Apparently, if RFK Jr is to be believed, he intends to defy any constraints or limits put on him by President Trump should he win the 2024 election.

I don’t remember who it was but someone on another thread recommended reading the book of Habakkuk in the Bible. It’s a very short book with only 3 brief chapters but that short little part of the Bible is chock full of wisdom. Kennedy is an enigma and what you have pointed out is not wise on his end IF his goal is to help elect P Trump and then work with him on MAHA. I dunno, I didn’t take the video comments quite the same; I think he was smart in knowing his views would clash with Trump on some issues and that he wasn’t one that would back down from his views, and neither is Trump. That would be a big problem not just campaigning but like he said if Trump were to remove his budget he basically would be doing nothing which for him is not what he wants to do.

Kennedy asking his supporters to vote for Trump does not necessarily mean that they will.
The “ask” is what matters in that context.
RFK is a polarizing figure that may be the only point upon which most here agree. To such a degree that people are questioning his sincerity regarding his very publicly asking that his supporters “vote for President Trump”.
How does that work? Twisting that into an “anti-POTUS” sentiment only works when using pretzel logic.
His voters have already expressed they will NEVER vote Trump. They believe Jr used them bc he needed their money to get on more ballots. His supporters are writing in a name for POTUS and voting down ballot.

I think a takeaway from this situation, and it relates to the many many many other people who’ve betrayed President Trump , yet he’s taken them back into the fold…is how trusting and forgiving and mature President Trump really is.

Lying Harris had said initially only one debate. She is too indecisive and fickle. If Trump agrees to a second debate with Harris, I surely hope it will be under Trump’s terms. Mainstream media to Moderate another Trump debate…. HELL TO THE NO! Trump best to walk away. However, perhaps NewsMax or Fox Cable News will convey fairness. I believe these two network’s, Moderators, will act more so as facilitators and not as participants toward Trump. He should not subject himself once again to a lying, hostile environment.
Another debate where there is a moderator with long-time connections with Trump this time, where only Harris is fact-checked and asked to remain within their subject guardrails, where Trump is given some advance notice of questions or can dictate them if proof can be established that it happened with Harris. No earpieces or other devices allowed. Maybe a live audience, too, and as someone else suggested, short notice.

PDT brought RFK on board to suck up his Voters. After the Election, PDT can give RFK some task force job of somekind and a staff/small budget to keep him occupied. If he gets too uppity or starts interfering in things, get rid of him ASAP
Keep ALL communications with him PUBLIC (as in, always another PDT person in the room, on the phone, etc). Do NOT let him in on ANY kind of strategy or inside information. Keep him at arm’s length AND with a “minder” of sorts who controls his access/$$, etc to keep him in line

If we can win without needing “help” from RFK Jr or a few others that we sometimes have questions about, then fine. If we can go it alone, and Trump can still win, yep, let’s do it that way. But if not? If we NEED the “help” from these people? That’s an easy call. ACCEPT their help… period. But then, once Trump is officially in office, each and every one of them are on the shortest leash imaginable.
But first we gotta win! If we don’t then all our worries and questions about these people will be irrelevant.

Yeah, I’m really not terribly religious but I think you’re right. I know for a fact what we saw on July 13th was a MIRACLE and I absolutely give God credit for that. So part of my reason for being okay with Trump working closely with RFK Jr and others is that we have to assume his (Trump’s) judgment has improved in recent years… and if that judgement is connected to God in some ways, even better.
Here in the year 2024, I sometimes get the feeling I’m watching the BBC television series I, Claudius from 1976.
Who should a conscientious leader of a nation be trusting, and why? How does such a leader assess the character and true intentions of those who are currying his favor?
After the election, if PDJT is once again our president, RFK Jr. must be told in no uncertain terms that if he strays outside his assigned lane of making America healthy again, he will be shown the door forthwith.

Possible reason Bobby Jr sometimes says stuff that sounds less that 100% positive regarding Trump:
He’s trying to reassure his supporters that he will NOT change some of his views or promises, even if President Trump wants him to. There are certain things he’s determined to do, or not do, and if a problem between him and Trump ever arose, then rather than change he would quit (or accept being fired).
And if his supporters need that reassurance in order to fully support Trump, then I’m okay with that.

The part that does bother me though, is RFK constantly saying shit like “The President told me this” and “told me that” and proceeds to say things that we have never heard PDJT say. I became immediately and seriously suspicious of Jr. when, during his press conference announcing his support of PDJT, he carefully explained that he was merely suspending his campaign, not ending it, because he imagined an electoral college scenario by which he could win the presidency as a compromise candidate in a House vote.
In brief and clear English, he announced that he would support PDJT, but only to the point where he might have a chance to steal the election. Then, he would jump from the PDJT ship and fight for himself.
Perhaps the positive shock value of his endorsement gift was/is deemed more valuable by PDJT than the potential political treachery in which it is wrapped.
I continue to strongly sense that Jr.’s ego is a continuing threat to PDJT, especially if Jr. is given a very visible job after an election victory.
