To be fair, it’s the parent company (an international one) that was instituting those policies. One of my wife’s staff works at Jack Daniels. They take care of their employees.

I’ll never forget when my woke CEOs would let Biden and Fauxcahontas campaign downstairs in the employee dining room, banned drinking straws, proudly announced that men could use women’s restrooms, printed out glossy “voter guides” that endorsed every D, told employees to learn Spanish instead of illegals learn English, and had a two tiered system for vaccinated/unvaccinated employees.
American Airlines has the same mess going on, they just keep quiet, and most do. Boeing is another. Boeing is getting its butt handed to them but these corporations have a government lifeline of cash. There is no free market banks and federal reserve are a cartel.
And who knows, maybe DEI is a lame attempt to break up some of that because nobody in government has the guts to take on banks.
If you outright declare war on banks you’re pretty much destroyed. Hard times ahead.

If a company couldn’t figure out this was not popular with the customer base prior to backlash, then the leaders of the company have proven they do not and never did understand their brand. They should be removed by their BOD immediately and replaced by true brand loyalist executives. This is pathetic.
Someone above pointed out that often (and I would suspect most often) the poison is seeping down to the child companies from the parent companies and starting at the boards of directors.
That’s how I saw it happening in the big tech company where I was employed before I retired over ten years ago – just in time, as it turned out.
Luck you! I’m currently on my third small-mid size business restructure. I’ve succeeded every time. 5 months into number 3 and all signs are pointing up.
I don’t use any business magic or fancy new wave crap you see in business mags. I literally apply common sense to every role, department, and process.
I explain things to my teams as I would want them explained to me if I had never heard of or done a process before. I encourage everyone to give me suggestions and everyone to speak up if they know something won’t work.
That’s how business gets done. My biggest hurdle, and I’ve managed my way through it; has been some language barriers with some staff. But I even get through to them by showing them the process in logical phases.
These large companies playing dumb make me laugh. Because you’re right. It seeps down from a group of people that have no bond or connection to the actual business.
I’d love to get a shot at a Harley Davidson or Jack Daniel’s. I’d send them to the stratosphere. And I’d require about 1/10th the salary I’m sure the current morons are getting.

When I started out in tech writing 40 years ago, personal computers were a “wild west” space where startups could thrive if they did the right things.
I worked in a couple that unfortunately didn’t, but it got me a good start (entirely self-taught in tech writing, had no idea what it was called until I found out I’d been doing it for several years).
In those days I still believed in a free market and didn’t understand the implications of the global monopoly strategy at all. I thought I was in a competitive private sector, even in the large company I landed in after it ate up the smaller company I worked for.
Obviously after almost 10 years here at CTH, I understand a whole lot more. That particular large company is part of the Blob and probably always has been.
Yea, the things i’ve picked up here have been real eye openers. The blob needs to be dismantled. I first got exposed to it when some Japanese company randomly reached out to me for an interview in 2008. I tried searching them online but couldn’t find much about them. When I went in for the interview they gave me their “pitch deck” for prospective employees. They owned so many massive companies that I was in pure shock. I thought those large brands were self sustaining. Yet this company actually owned them all. It was shocking to me.
This is the place for shareholder lawsuits. These people should be hammered for foisting this nonsensical mess on companies and knowingly destroying brand value.

He also flew soldiers home with his jets.
He also paid off the mortgage for a man who helped when Trump’s limo had a flat.
I was skeptical of Mr Trump when he threw his hat in the ring as he came down the escalator back in 2015. Only knew of him when he was on “This Old House with Bob Vila and “The Apprentice”.
Went to look for more info on him and came across his interview with the Chicago Tribune editorial board. Later a few of his appearances before Congress.
He was and is the man!
He gave $25 K to the veteran who accidentally made a wrong turn in his truck at the border and spent 9 months in a Mexican jail, he railed about this injustice without result but wanted to help the young man get a start when he was released.
Obama let him languish in jail, making no effort to secure his release.

Audit The Vote PA, a non-partisan, non-profit organization. Although not a named petitioner, they also uncovered overwhelming evidence of registration problems in the 2020 and 2022 elections. For the 2022 election they found:
54,463 people voted in a county in which they were no longer living; and 8,177 people voted despite not actually living in Pennsylvania;
6,356 people were credited as submitting a mail-in ballot, but did not have any votes credited in Pennsylvania’s SURE system;
69,832 mail ballots were sent to an address unaffiliated with the voter’s registration;
18,589 people requested multiple ballots be sent to multiple addresses, with some people requesting additional ballots to be sent to up to four (4) separate addresses; and
5,492 registrations show as having two votes on record in two separate counties.
United Sovereign Americans peer-reviewed data teams analyzed Pennsylvania’s voter registration data from the 2022 general election and found “hundreds of thousands of voter registration apparent errors in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. These apparent errors were not uniform across Pennsylvania — some counties had far more registration apparent errors than others.”
Out of 8,755,458 voter registrations, there was a total of 3,192,069 voter registration violations including:
20,097 illegal duplicates, where the same voter has multiple registrations
43,083 illegal or invalid vote history
28,256 backdated registrations
268,493 registrations where the period of active registration conflicts with the registration participation
448,335 invalid or illogical registration dates
633,508 illegal or invalid registration changes
154,913 registrants with questionable address
1,580,750 registrations with records altered after certification
They found 1,198,598 evident voting violations, and 1,089,750 unique votes impacted by apparent voting violations, including:
8,026 illegal duplicates, where the same voter has multiple registrations.
340,266 invalid or illogical registration dates
632,215 illegal or invalid registration changes
59,609 registrants with questionable addresses
138,291 registrants with altered votes after certification

How can you tell who is telling you the truth? It’s easy. In almost all cases, it’s the people who are not camera shy.
Consider the following:
The Colorado Secretary of State refused to go on camera to answer any questions for the filmmakers
Tina Peters fully cooperated with the filmmakers
Tina Peters doesn’t have a horse in this race: she has never been involved in politics before her election.
The filmmakers do not have a horse in this race (they are focused on other issues) and are known for exposing truth
The evidence speaks for itself. Experts who have looked at the before/after hard disk images call it a “smoking gun.”
Tina lacks the technical skills to have pulled this off. Those who accuse her of modifying the records have yet to show who did the work.
Nobody seems to be able to explain how the corruption of the records happened if the manufacturer was honest.
The State doesn’t seem to want to pursue finding the individual responsible for modifying the election records.
