My reply was not about the movie. The term ‘steel magnolia’ has been used to describe strong, southern women for as long as I can remember and certainly long before they movie decided to use it as their title.

I find SOME women over the age of… I don’t know . . . 75…80+ see what it means to be a wife:mother/individual/woman vis a different perspective.
It isn’t a matter of right versus wrong as much as looking at things through a different perspective.

Eastern European women were raised to accept that men will die. Their fathers, brothers, husband and sons will be sent to wars and will die. It is a very unique evolution of women in this region.

IT’s not a cold or callous outlook, ultimately it is a very pragmatic perspective that just manifests as a brutally cold independence.

…both the graves of Southerners and the men from the North…much respect for the fallen of our nation.

Slovenian women are often quite beautiful, and almost always mentally tough as nails. President Trump couldn’t have asked for a better partner for his fight to regain his stolen Presidency. I think the world of Melania Trump…but I would NOT want to have her angry with me.
They rolled the red carpet out for Hillary, Michelle, Jill, and Kamala. They were fawned over, swooned over, and celebrated.
At the beginning of this journey for the Trump family I am sure that they hoped that they would be treated professionally but that hope did not last to the bottom of the escalator.
Mrs. Trump was derided from that moment on. They brought out all sorts of famous designers (including Tom Ford) who said that they would never, ever design clothing for Melania because she is so horrid. Fashion magazines proudly proclaimed that she and her grossness would never grace their magazine covers.
No one, not one of them, had a polite nor professional, fawning type interview of her. Every article spoke about how gross, wretched, and horrible she is.
She re-did the Rose Garden in the non-blooming season and the media insulted her. They took pictures of the garden before it had a chance to bloom and grow and insulted her.
She put up beautiful Christmas decor in the tradition of Eastern European elegance and they maligned her.
They have done nothing but be horrid to her and her family and you don’t even bother to wonder why she kept her minor son away from them. They would have bullied him into submission. You do not know if Barron told her that he prefers to remain away from the jackals in the media. He only turned 18 a few months ago.
Melania and PDJT gave the hyenas out there in the media a chance to be professional and the media chose to go on a pack attack again and again.

As a have gotten older and can appreciate my Catholic upbringing, I find that I care a lot less about what people think of decisions I’ve made especially when I feel the decision is between me & God. I was fiercely against getting va xxed and took an incredible amount of heat and disdain because I wouldn’t “go along to get along.”

I think there is a LOT more to DJT than money – he is an extremely interesting man and FUNNY – even those who don’t love him have to admit that so it’s shallow to dismiss him simply as “rich”.
