I just got back from Germany, and all I can say is, I am so relieved and happy to be back in the USA. As bad as things are getting here, we aren’t that far gone yet. They had a manhunt for a guy who called a German politician “fat” on social media going on when I left. I had an extended “German massage” with questions from the German Federal Police (BPOL) on my way out for no reasons given as well, and I didn’t whisper a word on social media when I was there. It was really weird.
I think I will turn down further international travel for a bit. Just a bad vibe over there this time around.
Thanks for sharing this sound advice. As angry as I am with our government’s twentieth century history, the idea of even visiting a foreign country for a short time, much relocating to one ,(shiver!) is simply out of the question.

I don’t think Commies are popular where I was at. I was in the middle of Germany in a small farm town and people were on edge for some reason but nobody would say why. My German is so bad I couldn’t get a conversation going anyways. I won’t mention the company was I working with there or why just for anonymity sake, but even those guys were kinda…nothing to see here. Was a weird trip. But the BPOL grabbing me in Frankfurt weirded me out and made me want to get back to the States ASAP.
Good beer there, but not THAT good.

Of all the concerts I attended @ Deer Creek Amphitheater in Noblesville Indiana, his was the most memorable in that the most security activity of any concert, and I attended some rather rough acts, the reason ….. people were dancing in the aisles, told twice to sit down 3rd time … got thrown out … talk about bad reasons to start a scuffle with Barney Fife, the Magilla Gorilla unit are his backup.
Highlight tho, friend that worked for Sunshine Promotions that always got us comped seats … got at least 4 stage appearances for what ever Jimmy wanted … conga lines and such
