Awww, AP. What a lovely, lovely painting.
My daughter is an auburn, with curly long hair that has its own zip code, with the lightest ivory complexion and the rosiest of cheeks. Her reflection reminds me of an old German children’s book of my youth, “Snow White and Rose Red”… she being Rose Red.
Last year, I posted a prom picture… but she had attempted a spray tan in preparation for her Grecian gown for the masquerade event. Funny as the spray tan didn’t go over so well and it prompted a silly reference to this… to which we howled in laughter together and with our Treepers.
We’ve since determined… the Lord’s choice in complexions are way better!
