RFK JR delivered a short speech in Arizona, highlighting why it was both challenging and important for him to drop out of the race and support President Donald Trump. The people closest to RFK Jr., are also impacted by his decision, and they have shared their opinion about it.
First, here is the transcript of the speech that RFK Jr gave to the enthusiastic audience.
[Transcript] – Thank you, President Trump. A few hours after the assassination attempt at Butler, I got a call from a safe food advocate named Calley Means, who’s been fighting for many years to try to end the corruption at the CDC, FDA, and USDA.
These institutions—these regulatory agencies—are actually run by the big food processing companies, the big ag, and the chemical companies that they’re supposed to regulate.
He said to me that he’d been advising me for many years and on my campaign. That night, he told me that he was also advising President Trump and asked if I would talk to President Trump. I said, “Of course.”
A few minutes later, I got a call from the President, and we talked. We had a very good conversation. Then he invited me to come see him the next day. I went to Minneapolis and saw him. We met again a couple of weeks later in Florida.
We talked not about the things that separate us—because we don’t agree on everything—but about the values and the issues that bind us together. One of the issues he talked about was having safe food and ending the chronic disease epidemic.
Our children are now the unhealthiest, sickest children in the world. Don’t you want healthy children? Don’t you want the chemicals out of our food? Don’t you want the regulatory agencies to be free from corporate corruption?
That’s what President Trump told me he wanted. He also told me that he wanted to end the grip of the neocons on U.S. foreign policy.
He said he didn’t want any more $200 billion wars in Ukraine—that we could use that money back here in the United States. The best way to build a safe America is to rebuild our industrial base and the middle class in this country.
Don’t you want a President who’s going to get us out of wars and rebuild the middle class in this country?
He told me that he wanted to end censorship because the whole basis of American democracy is the free flow of information. We know that a government that can silence its opponents has a license for any atrocity.
Can you think of any time in history when the people who were censoring were the good guys? They’re always the bad guys because it’s always the first step down that slippery slope to totalitarianism.
Don’t you want a President who’s going to protect America’s freedoms and protect us against totalitarianism? I want to ask you again: don’t you want a safe environment for your children?
Don’t you want to know that the food you’re feeding them is not filled with chemicals that are going to give them cancer and chronic disease?

Robert F Kennedy Jr’s wife, Cheryl Hines, released the following message – also Via Twitter:
“The decision has been made to suspend my husband’s, Robert Kennedy Jr.’s, presidency and I’d like to extend a sincere, deeply heartfelt thank you to every person who has worked so tirelessly and lovingly on his campaign. They have accomplished feats that were said to be impossible. They have gathered over a million signatures, more than any candidate in history, and have achieved ballot access across the country despite the roadblocks and lawsuits that have been brought against them for the sole purpose of keeping Bobby off of the ballots so no one would even have the opportunity to vote for him.
I deeply respect the decision Bobby made to run on the principle of unity. Over the last year and a half, I have met some extraordinary people from all parties — Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. It’s been my experience that the vast majority of all parties are truly good people who want the best for our country and for each other. To say the larger MAGA movement is gleeful, happy and optimistic – as noticeable via all social media platforms, would be an understatement. I have never seen the self-identifying MAGA community this excited about an event in politics in a long time – if ever. My thoughts about Robert F Kennedy Jr and the world of politics in general shifted upon review.

The one thing that makes me think RFK Jr may NOT be involved with the IC, is that fact that he was denied Secret Service security. I don’t know. Some of “us” have been at it since 1980, getting Reagan elected. Stuffing envelopes, going door to door, going to ward caucus, spending hours calling people to get out the votes, painting signs, yard signs wars, fighting the Bush RINOS factions. Going to the state convention, then onto the national convention in Detroit. Trust is earned in my world. Not given freely. I don’t trust RFK jr. or any of his cohorts. He may be useful scrutinizing food and drugs, or even an assassination panel, but that’s about it. He’s about as blue as you can get. I think he’s doing this for self gain, trying to be the moderate the Democrats are looking for. Proving himself as a moderate for 4 years will put him in a higher position for another Presidential run.
For the possible good he could achieve….it is worth the risk. The issue of Health , especially children’s health, the death, destruction…(especially economic destruction), caused big Pharma and the captured Institutions alone, will cause the death of this country. He was not murdered. He willfully flew a light aircraft into conditions it could not withstand while lacking qualifications for operations in instrument flight rules. I don’t know why he did this, but there are many other examples of properly trained and experienced pilots doing likewise.

I would like to add my two cents to the pilots explaining that JFK, Jr. lost spatial awareness in the fog.
I lost my dear cousin almost 5 years ago in an almost identical accident. He was the pilot, and all but one of his passengers perished as well, and I’ve gone over it all.. He hit unexpected, sudden fog, just after takeoff, and lost it.
The human inner-ear is not built for flight. When you have sudden fog, unless you are IFR (Instrument Flight Rules)-qualified, you can lose control and get into an unrecoverable spin very quickly, due to your physical senses telling you something different than the instrument panel.
Sadly, JFK, Jr was not IFR qualified. He unwisely, hastily, took off under VFR (Visual Flight Rules) conditions, near dark, because his passengers were late. He hit fog and lost it.
I also lost a dear friend 25 years ago in an infamous crash at Aspen, Colorado, because passengers were late. FAA instituted “sterile-cockpit rules” under 10,000′ after this crash, because the rich man who hired the plane got in the cockpit and basically ordered the charter pilots to land because his big expensive Aspen dinner would be ruined if the pilots diverted to Rifle, Colorado. Pilots couldn’t see the runway, came out of the fog, and flew into a mountain.
JFK, Jr also had a broken ankle, which he may have favored in an initial rudder response to stall conditions. He was advised by the airport manager not to fly (I think this was called an FBO).
I’m not going to engage any further, either, because I know my aviation. JFK, Jr. fell victim to one of the primary ways to crash a small plane. My cousin hit a sudden, vicious fog after takeoff, and had a likely distraction of training a young student. His final maneuver saved one passenger. If he hadn’t hit the power lines once he broke out of the fog, they may have all survived, due to his excellent (final) maneuver to line up on a pasture and miss the apartment buildings.
Any well-trained pilot must deeply understand that if you think you may run into IFR conditions, and/or are taking off late, and are not VFR qualified, DO NOT TAKE OFF. Same stuff killed Buddy Holly, Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, etc.
And my sincere condolences to the Kennedy family. Unless there is a massive cover-up, usurping the FAA AND NTSB, JFK, Jr outflew his skills, I know his family misses him, as I do my cousin and friend.

I have been in many X Spaces since Friday under the heading Unity: Kennedy and Trump. Thousands have participated. Some well known people have spoken.
The majority of Kennedy supporters are made up of Libertarians, disenfranchised Former Democrats, some Conservatives and many Ron DeSantis supporters.
The Spaces have been filled with hope, love, understanding and an ambition to beat the Harris campaign. There have been some exceptions… the Ron DeSantis supporters who get on and slam MAGA and Trump. They say they will not vote because Trump is a liar and trusted Fauci. These people are bitter and a lost cause. But the vast majority are deciding to UNIFY by not looking for perfection. They are following Kennedy’s lied by supporting Trump now and will focus on the good. They badly want to punish the Democrats shady actions.
Well, apperently the Dems are splodey headed, while filling their depends over this, and initially tried to dismiss it as unimportant, which lasted about 20 seconds.
Saving the announcement till just after the balloon drop in Chicago was brilliant, took any attention off Chicago, and put their rediculous Convention in a memory hole.

RFKJr may have some views that I do not agree with (like the need for gun control for one), but as far as his quest for a healthier America I believe he is the real deal. Recall the time a short while ago when people’s lives were being destroyed by Biden’s vaccine mandates. I can’t speak to any of the other social media platforms as I wasn’t on these, but any officials from the medical field on Twitter who dared to share research or their concerns about the dangers of the MRNA technology or the truth about Pharma’s vaccine trials had their accounts banned. Anyone else who expressed even skepticism about the efficacy of the vaccines or the mandates was suspended. You were to follow the Fauci/Biden directives to get vaccinated, wear your mask at all times, adhere to the lock-down rules, or your life would be destroyed.
This time of censorship and lockdowns didn’t stop RFKJr. from his mission to educate/warn the public. He traveled the country doing speaking tours. I was fortunate to see him at our church here in CA. His talk was eye opening. This is a man who knows what he’s talking about as he spent much of his career litigating against the vaccine companies and he described their “felonious business practices.” He himself is one of their victims, as that is why his speech is impaired and he sounds raspy. He warned us these companies think they are invincible as their corrupt tentacles go far. They know it is nearly impossible to succeed at suing them for medical damages.
If Trump gets elected and puts RFKJr. in a key leadership position in NIH, or another powerful public health federal agency, I believe RFKJr. is the one man who can carry out his promise to deter those who would poison us, destroy our food, and keep us sick in order to become billionaires or make their cronies billionaires despite knowing whaat they are doing to humanity. There is so much evil and so much corruption entrenched in these agencies I’m not sure how much can be accomplished, but I believe RFKJr will give it his all to clean up this train wreck.
After President Trump is sworn in, the first thing I’d like to see Kennedy do is make Ivermectin available over the counter. Not just in Tennessee but in all states. Not just because it’s an expensive prescription, but because we may need it. No sarc.
As to your last line, agree. This has been his life’s work, and the man is relentless. Kennedy is not going to squander the opportunity provided by President Trump. At 70, he’s running out of time (pretty much his own words). Regretfully, I know all about running out of time in one’s life. You have to analyze what matters most, put all else aside — including unrealized dreams — and focus on the good you might still accomplish. I believe Kennedy has done that. There have been whispers of a covered up cure for cancer or knowing the actual cause and thus knowing the prevention. This has been suspected for years and I for one believe it is the case. I believe that the meds and the food are actually the primary cause for most illnesses.
I am so skeptical that I would not doubt that their regulations and control over tobacco industry processing cigarettes may have been the cancer causing culprit. Call me Crazy…not crazy.

Tell me this isn’t tantalizing. I can hardly think of a more important generational change than surmounting corrupt politics to bring the nation together to work out our problems. Remember, it was President Trump who reached out to RFK. It seems he sees our existential problem and has been working overtime to solve it.

There is an interesting phenomena when someone has has preached, taught others; LIVED, according to the tenets of a particular religion/belief, and then finding out that it was all a lie. My wife and I have personal experience in this.
We uncovered child molesting, wife beating, and embezzlement by members high in the religion we had been raised in, and believed in completely, and when we tried to bring it to the attention of the governing body, we were the ones who were threatened with silence and then excommunicated by the very people doing the evil deeds. The entire thing was supported by the parent organization and swept under the rug. Our own families turned against us since we were labeled as “Apostates”. It took a while but it truly was like scales fell off of our eyes and we could finely see the true depth of corruption and evil.
My point is this: When you finely come to grips with the fact that the beliefs that you have been taught and raised in are false, all a lie, you become more resolute, adamant,and angered. than anyone who has only seen the evil from the outside. You feel shame for ever having believed the lies.
I think that Tulsi Gabbard after going thru the 2016 Democrat campaign is a case in point. It takes time, several years to go thru the self doubt, loss of “friends” and family, to finely understand the depth of corruption of the organization that you yourself advocated to others as the best and only way. The realization of reality and understanding the depth of lies and deceit does not come all at once. It is a PROCESS. It takes TIME.
BUT, once you reach that point; You will never go back and you will be the strongest advocate for the truth the world has ever seen. Once you live the lie, and then see it for what it truly is, you become enraged with a cold fury against it.

And unlike Naomi Wolf’s compendium of jab studies (not that it wasn’t a good thing to assemble), the Means book has, blessedly, an Index.
I recall that whatever they were, the suggestions were in PDJT’s wheelhouse – eradicating bad regulation built up over decades.

Last week the New York Times ran a lengthy front-page hit-piece against Robert F. Kennedy Jr., scion of America’s most famous political family and an underdog challenger to President Joseph Biden in the Democratic Primaries.
Kennedy’s unexpectedly strong campaign had recently stumbled when the novice candidate made some incautious remarks at a private dinner regarding the ethnic skew of Covid vulnerability, and a video clip of his explosive words touched off a media feeding-frenzy. The Times and the rest of the mainstream media are intensely hostile to Kennedy’s effort and the editors may have hoped that this piling-on attack might permanently cripple his fledgling campaign.
Probably few readers, whether Kennedy supporters or opponents, found anything unexpected in the article authored by Chief White House Correspondent Peter Baker. Near the beginning, we were told that Kennedy “has become a source of deep anguish among his many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.” The candidate was described as a former drug-addict, expelled from his private schools, who had been married three times and whose second wife had committed suicide. Meanwhile, almost any mention of the great accomplishments in his long and successful career as an environmental attorney were left on the cutting-room floor.
The main focus of the piece was Kennedy’s frayed relations with his extended family, die-hard Democrats all, who were bewildered and saddened by the strange and self-destructive political behavior of their errant relative. The text was heavily laced with harshly negative quotes regarding his beliefs—“deplorable and untruthful” according to his sister Kerry Kennedy, “morally and factually wrong” by his brother Joseph P. Kennedy II, while his nephew Joseph P. Kennedy III Tweeted “I unequivocally condemn what he said.” The article opened with a denunciation by the only grandson of President John F. Kennedy, who declared that his “conspiracy-minded” cousin was “tarnishing the legacy of his grandfather and their storied family” with his “vanity project.” I counted a total of 13 different Kennedys cited in the piece, almost all of them providing these sorts of unflattering remarks.
The entire tone of the article was unrelentingly negative and clearly intended to present the dissenting Democratic candidate as someone who held bizarre beliefs or was even unhinged, definitely not an individual to be entrusted with our nation’s future.
Over the years, Kennedy has publicly and repeatedly declared that both his father and his uncle had died at the hands of a conspiracy, pointing to the CIA as the most likely culprit. Probably at least a couple of million Americans have read his words or listened to his interviews, clearly establishing him as the most explicit sort of “conspiracy theorist,” a highly pejorative term that the media always eagerly seeks to inflict upon disfavored political candidates.

We are all focused on the upcoming Presidential election for good reason but could Kennedy’s departure presage a greater exodus? I noticed in his speech he mentions that Kamala did not get any votes and how the DNC worked to keep him off the ballots. But surely he knows about the ballot mules, bloated voter roles, and Smartmatic Software which in many ways is much more significant. He was given the Bernie Sanders treatment so he know what an “existential threat” to democracy the Democrats are; he has said so much.

Kennedy probably had a chill up his spine when it hit him that he was touching the primary power conductor in American politics and governance. He could run for president, collect “impossible” numbers of signatures, motivate many volunteers, and have a single or double digit placement in any given contest, but he would always be just another contender wanna-be like hundreds of forgetables before him.
His remark that but for a corrupted government, media, and electoral process he would be the winner is fantasy talk. Sure, if the world were to your liking, perhaps you’d be successful in your dream pursuit, but what if the world is not to your liking and instead is a real crappy cauldron of miserable, conniving, political creeps without souls? Then what? Well, then your dreams are dashed upon the rocks.
So, Kennedy can rationalize in his mind whatever he wants, but the reality is that Trump owns the power of the people, because they have vested it in him by their gathering. No single person, including Trump, is a match against the communist ideology baked into millions of American minion operatives. None is a match. But, collectively, there is a chance of a beat-back. Trump can do it only with many millions of activist citizens who vote first and then act afterward. Trump cannot access power without them. Once accessed, he has a signature that carries the day in official proceedings, as long as proceedings remain bound by rules and order (we’ll see…).
Kennedy, by being invited into this dynamic as a lieutenant in leadership, has elevated to the next highest rank he will ever have. This rank places him in the acquisition stage of formal power, wherein he musters it all to invite every last voter into the fold for voting season. That will be his hill to climb, and atop that hill will be his highest rank. Where he ends up remains to be seen, but it stands to reason that a noble effort in alignment with Trump is the measure of his mettle.
All the dreaming about the power to effect change has no doubt frustrated him all these years with the near impossibility of beating back pharma and corruption. But, now he can see that he is being launched into a new power structure in which he actually can be an earth-shaker in his chosen endeavors.
The people have to be with you and your ideas. On health, Trump’s people ARE with him. They roared in favor of his arrival, and he knows now he’s riding a beast that will take him farther than he dreamed, so long as they ride well together.

Right now, the only way people on the Left, including progressives, can participate in actual Democracy is on the Right. And if Trump loses we are going to enter a new Dark Ages so the lefties with a conscience are acting. If Kennedy could have truly run a Presidential campaign as a Democrat he would have. But the Dems used every lawfare trick in the book to make sure his campaign was quashed. Had he run a real campaign he would have had, at the very least, a significant influence. He might have even made it as VP. Who knows? The reason they were so afraid of Kennedy getting any votes in the primary was because if Biden had faltered (which he did) Kennedy not Harris would be in the front runner slot. When RFK Jr, put one hand up and waved, I saw one thing but when he waved with both hands up I saw something completely different.
In my mind, the big two armed wave is when Presidents are on stage and know they’ve won the Presidency.

I was personally giving him credit for catching himself as soon as he did. He’s almost as good as Trump in understanding how these “small” things matter. Also he stood quite deliberately far to the side of Trump, making sure his presence was clearly NOT indicating equal standing. Good on him for making these subtle but important gestures.

The thing to remember is that Jr. will NOT be president. The opportunities for sabotage from within, were he so inclined, would be limited.
It’s the Mitches and Lindseys and Mikes that have to be guarded against.
I have learned over decades of business (and life) experience that “the devil is in the details”.
With that in mind and reflecting on the reception RFK Jr. received at the rally in Arizona, I doubt the welcome he received would have been as warm as it was had the assembled crowd had time to think through the implications of precisely RFK Jr. has agreed to do. My sense is that the vast majority of people who attended the rally (as well as those across the MAGA community who have subsequently written to express their welcome and support) all interpreted RFK Jr.’s endorsement was decisively reversing the momentum that had been choreographed by the media towards Harris. While perhaps correct in this regard (time will tell), beyond this short term momentum swing what precisely was agreed?
As I understand it, RFK Jr. agreed to drop from the ballot in “battleground” States while he intends to remain on the ballot in Blue States and Red States. In doing so, he and his running mate Nicole Shanahan’s goal is to secure 5% or more of the popular vote. With this, they become legally entitled to funding from the Federal Government to wage in 2028 as a third party a campaign. Critically, this also blocks the DNC (and RNC) from suing to keep them off the ballot in 2028 as the DNC has done this election cycle.
We all know that achieving the goals of the MAGA movement is going to take longer than four years. More likely it is going to take three to four Presidential terms and probably a lot longer. Whether intentional or not, the manner in which RFK Jr. has agreed to help President Trump this election is sowing the seeds of what in time will be an increasingly fragmented multi-party political system in the United States (i.e., where there are more than two political parties).
One need only look at how that has played out in Canada, in the UK and most recently in France to understand how problematic that may prove to be for whoever inherits the mantle to lead the MAGA movement after President Trump. I’ve lived in both Canada and the the UK over my lifetime and and have first-hand knowledge of how this plays out. Time and again political parties to the left of the political spectrum unite to form coalition governments that block conservative-leaning parties from power.
This for me is the risk underlying RFK Jr. remaining on the ballot anywhere. It is a long way from where we are today to the day when there exists three or more political parties in the U.S., however, the strategy RFK Jr. is executing explicitly and transparently demonstrates he is attempting to create a new party to compete in future elections.
Moreover, by securing a visible role in President Trump’s Administration should he win the election RFK Jr. will have a platform of of which to maintain his profile politically which otherwise would have been impossible. I foresee now him leaving the Trump Administration shortly after the 2026 midterm election to launch his campaign for 2028 under the banner of his newly Federally-sanctioned political party pulling from the MAGA party all of the RFK Jr. supporters who joined the bandwagon in 2024.
I sincerely hope we do not look back and regret welcoming him so unconditionally.
If Trump can win in a three way race, then no further discussion.
If Trump could lose due to a splitter, then he needs to negotiate to the successful position.
If Trump needs to negotiate, then there are certain elements outside of his control. First objective is to secure victory in the election. Failing that, all else is not worth discussing. Achieving that, then plan for the next eventualities. But, in that order.
No argument from me with your logic, just saying we need to understand the long game too.
RFK Jr. said he only had about 10 years to get three things done. He knows he can only do that working with Trump. I take him at his word.
It looks to me like what he did is designed to not inadvertently help Harris, and that’s it.
We could still use a new party. It would be nice to see the old Republican Party fade away into history.
The establishment GOP has been radio silent since Friday’s announcement by RFK Jr. That’s all you need to know to: (i) understand the old guard does not want Trump to win (McConnell, Romney, Thune). I watched McConnell cast Tennessee’s votes for Trump at the convention and his total lack of enthusiasm and disgust on his face was obvious as is now his invisibility; and (ii) the old Republican Party is already fading away into history replaced by MAGA movement which has taken it over.
A similar hostile takeover of the Democrat Party by people committed to exorcizing what it has turned into would be one thing, a new (3rd) party that aligns with it on the left politically would be another.

I’d have been surprised if a kid from a wealthy family, who had experienced not one but two extremely traumatic experiences as a child, attending an elite school in the 1970s, wasn’t into hard drugs.

Places like Walmart sell corn syrup blended with just one teaspoon of honey and are allowed to call it honey. I detest what they have done to the seeds, the soil, and the food supply. Every region should have local farms for buying butter and milk, vegetables and meat goods. Walmart has to go!
Renewed the Obama school lunch program? All ltra refined carbohydrates . Theie new food pyramid reflected that removing meat and eggs and cheese, the very things the brain needs to function.
Even doctors insist on diabetics consuming 40g of carbs in each meal. Its a death sentence!

I have always liked RFK Jr. Like Trump, he has a less than perfect personal life in the past. But I know, as much as I know Trump, that his passion regarding children’s health and health in general is what makes him tick. I trust that side.
After his lovely defense and understanding of MAGA in social media posts this morning I replied to him the following:
“This is exactly my vision of MAGA. I couldn’t say it more succinct myself. People who want this MAGA are a loving, compassionate and generous group of people. A group who also desires the Constitutional rights for all citizens and the individual freedoms this entails.
What would be icing on the cake would be someone like you, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, in charge of the HHS agencies to help Make America Healthy Again. A return to more control and more transparency in the food we eat. As a people, we should not be mandated to take unproven treatments and drugs by companies that have nothing to lose if they cause us harm. It should be an individual right to decide on Rx and side effects.
I pray for more TRANSPARENCY in every level of Government. I pray that those in charge are held accountable the same way any of us are.”
