This man picked it up and said look at that price and then the woman that I thought was with him said you know you have a vote. And I looked at her and I said yeah Trump and she just smiled. She was so happy that someone else in Asheville North Carolina supported Trump. The man just walked away haha.

I have noticed that there are no yard signs, bumper stickers in my area. Previously neighbors had candidates signs some numerous planted in their yards. There was an acreage that had a billboard all are missing in this go around. Vandalism of this billboard was frequent. Is this local or wider?
I have only seen signs for local candidates which are democrats. I live in El Paso, Texas which is blue.
Even in NE FL, no Trump signs in my area.
Previous years there were tons of Trump signs, and one or two “Hillary” or “Joe” signs.
Someone put a Trump sign up a couple months ago, but it’s gone now.
People have the heebie jeebies about Political Signs this year, I guess.

During the great hoax of 2020/2021 I drove across the country and back. A majority of the states west of the Mississippi had mask requirements – to the point that in some states they actually had signs on the interstate stating masks were required.
I never wore a mask, not for one second. Went in gas stations, convenience stores, and restaurants. Not a single person said a word to me, even with as rabid as some of the leftists were. Did get some looks and in some cases people made avoidance maneuvers – but no words. There were even a couple that took their masks off as a result.
The point – the vast majority of the people aren’t near as vocal or brave in person as they are online. Those who would rule want you to be too afraid and unwilling to stand – don’t give in to them, live your life, stand up for what you believe in, wear whatever you want. Help to spark others in a positive way. You’ll be amazed at the support and discussions that you will invoke. Note – this doesn’t mean when you are by yourself wearing one in the middle of an antifa march. Leave that for those of us who can take care of ourselves…

I’m glad to see this. I have been saying for some time that he needs to warn illegals who are registered to vote that his administration will make it a priority to seek out not only those who illegally vote, but also those who illegally registered to vote whether they voted or not. He should also warn these illegals that they will be among the first to be deported.
Putting all these people on notice should give a lot of them pause before attempting the steal again. He’s covered all the right groups that would be involved in the cheating.

These polls confound me. I talk with a lot of people from all over the east coast. Sure there have been “big names” allegedly flipping to the other party for a competitive media PR.
But I cannot recall one regular person I’ve talked with in a long time who has changed position from his or her “team” (that human proclivity to align with a team, whether sports or politics, and once having chosen, just dig in thereafter.) Best I’ve seen is one couple this week, politically apathetic since I know them, who seem now to be vaguely pro-Trump (but I doubt they bother to vote). On the other side, a 70-year-old woman asked me this week how to get the son of a friend in Jamaica citizenship in time for him to vote in the upcoming election, and should she marry him!

Independents and moderates who aren’t all that politically-minded make the difference. Trump lost significant support among white voters in 2020 (his own campaign pollster found that), and they appear to be returning in 2024. I blame Jared for 2020-he made some snarky comment to the effect of “where will they go?” and it came back to bite them.

Front page of NY Times today has a piece about a new poll showing Trump ahead and an article saying Kamala’s support has stalled. I know polls aren’t definitive, but they can be helpful-after all, campaigns pay a lot of money for their own polls. The other side appears to be very, very concerned about the numbers they are seeing. I suspect they have some October surprise in store, but it’s hard to see how the dynamics of this race can change significantly. They can’t feature Harris doing town halls or interviews where she’s asked real questions, so they need to keep hiding her away like they’ve been doing, yet that’s not working.

Maybe it’s a NYC suburbs thing but when I was an adolescent and a teen, many of my friends would tie a hangman’s noose when any kind of noose was needed. It was never a race issue. it just made a really cool, decorative noose. If anyone drew pictures of skulls, they weren’t Black skulls, they were just skulls. I could tie a bowline when I was a kid, none of my friends could but almost all could tie a hangman’s noose. If I had a garage and needed a noose or a loop on the end of a rope or cord, I’d have a teen tie hangman’s nooses for the decorative touch. Halloween is also one of my favorite holidays.

As Kamala got into politics, she began reinventing her past, falsely claiming that she had been in “the second class to integrate at Berkeley public schools” when schools began to be integrated the year she was born and plagiarized an MLK story about demanding “Fweedom” as a child in the spirit of the civil rights movement.
Berkeley had not been segregated, but her family home is in Brentwood which is 84% white and 1.2% black in Los Angeles, a city that is nearly 10% black, more closely fits the bill.

it appears the father had full custody, the mother had limited visitation so the fact that she called and tried to warn the school before the incident is helpful to understand why the father has also been charged.
It’s hard for the school when the parents have custody issues. I wonder if they are even legally allowed to act on something that the non-custodial parent requests?
