RFK JR delivered a short speech in Arizona, highlighting why it was both challenging and important for him to drop out of the race and support President Donald Trump. The people closest to RFK Jr., are also impacted by his decision, and they have shared their opinion about it.
First, here is the transcript of the speech that RFK Jr gave to the enthusiastic audience.
[Transcript] – Thank you, President Trump. A few hours after the assassination attempt at Butler, I got a call from a safe food advocate named Calley Means, who’s been fighting for many years to try to end the corruption at the CDC, FDA, and USDA.
These institutions—these regulatory agencies—are actually run by the big food processing companies, the big ag, and the chemical companies that they’re supposed to regulate.
He said to me that he’d been advising me for many years and on my campaign. That night, he told me that he was also advising President Trump and asked if I would talk to President Trump. I said, “Of course.”
A few minutes later, I got a call from the President, and we talked. We had a very good conversation. Then he invited me to come see him the next day. I went to Minneapolis and saw him. We met again a couple of weeks later in Florida.
We talked not about the things that separate us—because we don’t agree on everything—but about the values and the issues that bind us together. One of the issues he talked about was having safe food and ending the chronic disease epidemic.
Our children are now the unhealthiest, sickest children in the world. Don’t you want healthy children? Don’t you want the chemicals out of our food? Don’t you want the regulatory agencies to be free from corporate corruption?
That’s what President Trump told me he wanted. He also told me that he wanted to end the grip of the neocons on U.S. foreign policy.
He said he didn’t want any more $200 billion wars in Ukraine—that we could use that money back here in the United States. The best way to build a safe America is to rebuild our industrial base and the middle class in this country.
Don’t you want a President who’s going to get us out of wars and rebuild the middle class in this country?
He told me that he wanted to end censorship because the whole basis of American democracy is the free flow of information. We know that a government that can silence its opponents has a license for any atrocity.
Can you think of any time in history when the people who were censoring were the good guys? They’re always the bad guys because it’s always the first step down that slippery slope to totalitarianism.
Don’t you want a President who’s going to protect America’s freedoms and protect us against totalitarianism? I want to ask you again: don’t you want a safe environment for your children?
Don’t you want to know that the food you’re feeding them is not filled with chemicals that are going to give them cancer and chronic disease?
Don’t you want a President who’s going to make America healthy again?

Robert F Kennedy Jr’s wife, Cheryl Hines, released the following message – also Via Twitter:
“The decision has been made to suspend my husband’s, Robert Kennedy Jr.’s, presidency and I’d like to extend a sincere, deeply heartfelt thank you to every person who has worked so tirelessly and lovingly on his campaign. They have accomplished feats that were said to be impossible. They have gathered over a million signatures, more than any candidate in history, and have achieved ballot access across the country despite the roadblocks and lawsuits that have been brought against them for the sole purpose of keeping Bobby off of the ballots so no one would even have the opportunity to vote for him.
I deeply respect the decision Bobby made to run on the principle of unity. Over the last year and a half, I have met some extraordinary people from all parties — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. It’s been my experience that the vast majority of all parties are truly good people who want the best for our country and for each other. To say the larger MAGA movement is gleeful, happy and optimistic – as noticeable via all social media platforms, would be an understatement. I have never seen the self-identifying MAGA community this excited about an event in politics in a long time – if ever. The image gave me pause as I thought about the age of the children represented, the distance we have traveled in their lifetime and the possibilities of their father’s intent.
My thoughts about Robert F Kennedy Jr and the world of politics in general shifted upon review.

From our door to door efforts in a very cold Massachusetts 2009, where our team worked against all odds for Scott Brown; to the victory achieved by a united Tea Party in 2010; to the insurmountable effort on behalf of David Brat to expel Eric Cantor and stop the Gang of Eight amnesty program; to the targeting of our simple patriotic groups by the IRS and Main Justice; to the late night muddy fields in Virginia 2016; through every manipulative and Machiavellian hurdle from the professional GOPe and their insufferable alignment with Democrats to weaponize ballots in 2020, while threatening us with arrest for not taking their poison shots…. we have fought, scratched, clawed and taken ground away from a vile DC system supported by a corrupt media apparatus – to expand The Great Awakening!

I’ve shared here many times that I pivoted from Bernie to Trump in 2016, alongside finding the Treehouse as part of a deep dive into what actually happened with the DNC server. My main electoral issue was international trade, and Trump vindicated us cross-overs by delivering on actually renegotiated NAFTA to make it so clearly better for Americans and America that no rational person, left or right, could genuinely deny it. Add to that Trump’s wildly popular working class policies and era of peace, and the results SHOULD have been obvious to everyone.
My point is, my shift to Trump was deliberate and not just reactive or surface level; it was part of a deep-dive that unraveled years of assumptions and beliefs I had about the Dems. My voting record is Clinton, Kerry, Obama (twice), Trump. I have never looked back. I have never wavered. I doubt that would have happened if here were a conventional “republican.” In other words, I think what I really joined was a group of the politically homeless.
No one in my insular liberal circle understood that. Call it timing — but RFK Jr has changed that. He’s been a gamechanger in a positive way for those of us surrounded by liberals. Young democrats like him. Not all, but enough. These young people shame their parents and give elders like me renewed cred. For people like me from the left, this moment solidifies the realignment I felt in 2016.
I get it that the grassroots on the right — including many here at the Treehouse — would be understandably wary of any old “leftie” like me applauding a realignment (kinda like having Californians move to your state …). I also get Sundance’s point that this move should be viewed with suspicion. I take that point, and will watch what happens with everyone else.
But so far, even just symbolically I think this is positive. They say politics is downstream of culture, and RFK embracing Trump is “a big f-ing deal” (to quote our favorite lame duck, haha). Looking at slices of the electorate — Never Trump Rs were already lost to Kamala. Not coming back. But the disgusted, burned left — who are anti-woke, anti-corruption, pro-America and pro common sense — that’s a bigger untapped demographic than I think we realize, and it’s so far been mostly shamed into submission by their good liberal friends and family, and it seems like RFK is blowing the path wide open, finally, finally, saying come on over, the water’s fine.
I think we all know in a fair election Trump was already winning anyway. But this cross-party endorsement from a member of such a storied, legacy family, is gonna make it that much harder to sell the necessary lie that Trump is radioactive. Their gonna have to work harder to sell the lie.

It is my upmost desire RFK Jr really is a man of honor and any deal made with him will be honored. Even though I totally disagree with him on many subjects, the principles he laid out in his speech are ones that I can fully support. However, compromising with the current Democrat leaders (Obama, Pelosi, Schumer….) is like the monkey making a deal to cross a river on the back of a crocodile.

The picture of the father standing with his 2 children is fabulous. It’s not often that a picture can yield that much power in today’s video world. Sundance knows how to pick them.
Like millions of others, I remember the announcement from my school gym on Nov 1963 that President Kennedy was shot and killed and the emotional reaction of me and my fellow students. When the shock and sadness of that murder had subsided, Martin Luther King was murdered on April 4th 1968. The anger and chaos was not surprising. I also vividly remember the shocking news reports and pictures of RFK’s assassination in June 5th 1968 that further stunned the world and rekindled sad memories of JFK’s previous murder in Nov 1963. All hope of positive change seemed impossible to those on the left or center even if all of these iconic leaders weren’t perfect. This was the country touted and trusted as “the leader of the free world.” It was a depressing time.
Watching the son of RFK and nephew of JFK walking out to thunderous applause from the MAGA crowd on Aug 24th 2024 was very touching and uplifting and the source of much of this emotion was drawn from memory. I hope this coalition will be very successful in its work on the health of the nation and will inspire others. RFK Jr. added a new and important issue to P Trump’s campaign.
Hopefully, there will be others that introduce new and important issues to P Trump’s campaign that won’t detract or diminish any of his MAGA initiatives. I think Tulsi for example has earned an opportunity to do so. Like “Bobby” she was rejected by the corrupt Dems and been subjected to Dem lawfare and Big gov’t harassment. This is a potential road to great things including breaking the stranglehold that the corrupt have on gov’t power in the USA.

What is it that you think Tulsi could bring to the table? (To my knowledge there is nothing she has stood for over an extended period of time, unlike Jr who has been fighting for kids health and against what he describes as Big Ag, along with big pharma, for many years)
Why do you think she could be trusted at all? (she has repeatedly taken part in WEF events and in my mind angling for influence to the detriment of the people of this nation)

Yes, they’re all corrupt. Yes, their ambition is purely self-serving. Mr. Phillips joined the Democrat Party because in “closed shop” union states (by law you have allow the union or join one) that’s how things get done. If you have a problem you go see the local ward heeler, he’ll be a Democrat backed by the local unions. He’ll talk to you, you have a person you can reach, this is on-the-ground representative democracy.
In short, it’s all about the strong horse. People follow the strong horse, and in this case, the strong horse is the traditional system. If you want to get ahead as Mr. Phillips does, you follow the strong horse.
Revolutions that succeed are led by a counter-elite. Ambitious, self-serving strivers who seek to overthrow the current elite in power that they might take their place.
We have already been overthrown; I welcome, but do not need trust, a new counter elite as the new strong horse.
Mr. Phillips and RFK Jr. throwing their lot in with the counter elite forming tells other potential defectors that the water is safe. We need more Musks, Thiels, Ackermans, Kennedy Democrats like Trump (!), not to be purists, but to be a viable elite, a strong horse with the heft to contend with the Beast System that besets us. We need bad men doing good things.
If RFK Jr stays in the healthcare lane and avoids promoting socialized medicine, it may work out well. Promoting health freedom would improve health and cost.
Backdrop. I am a WarRoom listener and because of Covid and Naomi Woolf, I became more familiar with RFK. Prior to that, I had written him off. I gained a lot of respect for him prior to this alliance because he was right regarding some important health issues (I am not talking about abortion). I thought his speech was phenomenal, and he burnt the media, DNC and deep state to the ground. I went into the press conference not trusting him that much. My trust has gone up, however, I am still cautious. I am happy that President Trump seems to be keeping him somewhat under control by not promising a Cabinet position yet and I really like RFK heading a couple of Commissions. I feel positive about this development. By the way, go on twitter and find his dog video. It is hilarious.
I think the burden is Trump’s, not Kennedy’s. Trump knows what he needs to say and do to get those votes. Will he do it or will his ego prevent him from saying what he needs to say?

Part of the joyous enthusiasm is what the Trump people did w/Jr’s. entrance. They put him on a pedestal, they created the energy. I am surprised they didn’t drop balloons for the guy. The theatrics sure sucked the wind out of the DNC buzz, so kudos for that.
That handshake, Jr. is pulling Trumps’ hand to him, there isn’t the normal meet in the middle that most people have when they do a handshake.
Dave Brat never thanked the Tea Party for everything they did for him. The Tea Party is solely responsible for his win. He choked on the mere words “Tea Party”, those words made him cringe. I am finding your entire comment indecipherable.
I am just jumping in here on RFKJr. I have followed this man for over 20 yrs now and I have personally worked with him here in Oregon to stop the mandate of vaccines for children in our state. I believe this is a man of integrity and when he says he is endorsing Trump I believe the man. He has been fighting for the truth and justice for most of his adult life and I do not see that changing now.
I was frankly shocked when Sundance said Kennedy is an IC plant. I now am certain he never was working with IC . I believe Sundance has blown it on this one. I feel certain Kennedy will earn the respect of all MAGA folks over next months or hopefully years Let us all pray for this entire team -Donald, Vance, and now Kennedy.

For that matter, another comment during RFKJr’s statement to his supporters bothered me. He threw a little shade on his own trust that PDJT would do what he promised.

Beautifully written Sundance! I am thrilled and every time I see the moment RFK Jr walks out to that music, to shake hands and his speech to President Trump, thanking him, I get chills. I love the way he looks back at Pres Trump, too. Here in Michigan, I saw headline that RFK Jr will still be on the ballot. I also saw that Cornel West will also be on the ballot. That will give Fraulein Whitmer and Co. something to play with.

Could read only a few paragraphs of the article before having to start a free subscription. Nothing’s ever “free,” so I didn’t. And based upon the opening paragraphs, it sounds like a hit piece.
Personally, when I was alone trying to help nurses and other hospital workers take a stand against covid, I learned about the LA Firefighters suit against the mandates. I looked-up the complaint. On the face of the Complaint was RFK, Jr.’s name as an attorney ‘pro hac vice.’ I called the number and he answered. I expressed my gratification for his efforts against the vaccines. He gave me a few people to contact and finished the call by saying “keep swinging.” It moved me to tears that he was so accessible. Now, I, like many other Treepers, keep faith that he is joining the team to win.

What attracted so many to RFK Jr., including me, was that he spoke truth about COVID-19 like no one else, and certainly no other politician. His books The Real Anthony Fauci and The Wuhan Cover-Up are exhaustive treatises identifying the guilty who birthed the COVID-19 disease and vaccines. This subject is also Trump’s achilles heel because he can’t stop bragging about Operation Warp Speed and he only recently stopped praising the vaccines. Don’t get me wrong, I 100% support Trump. I was an Oregon Delegate to the RNC and was on the floor in Milwaukie. But, we must candidly admit that Trump (unwittingly) opened Pandora’s Box with Operation Warp Speed and the globalist/eugenicist/totalitarian forces barged through. The result is that we are all witness to the greatest crime against humanity in human history–right under our noses. The COVID-19 vaccines killed 20 million worldwide and 1 million in the US, with many times that permanently disabled. Not to mention, all the teeth on the one-way ratchet that Mr. Global advanced towards totalitarian control during the COVID panic. Not to mention the step-change in the human genome resulting from the way the experimental vaccines (taken by more than half of the world’s population) change human DNA. COVID-19 was not an epidemic of disease, it was an epidemic of Chinese totalitarianism; and it went a long way in teaching the population to obey government commands no matter how insane.

RFK Jr’s speech was rhetorically excellent. Factually. . . well, let’s just say that when he was lauding his father’s and uncle’s commitment to democracy it made me think of the living and dead Chicagoans who voted early and often for JFK.
That said, he is not agnostic about the existence, the depth and breadth, or the malevolence of the Swamp.
Amazing thing is that Caroline still supports and upholds the values of the same group that murdered her father almost 61 years ago.
