I’ve had appreciation for the commenter’s “Dom Lucre”? measured take on politics and culture in the past, if not that music he speaks of and references there. The cultural phenomenon of rappers embracing POTUS and MAGA is not lost on me either.
The desire to thrive or let alone even survive, can make for some strange bedfellows. I see this whole R.F.K. Jr thing this way as well. Sane people once assumed to be ideologically apart, often come around and find an equanimity of agreement vis a vis major policies, if not lifestyles. Like “live and let live”.

My escape from America after a three-week visit went swimmingly. (I am now back in Saidia, Morocco, swimming in the Med every day). I got out before nuclear World War III breaks out (which could be sooner than most people realize, since in the current situation, Russia expert Gilbert Doctorow tells us, “a preventive Russian attack on NATO, on the continental United States, not to mince words, is entirely conceivable.”) I got out before a monkeypox scamdemic locks down airports. I got out before an actual Trump assassination attempt by his Deep State enemies (as opposed to the July 13 preventive PR op) leads to all hell breaking loose. I got out before another stolen, I mean, disputed election throws the country into chaos.
Why I Left
In 2006, during an interview on Wisconsin Public Radio, the host—I believe it was Joy Cardin—asked me something like: “If you really believe 9/11 was an inside job, why are you still living in America?” My answer was something like “I’ll be damned if I let those neocon bastards run me out of my country.” Since there was still a modicum of free speech, I planned to use it by way of a truth jihad. And it worked…for awhile. Until around 2015 the 9/11 truth movement dominated the internet. The search engines still gave honest results, such that anyone googling anything about 9/11 was led to the most-frequented urls relating to 9/11—the truther sites and videos. The notion that internet platforms could discriminate on the basis of political viewpoint was anathema, as it had been since the internet’s founding.
But by the mid-twenty-teens, internet freedom started dying. Neocon think tanks, following Cass Sunstein’s lead, pushed the idea that in an era of dangerous “conspiracy theories,” viewpoint neutrality was no longer viable. Trump’s election was blamed on internet freedom in general and Russia’s misuse of it in particular. Within a year or two, the worldwide web was no longer a free speech zone. I was relentlessly shadowbanned and increasingly deplatformed (first by Facebook and GoFundMe, and then, in the wake of COVID, by Patreon and YouTube).

ICE Loses Track of Thousands of Unaccompanied Minors
Chances of human trafficking and exploitation skyrocket when notices to appear in court are not issued to unaccompanied minors.
The report asserts that ICE, having not issued notices to appear in court to illegal alien children, is unable to monitor the whereabouts of the minors once they are released from custody. Further, ICE allegedly has no process in place to address unaccompanied minors if they fail to appear in court.
As immigration court hearings are often the only opportunity to evaluate a child’s safety from human trafficking efforts, the risk of malicious exploitation has skyrocketed.
Between fiscal years 2019 and 2023, more than 448,000 unaccompanied illegal alien children were transferred to HHS. As the report shows, many did not appear in court as directed. HHS was able to identify 32,000 minors who did not appear in court.
However, as of May 2024, the number of unaccompanied illegal alien children who have not been served notices to appear in court by ICE has exceeded 290,000.
Additionally, ICE habitually did not inform HHS when minors failed to appear in court following the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement’s release of the children to sponsors—many of whom are allegedly unvetted.

PINELLAS COUNTY BREAKING: Thousands Of Undeliverable ‘Vote By Mail’ Ballots Were Cast On Aug 20 Primary Election
According to data obtained from the Florida Secretary of State’s office, and run through the National Change of Address and USPS systems, thousands of ballots that were undeliverable have been found to have been cast during the Aug 20 primary election in Pinellas County.
The data was run through investigate journalist Peter Bernegger’s ‘Titan’ system to match ballots listed as undeliverable, and still cast.
In one specific example, 6,375 ballots were cast where the voter had moved permanently out of state, and no longer able to vote in Florida elections. The ballots should have been returned as undeliverable.
In another example, 3,515 ballots were cast for voters who had moved and left no forwarding address.

It was signed by President Trump on Sept 12, 2018. It is still in effect as it has been extended during the past 3 1/2 years.
I’m pretty sure it calls for seizure of assets for those in violation of this EO. Guessing it has already or soon will be enforced for this and any other violations. This company is not the only violator.
As President Trump stated, “If we don’t have free and fair elections, then we don’t have a country.”
If Congress and the DOJ fail to enforce this lawful Executive Order, then as the top Executive, President Trump not only has the right but is duty bound to take appropriate actions to protect and defend the Constitution. He can take appropriate measures including but not limited to Military actions to enforce the law and ensure our Republic is saved/restored. It’s his job.
I am not a legal mind, but I have heard there are instances where posse comitatus does not apply (i.e. in war time/to restore order).
The President took an oath. The Military took an oath. It is their duty to defend our country and uphold the Constitution. “It is our right. It is our duty.”

The “reintroduction” shapers also left out Harris’ teenage years in Canada. From 1976 to 1982 (from roughly 12 to 18 years old), she lived in Montreal, where her mother worked at McGill University. The Times noted Montreal “fared even worse than Berkeley at the convention. The city’s name was completely excised from Ms. Harris’s re-telling of her childhood.”
