Robert F Kennedy appears on Fox News Sunday to talk about his endorsement of President Donald Trump. RFK Jr said President Trump reached out to him several times before the independent candidate finally decided to talk to President Trump.
RFK Jr also confirms that he reached out to the Kamala Harris campaign in order to discuss the possibilities of forming an agreement with the Democrats before he decided to accept the relationship with President Trump.
The former candidate now says he will actively campaign with President Trump as the republican party begins promoting the support of other well known Democrats. It is an interesting discussion, worthy of the time you might invest to understand the details of the RFK Jr dynamic. WATCH:

RFK Jr. is a man of integrity and transparency. Whether you agree with him or not on some issues, he speaks from his personal experience and wisdom gained. And he has had many big wins against the swamp of government/corporate corruption. I have always loved him for that. And I can tell you from my MAGA camp, that moment on stage when Trump invited him on and he gave his endorsement was history in the making. The roar of acceptance from MAGA supporters cannot be overlooked for anyone’s political opinion. It was resounding.
This moment presented itself in 2016 when Trump was setting up his administration. Bobby was invited in. And then something changed and no more was said about his participation. RINOs in the camp. Who could have guessed that this moment would come that made Bobby’s participation even far greater than we imagined. That moment with the two of them on stage resounded with UNITY!!!! MAGA had total acceptance for that unity. It was a moment that sent chills up my spine and still does today. And it sucked the air out of the DNC convention and the comrade kamala campaign.
I say, count your blessings when they come and keep marching. This ain’t over yet by a long shot. And I am grateful we now have one of the greatest warrior fighters from the Dem side we could ever have convinced to be on the right side of history. Bobby wants what Trump and his supporters want. All I know is that I would go listen to Kennedy speak about his decades of experience with the Democrat party. Seems others would too. He wanted to run for governor of Illinois too, but Prizker was able to buy the nomination. He is a progressive, but he is passionate and knowledgeable about important issues.

It unnerves me that Kennedy will be campaigning with President Trump. Seems he might be using our president to gain support from the MAGA movement. Being able to appear before so many might very well allow him to gain followers. I also found it troubling that he did not end his bid but simply suspended it. Even at the first rally where he endorsed President Trump, he made it plain he still had hopes of becoming president. Sundance, I think you are right in your assessment of Kennedy. He’s a fox allow to roam freely in the henhouse. I, for one, think he’s out to steal eggs.

I, too, found this very troubling.
Clearly, he continues to have winning the presidency as his primary goal, and I believe his support of PDJT will be secondary to reinserting himself into the election process in whatever manner possible, if doing so somehow gives him the opportunity to contend for the presidency.
In brief, he admitted that his support for PDJT is conditional upon his own path to the presidency being blocked. During his press conference, he described a potential reentry scenario. He is definitely not all in for PDJT.

It occurred to me that the agendas Kennedy seems to want to fight has a democrat base. For instance, who fought to make our kids eat healthier to the point of changing menus in the schools? President Trump is in to fight government’s hold in America. To bring it under control. Kennedy looked at that rally crowd with a hunger. No, he’s not to help but to acquire.
If you are referring to Big Mike, let me share what I know about those school lunches. I was still a teacher at the time. I couldn’t believe how gross those lunches looked. I was especially intrigued by the French toast sticks swimming in a pool of syrup with some kind of patty that identified as sausage.
Although maybe it was because when I grew up, we all brought our lunches from home. Bologna with mayo on white bread – in a paper sack sitting on coat rack shelf for 3 hours. And I made it to age 72.
You know what we all ate? Peanut butter and jelly. Now, they have peanut free zones in school cafeterias since so many kids keel over from peanut allergies.
That *never* used to happen.
There are also special needs students in all the schools.
Many are on the autism spectrum and others have ADD and other disorders.
This is also new.

Did you see Kennedy pull Trump’s hand right to his waist when Trump extended his hand when introducing Kennedy at the rally? That is an old ploy to show the public which person shaking hands has the most power.
Trump is the one who usually does this with Heads of State and it is seen in many pictures / videos. I believe Kennedy did this deliberately.
Also, Kennedy was all over the Sunday news media touting his agreement with Trump and about his businesses.

I refuse to hold Kennedy’s willingness to talk with anyone against him. The failure is in lacking any effort to communicate with those that you disagree with and failing to look for common ground.

I just don’t get the angst or even just caution expressed by some here. You (I am English) are in a fight to the virtual death for the future of your society as you know it and you look a gift horse in the mouth?
OK, so RFK is a Democrat to his bones but he, like many others in the MAGA movement starting at the top, is primarily a BO Democrat (Before Obama) who has come to reluctantly accept that the Party has changed for the worse. He will not be alone.
By publicly rejecting RFK, the AfterOD Party committed one of the biggest strategic political errors ever made anywhere. They forced him to make a choice, accept consignment to Democrat history with little achieved or fight with the ‘enemy’ for the chance to write his page in history. A page that, with his actions, he has already started to write.
All good politicians have a performer within them and performers live in part for the adulation of their audience and RFK will not be immune from it. We all heard the full power of a MAGA welcome on full bore in a closed arena but unless you have experienced something like that you probably can’t comprehend it properly. Many moons ago I went to a Rod Stewart concert in a similar venue where we the audience singing drowned out his powerful sound system, the memory is still strong in me. It would have been a lifetime memory for all there but especially RFK himself. He cannot have expected it and probably not experienced it before so to have not cracked must have needed nerves of steel that few of us possess, the impact on him will have been like a lightning bolt into his soul. Whether “Bobby” was him or his father is irrelevant. Then imagine what Trump thought, perhaps ‘Have I done the right thing or what?’ as he beamed from ear to ear.
Just as this was a AOD disaster, it was a genius MAGAstroke on the one hand effectively putting a canonball through the side of their ship, not under or on the waterline but close enough to make them change plans and react, whilst on the other hand generating an as yet unqualified boost to MAGAmorale. We have seen big queues to get into Trump events, forget Vance, imagine what it will be like at a Trump/Kennedy event or the Republican Convention?
As to RFK wanting to be President, why not? If he takes on the FDA (remember those nerves of steel I mentioned above?) and he succeeds in ‘saving’ American children from pharmahell, won’t he have deserved a place among the other hopefuls?

Yeah, the strategy sets up just as you describe. This has an awesome upside. It will require extreme discipline to execute, however, in order to avoid the severe downside. Trump games out all, and knows this. RFKJr is promised nothing, and can easily be frozen out. The discipline starts with him.

Yes, exactly that but it is not just outvoting, it is outcounting ballots. It has been discussed here already that the steal can only work if it is believable, that is that prior polls have the contest as balanced or the side benefiting from the steal is ahead. If however the side being defrauded is well ahead in the polls the steal becomes much more difficult. It is clear that Trump’s medium term objective in welcoming RFK is to maximise his poll lead prior to the election. The reaction in the short time so far indicates that it was a good move.
So, you are going to tell us who MAGA is and not and how we should think and operate and you’re not even American.

I am well aware of the state of the UK, probably more so than you as I live in it. The King cannot do as you suggest as, to all intents and purposes, he is a figurehead, even a puppet, and would only be forced to abandon his comfy lifestyle if there was a revolution underway.

I was at the Houston Trump rally in 2018 with a similar size crowd. It was more than anything else I had ever experienced. Like a big concert plus a huge revival plus something extra – it is hard to describe.
I have also spoken publicly. I think the largest room where I had a keynot type speech was 2000 where the audience had great interest in what I was saying.
I can only try to put those two together but I promise you, RFKJ was bowled over by that reception in that arena. I know this alliance is fraught with danger but I think it is a path forward where we may be able to reclaim our country without bloodshed. And that is a risk worth taking IMHO.

I Just met a nice family at our community from The bay Area that moved to Texas to get their kids out. He’s 18+ years Marines, and they were careful not to say “we left for political reasons”. But I just flat out told them that Texas (Austin excluded) was a good move for their three kids. I got the feeling they were coming for the right reasons. We are in one of the most conservative counties in Texas. Can’t imagine that their move here was by accident. I left Washington State 25 years ago for precisely the same reasons, to get our kids out of the insane school system. Texas did a fair job of educating them.

RFKjr just wanted to promote his issues in the next administration. It was a pragmatic approach.
As opposed to Perot, RFKjr was black holed by the Press who are Dem propagandists. So, again, pragmatically, RFKjr sought the unlikely ally, the natural enemy of the Dems, the GOP; more specifically, the MAGA movement.
To use Kamala’s verbiage, MAGA and RFKjr’ Ven Diagram converged well when it came to some of his core issues. So, RFKjr, had a simple choice: disappear in the Dem’s bin for old white men, or remain useful by repurposing to the new Movement where at least some of his core issues are accepted. That’s what he did.
Now, for him to stay useful and keep some of the leverage and importance he seeks, he needs to bring in his supporters. He needs to convince 1-2% (about 50% of his loyal supporters) that while they don’t agree with everything MAGA stands for, they do have common ground on some core issues: Vaxx, Food, Health…
I think he will become an unlikely addition to MAGA. A new wing that will break off Dem and immerse into MAGA. It is a sign that MAGA is maturing, and that Dem are breaking apart. I see most of this new wing to be formed by young people, and Dem families.
What’s left in the ol’Dems will be the weirdo groups, single cat ladies, NPCs, and anti-semites and assorted racists. Two more ol’Dem groups will start to feel a little uncomfortable in their old party: the Black group who will increasingly become feminized and weird, thus losing the men. And the rich Whites who will have to put up with the weirdness to stay in control.
I foresee another split within the Dems as they’ll “eat their own”.
The big problem I see is how fast will the Tyrannical Wing of the UniParty will consolidate. If they succeed, nothing else matters. The next four years will hold the key to that answer.
Very astute. I guess this is how the Uniparty crumbles, or starts to. If they consolidate into a diminished bloc, that’s the start. Right now, they’re a monolith, all aligned against Trump. This action begins to fragment them. That’s progress, however small.
RFK will be a huge asset to the ticket and make some fence sitters re examine Trump. A master chess move from Trump. I will not be gaslit by the media-its hard not to be- Nov 5th is a blowout, no matter how much they cheat in the 15 counties in swing states where election is determined. Stay positive, we got this!
As a practical matter, how much harm can RFK do, if he were so inclined?
Pence more or less flew under the radar, who’d have thought from his background that he would even want to do what he did?
If RFKJr turns coat again and attacks Trump, he will be broadcast live 24/7 on every form of media from here to the next solar system.
That’s not including more subtle actions, or strategy leaks.
There is a significant risk here. Trump has likely developed a strategy to mitigate damage, if the risk pops. But it’s still a risk.
RFKJr sorta made his bones though. Trump must feel the risk is manageable now.
I’m not going to question Trump’s decision. It’s his to make, he’s the one in the arena, not me.
This is momentous and reflects what we’ve seen the last year or so that influential people and people who want to make a difference see how badly our country is doing and have to make some hard decisions to bail on the dem party and join with a candidate who reflects true American values and want to change course before that’s impossible.
RFK Jr. wanted to become a Democrat president because he saw what was happening to the party of JFK, and also because he wanted to try again to bring forth the issue closest to his heart, children’s health.
Might I remind people that he was perfectly happy to accomplish his health goals under a Trump administration?
If he really wanted to be president it seems like he would have given it a shot already, as he’s been eligible to run for half his life.
This is so big, in so many ways. RFK can do untold damage to the evil Democrat Party, and has already begun to do so. But more importantly, this heralds the sea change of Americans beginning to work together to solve our deepest existential problems, even as we still disagree substantially on other issues. This IS the path forward, the only one that can possible work.
And RFK tweeted yesterday that we haven’t seen anything yet with regard to Trump reaching out to form a Unity Party. We already seem close to a Teamster endorsement. I’m not sure what else could be in the wings, but I welcome what looks like an historic generational political realignment. Trump knows he has but 4 years to leave his mark, and he seems to have consecrated himself to making it happen.
Pray, because the forces of evil will not take this sitting down. They are powerful, but our God is greater by far.

I love reading the comments on this website because they are more intelligent and mature than the average discussion board these days. That said, I rarely post here. But I wanted to say that I am a typical RFK JR supporter. I saw him speak in person and have watched many, many interviews with him since he announced his candidacy.
One of the least mentioned but most interesting facets about RKK JR is the fact that he has been clean and sober for more than twenty years. He attends 12-step meetings every morning. I think people in long term recovery are some of the best people on the planet. When RFK JR stood next to Trump, you saw two powerful political figures who abstain from alcohol and drugs, a rare thing these days.
I’m in a swing state, and I plan to vote for Trump now that RFK JR is off the ballot. I’ve always liked Trump, but I felt that RFK JR better represented my most urgent concern, medical freedom and the rejection of the shocking tyranny inflicted upon the populace during COVID. I hope and trust and Trump will be just as a strong a supporter of medical freedom as RFK JR.
Some of you may not know that RFK Jr runs an organization called Children’s Health Defense. They are a great resource of info against bad vaccines and such that are forced on children. Aside from whatever politics he may have, I trust him completely with regard to reigning in the corruption and influence of big pharma, and I think he will do good with Trump in this regard.
So what do you say to the fact that RFK, Jr., wants to increase the spending for WHO which has a majority of Big Pharma in control of its decisions and actions?
This is so sad that as much as we’ve come to learn about fake media, there’s still a large segment that’s still a victim of fake media.

1. The amount of cheating necessary for Kamala to beat Trump is insurmountable.
2. Trump and Harris get their expected solid states with maybe a surprise or two.
3. Based on the those results, TPTB will manipulate the wins in the remaining swing states and states with reliably corrupt machines in place so that the electoral count is 270/270.

I do see Pres. Trump’s talent in deal-making in this new peace agreement – I can see how Pres Trump could have tempted him with the idea of “Let me help you get the BIG THINGS you want.”
It is a very powerful skill to turn an enemy into an ally – and that is all Kennedy is – an ally in some things – for now.
I think Kennedy is an emotional “true believer” about kids’ health. Kennedy probably sees himself sacrificing for the greater good to team up with Pres. Trump.
That worries me. He seems to see himself as morally superior to Pres. Trump, and therefore, does this mean Kennedy’s capable of betraying Pres.Trump?

I do think Kennedy is brave to take aim at The Poisoners.
I do think Pres. Trump loves people, wants people to be happy and healthy, more than bigger earnings.
Therefore his goals and Kennedy’s goals align, and Pres. Trump probably sees the advantages of having a “crusader” on his team.
The hint about “More democrats” being brought onto the team is intriguing. Just like the WSJ, there are conservatives who do not believe in forming alliances.

I don’t care what anyone thinks, but what he did was brave and sets a great example.
We used to be a country where it was okay to have debate, “ferociously” as he says, and still hug one another afterwards.
That is no longer true. People immediately turn to hating and bashing those who disagree.
I think this is a great step forward.

I’ve said this before on other posts. If you have not listened to his speech in Washington DC on a very frigid day during the darkest days of Covid, you really need to do that. It was one of the most inspirational speeches I have ever heard.
He was one of the few figures with enough guts and courage to speak out against what the government was doing with the vaccine and the mandates.
I think he is misguided on many issues. I could never vote for him for public office however he does stand for some things that make a lot of sense. If he can help prevent the Democrats from winning, then it is worth having him on the team.
I will always be grateful for his position during Covid and he has earned my lifetime respect just for that.
Unlike the overwhelming vast majority of Democrats/progressives, I truly believe he does not hate America.

Well, I spent two and a half years working in my senate district as a delegate, on rules, officers, precinct chair, conventions, and supporting the grassroots against the establishment. Unfortunately that establishment staged an illegal coup and threw out our leadership causing the entire executive committee and it’s supporters to resign or be sued by David Hann and the MNGOP.

Most of us would never wade into the political arena to fight this or fight them in court as RFK has done. We don’t have the resources nor do we have the ability to stand up to the murdering cabal.
