her way up. Just sayin’ …
These are supposed to be the smart people and that is what they project to others because it gets them money and power.
So often with the elite it seems they mistake leadership with condescension.
Envision a disaster, people look for a leader, not a talker or a grifter.
Bill Gates thinks he’s the smartest guy in the world. Thinks he should run the world. In reality these guys came up with a piece of code at the right place at the right time. That’s the end of their intelligence!
He’s certainly not the smartest, but may be the sleaziest, most underhanded eugenicist around. I worked for IBM at the time they first came out with the IBM PC, and without them, he’d still be playing with his DOS code and himself.
Don’t think Gates wrote code. He bought the original MS-DOS from a retired military guy. His Mom was on a board with the CEO of IBM. She asked him if he could help Bill. And he told his executives to do what they could for him. At the time, there was a competitor operating system. IBM paid Gates even if the buyer chose the competitor system.
Interesting fun fact – Xerox was the originator of the Windows interface, which started with the Apple Macintosh. Xerox abandoned it.
Call them leaders? Really? SD’s essay is so on point, but I find an 2 exceptions in these genius leaders:
After listening to them, reading their demands and their writings:
they do not know or understand basic human nature. It seems they imagine more than even try to learn this great lack.
We just do not obey properly?
They cannot see sinful man and his search for a real purpose.
The other greater lack is a complete soulless view of the universe. There cannot be a God (Creator, Savior, FaithGiver)
because it diminishes their self. Hmm….
Do these folks even ask what comes after their next idea?
I also see the conflict between these tech guys and Trump. Trump has HEART! These talking tech people don’t seem to have heart.
Also, I see that Trump is working with JD to advance him to have HEART! If he develops HEART then he will switch away from these Big Head Tech “thinkers” “Junkie’s”.
Now the 3rd aspect is WILL. Trump has Heart and WILL , these tech guys don’t have Heart but Head and Will. They are missing HEART!
What is a human without empathy … a very, very dangerous human! AI and these tech idiots need to be treated as “children” playing with matches. They could burn the place down.
Can JD advance to be above these “tech people”. I don’t know, JD’s eyes are dark to me, can his HEART open. I don’t know. Maybe Trump will rub off on him and be a good teacher for him. I hope so.
JD is a Lilliputian compared to Trump, a Titan.
JD is a Pence.
Pence was a two-faced politian, I felt that immediately, I could see it in the vp debate. (Pence hated Trump!) Pence’s wife couldn’t even look at TRUMP without feeling like vomiting! She had a terrible time being with Trump! Interesting to watch her.
Sessions was a COWARD! Sessions didn’t have the backbone to Stand up to what is right. I saw that in the Senate when the Dems questioned him about being the VP. I saw the moment Sessions cracked. He couldn’t take the pressure! I got the feeling Sessions tried to hide under the desk . The coward did NOT tell Trump that he would recuse himself, he didn’t have the courage to tell Trump what he had made up his mind to do.
JD is not Pence or Sessions. The jury is still out for JD! Hopefully Trump will teach JD to follow the HEART (no matter what). It takes Courage and it comes from prayer and mediation and willingness that GOD’S Will be done. Trump sees something in JD, that is why Trump picked him. It needs to be nurtured and developed. Trump had to pick from what was available to him. Trump does mediate and pray pretty hard now, the first term taught him to stay close to GOD. And Trump SEES deeper now … I am very impressed with Trump! Very impressed. As an aside … Trump’s good sense of humor comes from hanging out with GOD! That is one of the signs of a person who hangs with GOD. The humor. Of course that is just one of the signs. Trump also displays other signs too.
I am a child compared to Trump! We all have much to learn from Trump.
JD hasnt screwed you yet, so you have the view of hopefully great stuff.
thats it. if you arent personally wealthy and have a personal war to fight, you can’t survive in that swamp without your soul rotting out.
Rumor has it that there was a move to remove Trump as President. Eventually, Pence backed out. His wife was furious.
Since ind journalists uncovered Peter Theil’s unholy alliance with NSA and CIA, I’ve been suspect of this man particularly his support of Trump, his shift to the DeSantes bunch and now back to Trump as though that never happened. Theil is the “genius” who created Palantir – the surveillance package that also manages all those rat lines of black projects and human trafficking. Leopard never change their spots and this snake can’t seem to shed his.
Remember back when the left was staunchly against censorship and surveillance? Read what they had to say back in Feb of 2017. https://theintercept.com/2017/02/22/how-peter-thiels-palantir-helped-the-nsa-spy-on-the-whole-world/

Have heard that Thiel was an FBI Informant.
Thank you, Sundance!
I love how you called him/others … “agents”. nice read sundance.
The other day I tried to listen to this Peter Theil interview on the all-in-podcast and around 12 or so minutes in realized he was saying a lot of words without saying anything; so turned it off.
Agree 100% with your description.
Then I read this comment by @unseen1_unseen the other day, it is perfectly on point with what President Trump will be dealing with, so if we are fortunate that PDJT is inaugurated in January 2025, and being the Boss that he is, President Trump will know exactly how to utilize these tech billionaires to put together the right teams to get the ball rolling for what our country needs to get done.
This is what @unseen1_unseen posted:
“If Trump wins, he will be handed a country in basically a depression for a majority of the people; on the brink or actually in WW3; a wide-open border and a 5th column of millions of anti-American military aged men within that border; a deteriorating military; a nation so in debt it will struggle to raise capital; a country with fragile supply lines for most of the goods it needs; a divided population with half-brainwashed by the media to hate the concepts the country was founded on, and a government staffed with people who will be actively fighting everything he does. Pray for our country because regardless of who wins, it’s going to be a long, hard fight to keep this country together, let alone make it great again.”
So figure if the Thiel’s, Musk’s, Kennedy’s, etc. are up to helping President Trump deal with the challenges unseen1 so elegantly outlined, that will be a Win.
Musk may be the only one that can put his ego aside for the greater cause. The other two aren’t even at the VSG level although they think they are.
” … realized he was saying a lot of words without saying anything;”
Must be a graduate of the Kamala Harris School of Public Speaking and Salad Bar”?
Anyone else noticed that Narya Capital launched by JD Vance, and supported by Peter Thiel and others appears to be another Lord of the Rings reference?
I hadn’t. Interesting.
Narya was described as having the power to inspire others to resist tyranny, domination and despair…
It is a cult within the tech industry; or so I’ve seen mentioned across various platforms, and not a healthy one at all, very doomsday ideology running throughout it. If I can remember where I’d read those links will come back and post links in the reply.
Where is the chapter that contains this as outlined at the link below which has embedded video of the associated segment?
Peter Thiel says if the 2024 election is close, Kamala Harris will cheat to STEAL it. He’s also joining people like Elon Musk and calling for strict Voter ID, in-person election-day voting, & heavy restrictions on mail-in voting “They will cheat. They will fortify it. They will steal the ballots.” “At a minimum, you’d try to run elections the same way you do it in every other Western democracy. You have one day voting. You have practically no absentee ballots… It’s not this two-month elongated process.”
https://www.malone.news/p/sunday-strip-look-over-there-40b
Here it is, cued to that part:
Ah, so he claims our election process security has decayed “over the last 20, 30 years.”
Could that be a factor in the evolution of Congressional majority swings into a much closer power sharing setup by the UniParty? FAR too many CONgressmen to bribe to change their vote with the former large control swings? Click to enlarge:
Those “bribes” being of the legal kind: pork barrel projects, etc.
Article in American Thinker.
After Reagans total landslide win, Democrats decided on methods to stay close… which have evolved as ways and means to steal with fraud.
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2024/09/ronald_reagan_was_the_catalyst_for_the_democrat_cheating_machine.html
Great statement. The Democrats could have chosen policies that are more popular with the American People and policies that make a positive impact. But instead they chose more socialism. Socialists/Communists always chose more policies that are unfavorable to their citizens. Then they resort to force. Think Cuba, think Venezuela. We either vote or way out of this with Trump or you know the thing.
That 20-30 years of election process security decay intersects exactly with the promotion and implementation of voting ‘machines’ and software, led by Georgia with Diebold and a former Georgia SOS, Cathy Cox, circa 2002-04 after the ‘hanging chads’ false flag.
The machines and software have got to go!
It’s a cheating/cheating prevention conflict, which also explains the statistically unlikely number of extremely close races. Just enough cheating, but no more? Can’t be changed because the states control voting, voter rolls, etc. and the Dim states prefer it the way it is.
Good point
President Trump is an enhancer. The others, or most, seek not to enhance but to fix or make. Case in point, MAGA, President Trump, wants to make America for the people by improving freedoms, abilities, and opportunities. MAHA, one example, is to make America a healthier place. So given that President Trump is for the people while others try to change. That’s pretty much all of them. They consider themselves the key keepers while President Trump offers a door.
A person’s politics in public is always in line with the man who signs his pay checks.
Thiel is no different than anybody else.
Cali Joe: The gubmint signs Thiel’s paychecks.
Exactly. He won’t disrupt Leviathan in any way.
All – we’re going to need this in order to save the Republic….The Sting (3/10) Movie CLIP – A Game of Jacks (1973) HD (youtube.com)…per this sites key commentary, this is not an election, it’s a cold civil war under the pretense of ballot counting….hopeful we will be crossing the Delaware to hold on to the Union
It’s because of Thiel’s tutelage that I don’t trust Vance.
#1 Thiel is on board with the surveillance state as he created much of it. #2. Like a politician he talks a lot but never gets around to the actual root problem. You aren’t going to get much innovation when you don’t manufacture things. He never gets there, he just does the word salad like Kamala.
Aside from the fact that we manufacture very little, what we do produce is highly financialized. The concept of what a company was understood to be in the 1970s and prior was an organization that produced needed goods and services to its’ customers for a profit. Now the definition of a company in the U.S. is an organization that transfers money from the government, venture capitalists and Wall Street to “Primary Stakeholders” customers have been replaced and are an afterthought.
For example: Lockheed Martin gets a government contract for about $100,000,000, for a single aircraft. That aircraft does not perform per specifications and in many cases can’t even fly very often due to ridiculous maintenance schedules. It has also been shown that in the best of conditions the aircraft cannot meet its’ mission set requirements in many cases. However that is a home run for Lockheed. All of the important people got paid.
This. 50-60 years ago our economy was 30% manufacturing, and 10% FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate).
Today, those numbers are reversed. We have willingly allowed these monsters to destroy our real economy, and condemned our children to a bleak future, ruled by fascists.
When CEO earning were primarily via salary, they weren’t aligned with the shareholders. By issuing them stock options, they were now in the same shoes as their wealthy stockholders.
with respect, SD, Thiel may not be shallow but just a consummate bullshit artist/faker.
Not like Mark Cuban, who seems to be a true idiot, who just got lucky selling his crap tech company at the exact right time, but more like a sneaky genius type, who pretends to be a shallow, vainglorious pseudo-intellectual but who is actually a calculating bastard.
it seems more and more plausible that the Deep State has groomed a shitload of out tech and political ‘leaders’ from a young age and tailored them according to personality archtypes. Vivek, Mayor Pete, kamala, Tulsi maybe Thiel, Vance. All sharing some elements of the ultimate Deep State creation: Obama.
Tulsi, Vivek and Vance don’t belong in that group. Many (some?) people can go through an indoctrination procedure and they never fall for it. Some people are weak minded or greedy , others are not, no matter how big a payoff is being promised.
Those 3 are poster children of that group.
Tulsi might have some sincerity, the other 2 are pure whores.
Absolutely all 3 belong. Tulsi is a socialist. She endorsed Bernie in 2020. Vivek is a fraud. Vance is owned by Thiel. Re Vivek recommend this article. It’s egregious.
https://www.newsweek.com/vivek-ramaswamy-fraud-always-has-been-opinion-1823853
More verbal diarrhea from a spineless, globalist, elitist beta cuck. It almost seems like he thinks he knows the end results, it’s what his technology dictates. In essence he knows Jack sh*t.
These billionaire masters of the universe are tiresome.
Yes, we get tired quite fast of people like Thiel, and Bobby me, me , me. Trump is someone I never tire of.
Peter Thiel, interview with Tucker Carson: Competition and capitalism are opposites: competition competes away the accumulated profits needed to invest in improving and expanding a business. Competition is for losers.
Thiel in his famous 2014 WSJ essay: In a static world, a monopolist is just a rent collector. …But the world we live in is dynamic: …Creative monopolies are powerful engines for making [society] better.
So why are economists obsessed with competition as an ideal state? It is a relic of history. Economists copied their mathematics from the work of 19th-century physicists: They see individuals and businesses as interchangeable atoms, not as unique creators.
So, how’s that ever-increasing “creative” monopolization working out for us? …
(24:03) Innovation stagnation in the US
(29:42) Thoughts on the current state of the US economy
Now I truly hate this Thiel cretin.
Any coincidence that the WEF says its Great Reset promotes “Monopolistic Capitalism”. Thiel is all in.
The man is making his living off of selling AI to consumers, most notably the Deep State. I do think Vance is using this buffoon and not the other way around. At least for this election cycle. A deep dive into Vance’s actual background and most profound personal beliefs will be in order before I ever want to see Vance campaigning for any positions other than the sidekick of Trump. Trump should keep Vance very close at hand so he can see the first signs that Vance is playing for the bad guys of the Uni-Party crown.
I have one axiom for politics: It is advisable to be highly skeptical of anyone who seems to come from nowhere to the big stage of the campaign. I am still skeptical about JD Vance. Peter Thiel even wrote an endorsement of Vance’s supposedly autobiographical book “Hillbilly Elegy”, which I am reading right now. I am well into the book and I am not convinced of its veracity yet.

Tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel, the founder of Palantir, an AI enhanced data processing system that streamlines the organization of technological surveillance methods
We don’t need more meddling. It started with HSA and look where that’s led us. Regarding China and Taiwan, More ambiguity is better? Really? Look where Obiden’s abiguity was gotten us. I’m really sick of the new world order clones who have collectively decided what’s best for us.
Theil stating if it is close Harris/Dems will cheat. He also calls for voter id

from what you wrote I gather that Thiel is likely finding himself at odds with a Vance who perhaps only used him for his money to get to where is and is now on Team Trump not Team Thiel (time will tell)
and as far as Thiel and Trump goes I believe the animosity is a two way street and Trump likely told Thiel to jump off a bridge and would not entertain becoming bed fellows.
So Thiel is nose bent with out a horse.
Vance was a loud and outspoken Never Trumper. Thiel got him the VP position. Thiel has always been a Trump backer.
Trump is a “doer”. Trump was in the construction business and hospitality business. Its like manufacturing. You are either making a good product or you are not. The customers vote with their dollars and walk if not satisfied. The whole Democrat Party is based on “talk”. They say it and it is………except we are living the inflation, we are living the crime, we know what a woman is, we know that DEI leads to chaos, we know open borders means no country, we know America is not a racist society. The folks that judge people by their skin color are the racists.
Placing a person in a job they are not qualified to do…..makes them a Slave. There is only One Party of Slavery in the United States.
I did not care what color their skin was if they could do the job. Heck, nowadays I probably would ignore the tats, the piercings, and the multicolored hair!
This man, a billionaire who has made billions in technology, is surprisingly uncommunicative. It is difficult to come away from the interview feeling like you have learned anything at all from him.
His reason for not financially backing Trump or getting involved in the election was surprisingly lame: it was one rationalization after another. Just a series of lame excuses. That made me think he has a definite reason for not being involved that he isn’t discussing openly.
The moderator praised his previous candor in previous panels. I didn’t see a whole lot of candor. I saw him sound like someone who didn’t want to be quoted; he searched for words as if he couldn’t find the safest out that would get him off the hot seat, no matter what the question. Here he makes a gazillion dollars out of high tech and had no coherent answer to “How would you define Ai?” And he certainly had no coherent answer re: where to invest when it comes to technology.
Actually this man impressed me not just with being a talker, as Sundance said but actually using talk that is not revealing, but a wall of words to keep people out. He babbled the entire time, from one question to the next.
I realize one reason Sundance was not impressed: his character. This man appears to really lack a meaningful purpose in his life. He has no real understanding about what he is contributing to the world, if he is contributing to the world. I actually am doubting that he is someone who has made or can make a contribution to his fellow man.
It’s as if his humanness, either his knowledge of his strengths and weaknesses is missing or he has to keep it hidden, and thus he appears like an empty shell of a man.
In times of difficulty and stress in the world, we yearn for men and women of substance, men and women who can inspire us to get perspective on the difficulties, and to share the work of making things better. Instead we are treated to a series of faux “leaders.” Whether that is Thiel or Kamala Harris, the Clintons, the Obamas, the Bidens, the 51 spies who lied, Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, Valerie Jarrett, Ben Rhodes, the whole sorry bunch of idiocrats who believe themselves uniquely gifted to run the world.
Thiel is a sad testament that riches buy nothing of real value.
One thing that guides my thinking about Ai: Remember, this is about simulating human learning but not learning based upon experience in life, learning of facts that are programmable facts. That is all it is. You can program a computer to answer facts faster than a human can. That has nothing at all to do with replacing human beings.
The brain is not just a repository for facts: it is a sublime human emotion processing organ. The brain processes human emotions in utero and from that point onward until one’s death. You cannot program any computer to do that! No humans will be replaced.
Facts can be programmed, but thinking cannot, because human thinking is organized not by facts, but by emotions. All learning is emotional learning. Programming a computer to “know” facts is not the same thing.
Thiel doesn’t seem to have a clue about the difference between a human and a computer. It was the mind of man that created the computer, not the other way around.
Thank you Sundance.
Eve, so true, “Remember, this is about simulating human learning but not learning based upon experience in life,”
I disagree abput your statement ” because human thinking is organized not by facts, but by emotions. All learning is emotional learning.”
‘Learning’ IMO, is an Accumulation of Facts that have been ‘absorbed’ by Experiences. Critical Thinking (which many have abandoned BECAUSE houses of Learning have been hi-jacked by Teachers of Emotion) rather than presentation of Facts & History, results in a Society reacting quickly, rather than a critical ‘review’ in the mind, to see if that accepts or rejects what past experience ‘prompts’. I would like to have expressed this better.
Every man on that stage a side from Jason C. is a self made billionaire, and I’ve listened to their podcast every Friday for years now, ever since my son (who has worked for current Republican state treasurer, in venture capital, and now finance and AI) turned me on to them. To say they are talkers and not doers is ridiculous. Even Democrat Jason C. has made over a hundred million from humble beginnings.
They are a politically diverse group, but three of four are supporting Trump, which is something for Silicon Valley leaders who are known and listened to by all the big names in tech.
Sundance is my favorite blogger and The Conservative Treehouse a place I visit multiple times each day, but the purity tests are unrealistic.
I agree Thiel himself is an odd character, who has delved deep into personal investment into specific Republican candidate support. I of course expect this is a mix of his ideology and personal financial interest. David Sacks seems legit in his America First instincts, though he is of course also swayed by personal interest. We all are. I’m afraid Sundance sometimes shrinks the tent to maybe 1/2 the readers of the Treehouse. A better discussion might be how to accept and incorporate these Silicon Valley interests and other power centers (education, unions, media, etc) into Make America Great Again.
They are already incorporated into sticking their greedy snouts in the government trough, to get rich. Take government away, and what are they? Ask yourself that.
They wouldn’t be actively destroying the Constitution and helping the fascists enslave US, that I can tell you.
Your buddies need to be fired into the sun. All of them.
They are groomed and purchased. Remember the movie about Steve Jobs? How his garage start up Apple was approached by “Angel Investors” who disappeared with him behind closed doors with an offer too good to refuse? That was the CIA’s black books funding team. “Investing” in a promising new company that serves their greater global enterprise agenda, i.e. racket.
The same “investors” approached Zuck at nascent TheFacebook, Bezos at nascent Amazon, Gates at nascent Microsoft (though his family was already a part of the club). And notice after every “Angel Investor” visit with the main driver of the start-ups the other partners are shoved out the door.
These men are most definitely NOT self-made success stories. Unless by “success” you mean selling out to criminal government black operations and being rewarded handsomely for it.
Even David Sacks’ start-up PayPal with his fellow “PayPal Mafia” co-owners Peter Thiel and Elon Musk was an Angel Investor CIA black op, all of the men already in the club.
David Sacks is one of the leading voices against the CIA and their meddling in Ukraine. Explain.
PayPal was created to replace the dollar according to Whitney Webb.
And the Lord can shut it all down in the blink of an eye. Most people forget that He doesn’t work by our timeline. We work by His. ⏰ 🙏😇
I have worked with all these guys for years – including Thiel and his brethren. When Sundance said, “However, these people do not have a solid grasp on the axiom that with great power comes great responsibility. They talk like children without care for even the elocution of their discussion points.”, he hit the nail on the head. In most cases, their success comes from being at the right place at the right time. They are bright but not necessarily more intelligent than anyone else. In tech, yes, perhaps. In being a successful salesman, definitely. In having more wisdom, rarely. We are making demigods out of people who are highly flawed human beings. It is a dangerous time indeed.
The cabal has collateral on Peter. Not sure what that is.
Thiel was an FBI informant.
My thoughts listening to the interview was he will not be greatly impacted by the election so not worth getting in the fight….nothing to lose by remaining nuetral
Regardless of this rather negative introduction I found the public acknowledgment and seeming agreement from the audience of both the Stolen Election and the massive cheating expected this cycle refreshing.
Silicon Valley, for all its “creative” reputation, is still suffocatingly conformist.
Sacks (far right) is always the adult in the All-In room and when he threw in for Trump months ago, it gave Jason (host, left) permission to finally lighten up on his perpetual need to boot-lick the left. Jason is terrified of offending leftie. But, it’s interesting to watch them all moving rightwards, especially in reaction to the growing lawfare abuse. That really lit a fire under some of their butts.
Trump, on the other hand, doesn’t give a damn what anyone thinks of him and never has. Trump’s peers suck, he knows it, and he makes a point of NOT letting peoples’ opinion of him stop him. Jason mistakenly perceives Trump’s thick skin as being “authoritarian” which is a ridiculous conclusion to come to unless you are a progressive burdened with “people are all alike” fairytale filters. Trump understands human nature (hell, he doesn’t even have to think about it!) And that’s the world of Putin and Xi.
Remember how silly Obama acted when he visited Putin? And how self-absorbed he was with the late Queen, continuing to pontificate over their anthem? Or lecturing Parliament about Brexit? Or how he lectured Nigeria about gay rights? Just imagine Kamala in his place … Our entire managerial class is completely out of its league. If we don’t get rid of them, some other nation will be doing it for us.
Thank you, Sundance, for drawing attention to the recent public disappearance of Thiel. I have wondered where he was, especially in light of the fact that so many other hi-tech and VC elites have thrown their support to Trump in a public way this go around. Even Newsom’s wife’s family hosted a fundraiser for Trump this past week. Curiouser and curiouser
Thiel would be at the heart of an October Surprise, if it pops. He probably wants to lay low right now, as his stooge Vance would likely be involved somehow.
Smaller men. That is one of Americas problems brought on by the mainstream media. No tough questions, no investigations, no follow ups or challenging positions emboldens smaller men to become even smaller and weak. Then we end up with PT. It is an addiction where the media relies on these weak people, sells their incompetence, and causes the weak to become addicted to the softball media. MDS Media Dependency Syndrome.
If you haven’t already noticed, those who get the rough treatment from the media gain an ability to grow and become strong. JD Vance may have grown out of the weak orbit of PT and maybe PT feels betrayed or has lost love because JDV has left him.
Waiting for approval again. ???
Maybe Vance is a head of cattle with Thiel’s brand on his butt and Trump has no respect for unaccomplished livestock.
Thiel’s responses to questions about going to war to “save democracies”, should it come to that, seem to be those of one who would play to Not Lose rather than those of one with the drive and desire to WIN. When you are so wealthy that all you care about is saving your own ass rather than the system, nation and people that made you so wealthy, then you should either avoid pontificating about such matters. As for Thiel’s views vs Trump’s, while Trump did inherit some money from his father, his fortune came from taking extraordinary risks in a business that is as old as civilization, is fraught with risk in a city that eats RE developers and investors for breakfast while Thiel was a talented geek in an industry that is not much older than he is who created a product for an industry that was long past ripe for disruption when he created PayPal. He then repeated that pattern in other industries. They are completely different individuals with radically different ideas about what it takes to build and grow a business.
And, compared to the alternative; a complete moron who knows NOTHING about the business she’s in, let alone a business where payrolls MUST be met, Taxes MUST be paid and products MUST be delivered, it isn’t even a choice for a person with an IQ greater than his body temperature.
It seems somehow telling that there is a large pile of poker chips on the table, though I’m not sure what it tells us.
I share your previously voiced concern over this man’s connection with J.D. Vance. You stated previously that Vance’s change from “never Trumper” to a Trump supporter coincided chronologically with Thiel’s new connection with the Intelligence Community. That lends itself to a conclusion that Vance may be an IC Trojan Horse.
“Beware the Ides of March!” “Et tu, Brute?”
Peter Thiel and his buddy, Eric Schmidt, both are on the board of the Bilderberg Group. Some 40 or 50 years ago, Phyllis Schlafly said in speeches as well as in her book, A Choice, Not an Echo, that no Vice President is ever chosen except by the Bilderbergers. Fair enough! Thiel and Schmidt introduced Vance to Trump after getting rid of Vance’s TDS.
Do I trust Vance? The answer is a resounding, “Hell no.”
If anyone has ever listened to investigative reporter, John Judge on the Reagan assassination attempt, you know there were two shooters, not just Hinckley.
There have always been two shooters.
But what did Reagan do after only two months in office and being shot? He turned the job over to H.W. Bush and he and Nancy went to Camp David and watched old movies for 8 years.
Do you think that Trump got the message that if he wants to be president and wants to live, that he needs to do as Reagan did? I highly doubt it. And there are far too many negatives with Vance.
Then again, will the power brokers even allow Trump to be elected? They want the country finished off within the next four years…they want us destitute and destroyed and they want the illegal aliens running roughshod over the landscape. Don’t doubt their intentions.
I also believe they’ll try again to kill Trump…a man of many foibles, but a man who truly loved his country and her people.
You go to any Trump rally, ask these same questions of any attendee and their answers would be more intelligible, forthcoming, well reasoned and spoken in decent English not some broken down, halting speech pattern.
Not worth interviewing much less listening to it.
Peter Thiel has lots of gay friends who will excommunicate him if he comes out for Trump publicly.
Thiel supported Trump in 2016 and I assume 2020.
he’s just another oligarch…….either protagonist or antagonist ……
Men without chests.
