A few weeks ago, former Senator Benn Sasse quit his job as President at University of Florida. The claimed reason given by Sasse was to care for his wife who has epilepsy, but the timing of things now looks very sketchy.
I’m going to outline the details in real time because this is going to become more critical as Ron DeSantis positions his future ambitions for the White House, again in 2028.
CTH noted a few years ago that Ron DeSantis was positioning for 2024 presidency. One of the supportive datapoints was a $20 million donation by the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) to Ron DeSantis {LINK}. At the time of the donation to DeSantis, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts was the RGA chairman.
After the donation was made, Ron DeSantis then used the influence of his office to support Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse for the position of President of University of Florida {LINK}. As noted by Politico: “Sasse’s sherpa through the university search process was Gov. Ron DeSantis’ chief of staff James Uthmeier, who was put in contact with Sasse several months ago after he quietly expressed interest in becoming UF president.“ (link)
After Ben Sasse accepted the position as UF President, former Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts then became Senator {LINK}. Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen announced Thursday that former Gov. Pete Ricketts will fill the Senate seat of Ben Sasse, who officially resigned from Congress this week to return to academia as president of the University of Florida. Ricketts, a Republican, like Pillen and Sasse, will serve two years ahead of a 2024 special Senate election.
The quid-pro-quo was complete. DeSantis took the $20 million from Chairman Ricketts, then opened the path for Ricketts to move to the Senate by using his office to support the movement of Senator Sasse. Despite the activity taking place over 2 years, the sequence of it was transparent to those who paid attention. However, now comes the problem.
Apparently, Ben Sasse knew there was going to be a serious problem with his first-year conduct in office as UF President. Ben Sasse announced he was quitting the job a few weeks ago {LINK}, and now comes the background issue:
WASHINGTON DC – Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has called for an inquiry into former University of Florida President Ben Sasse’s expenses following a report from the school’s student newspaper about spending tripling under his leadership.
Sasse reportedly spent $17.3 million in his first year as president of the university, which was up from the $5.6 million his predecessor, Kent Fuchs, spent in his last year. A majority of the spending came from big contracts with consulting firms and high-salaried remote positions for former staffers of Sasse while he was a senator.
Bryan Griffin, a communications director for DeSantis, said in a statement that discussions with the university and the Florida Board of Governors are underway.
Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis said the “reports of UF’s exorbitant spending by Ben Sasse’s office are concerning,” and that his agency, the Florida Department of Financial Services, will “offer auditing services” to assist in the inquiry. (read more)
This entire story is so brutally Republican it’s almost laughable.
DeSantis moves from congress to FL Governor in 2018 with intent to run for White House in ’24. Everyone denied it.
DeSantis took $20 million from RGA in 2022 as seed money for his White House run in ’24. Everyone denied it.
DeSantis announced ’24 run, then uses legislature to rewrite rules allowing him to put $20 million into ‘2024 SuperPAC. Everyone denied it.
In the middle of all this, DeSantis shifts Sasse to UF President, RGA head who gave DeSantis $20 million replaces Sasse. Sasse then loots UF, quits and then DeSantis tries to back away from Sasse toward the exits.
After Sasse resigned due to his wife’s epilepsy diagnosis, DeSantis said he wasn’t “involved necessarily” in the selection of Sasse. He made clear that he would not be involved in the selection process for the new president. (more)
But Ron DeSantis is not a professional republican and sketchy, they say… lolol 😂🤣😂

Sundance forgot to mention that DeSantis also signed an amendment to a bill fast tracked by the Florida Senate revising the “resign to run” law in Florida so he could keep his Governor job while running for President in 2024(SB7050). Even more sketchy.
That was mentioned many times in the past.
IIRC, there was even a post on it, maybe a few.
It was mentioned in the past, but not in the list of “sketchy” things DeSantis has done in the Sundance article above. I believe it was worth repeating.
The article above is about Sasse and DeSantis covering his tracks because of it, not a post about all of ‘sketchy’ DeSantis things.
Nice try though.
“Nice try though.”
“Nice try” at what exactly? What are you insinuating? Instead of hinting at someone’s less than stellar patriotism, according to YOU, why don’t you state outright so other people here don’t think they missed something and believe your target is someone to be disliked?
Lol… agreed.
LefttheGOP lileky …. merely forgot that Sundance has mentioned many times the “resign to run” matter… OR lefttheGOP hasn’t been on this site that long so he didn’t know.
The bottom half of the article by Sundance is about the “sketchy” things DeSantis has done to get into the 2024 Presidential election. What don’t you understand?? Sasse is just one part of the that. Not a “try”, a fact.
Don’t forget, that the FL legislature and DeSantis signed legislation into law that has destroyed the Fl housing sector. In 2025 it all comes crashing down.
Is that the new rule about overly-expensive mandatory condo inspections that is leading condo owners to try and sell their abode?
The mandatory condo inspections on buildings over 30 yo are due to the collapse of Sunrise in Miami. Any 30 yo building will have assessments post-inspection. This is why I moved out of my condo just in the nick of time.
The bigger issue is the text of the law requires full expensing up-front for all maintenance expenditures. This means allocations for new roofs, new balconies, new roads, new railings, new elevators must be allocated in full decades before the expenses are expected to be realized. Even well managed condo associations like mine (not like Sunrise) did not do this in the past. The end result is ALL condo association fees have doubled or tripled or are planned to triple AND most places have had assessments to the tune of 10s of thousands. One I heard through the grapevine locally was 40,000. Most condo owners are retired. Some can handle the assessments, most can’t. Some can handle the higher dues, many can not.
The thing that has impacted the ENTIRE Florida housing market is the higher rates of insurance due to Ian destroying part of the West coast that Sundance was in the midst of and has elaborated on at length. People are having double and triple insurance rates. This too has impacted condo dues heavily.
I don’t know why Sally says it all comes down in 2025. People are already being hit hard in the pocket books by these changes especially condo owners. Outside the condo market, homes are still selling in central Florida. Home prices are dropping slowly, if at all. When I moved, the demand for housing here was ridiculous. So, a bit of cooling makes sense.
Hey Sundance — Isn’t it possible ,even likely, that doj is coming after sasse because sasse was the only university president to stand up against the Hamas-mob?
Isn’t sasse the one with cojones to actually put in writing “A university is not a day care”
Sasse was NOT the only school president to stop Hamas protests.
Several stopped them including U of Texas, USC, Emerson, Emory, etc.
BK: Dartmouth, too. Called in the State Police to get rid of the Hamas encampment.
No protestors even considered showing up at Hillsdale College.
No matter how its framed by the perpetrators propaganda machine. Stading for humanity against genocide is a good thing.
You’re arguing with zionist’s. They’re brain dead.
VERY UNLIKELY, IMO. Sasse is swamp. Swamp protects swamp, not ‘go after them’
sasse carries cajones in his cheeks
“After Sasse resigned due to his wife’s epilepsy diagnosis…”
I suppose he couldn’t use breast cancer as an excuse, because the DeSantis family played that card while ramping up Meatball’s run at the nomination.
While not questioning the existence of these medical problems, I am registering my disgust at the way they are weaponized for political purposes.
At this point any politician flapping his wife’s health record around in public should not be trusted. It is a indication of high ambition and low character.
Sounds like Sasse violated the HIPPA law . He could of just used the oldest excuse of all: “I am resigning to spend more time with my family”.
Only if his wife pushes it.
HIPPA prevents health care providers and insurance companies from disclosure of patient info without their written consent.
Mostly right — it’s HIPAA, see the post above.
Lighten up Black Knight…just a little sarcasm here regarding HIPPA and resigning. Wow. However, most families would not want their specific medical situation released to the public as Sasse did about his wife.
First, it’s HIPAA, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. A family member who is given permission by the patient can discuss a medical condition with anyone.
I wouldn’t want my medical condition publicized, but that’s how those types behave.
We don’t know if Sasse had written permission from his wife to release her specific medical condition, but most people would want that to be a private family matter.
Question:
Sasse is 52yrs old … how many grifters wait 52yrs to start grifting ??
– or –
Is this Chamber-of-Commerce, moneywhore behavior – by a RINO politician – who forgot/ignored the fact that WASTING US Tax Dollars on wine-ing & dine-ing Lobbyist Thieves may be a DC norm … BUT … a UF President WASTING Parent’s Tuition Dollars on “consultants” … isn’t ??
Thank you Sundance for another “connect the dots” tutorial.
Sasse has been a grifter for years. The reason he chose to leave congress is because, as a member of the GOP-e, a never-Trumper, he knew his chance of getting re-elected was slim.
Sasse, the same mindset as Jeff Flake. Remember him???? Thank goodness he is also gone.
the last two sentences are so true
My mind is open to the possibility that Sasse simply couldn’t stop spending like a drunken U.S. Senator and failed to transition to a more grown up job.
Wouldn’t it be great if people in Congress could balance a checkbook?
Another example of why repealing the 17th Amendment will not make one damn bit of difference.
Like I always say, you never know what’s going to come out of Ben Sasse.
Also, RINOs really love Ben Sasse.
DeSantis as Rino? Sun rises in West more likely.
Intel deep state
Two kinds of Republicans, MAGA and rino aka Boosh bots.
DeSantis has clearly shown he is not a Trump supporter therefore he needs to be sent packing no matter how much decoration is applied.
People have applied lipstick to that pig for years, but they were never able to hide the pig. Applies to Sasse, also.
Anyone have any additional information concerning Lee County Florida SOE and his Affair with a Subordinate?
Lee Republican Assembly: “The Lee County Republican Assembly wishes to express our deepest sympathy for the victim of the confirmed affair with Tommy Doyle. Our hearts and prayers go out to her for the position she was put into, as well as to Tommy and Donna Doyle and their family during this trying time.
Why can’t these people control their sexual urges? I’ve been propositioned post marriage and I simply lift my left hand and show my ring and say, I wouldn’t have allowed this to be put on my hand if I still cared to go galavanting around for random women.
Why these people can’t do that is beyond me. You’ve got everything to lose. You’re going to destroy another family in many instances. And you’re breaking two commandments. Morons and heathens.
I think that sometimes – maybe most often times – they do it because they think they can. Power trip. Like r@pe.
They want to live like hell but to be considered like angels.
“Why can’t these people control their sexual urges?”
That question is Biblical. The problem is as old as mankind. …
People in power are exceptionally vulnerable to temptation.
Check out King David and his son King Solomon -two of the best kings of Israel. They were sexually tempted and could not resist either despite being two of God’s favorites…
The included photo of Sasse wearing workout cloths at the US Capitol is an act of defiance.
‘Look at me! I can act and dress however I choose.’
He and John Fetterman shop at the same bargain outlet.
Any comment from Christina Pushaw and John Cardillo on this?
Here’ Sasse’s extremely long dissertation detailing his account of what he was spending that money on. Yawn.
https://x.com/BenSasse/status/1824475441933193386
Yawn! Is absolutely correct. What about professors educating students on course curriculums instead of DEI, reverse racism & socialism?
OMG!!
How many of the Senators or Representatives if hired to run your local bank or credit union would you trust with your money?
None, actually. Most of them are economic idiots, let alone not fiscally trustworthy.
Like Julian Assange said,”98% of elected politicians belong in jail”.
Greed for money continues to be the root of most of the evil as the 21st Century’s first quarter comes to a close.
Yet concurrently, the same miscreants spending other people’s money cause $$$ to be worth less each day.
More politicization of academia, more importation of non-instructional content into the curriculum, more on-campus circus acts permitted and promoted by faculty staff and mgmt., more waste of students’ time and school and financial resources including student aid from the federal govt. Higher ed has gone corrupt to rot and politics. What is a degree from one of these places honestly worth, after these people get done adulterating it. What are companies saying who hired graduates, what are they saying about the graduates. Garbage in, garbage out. What are the students saying aboiut what’s going on in class and on campus. What is their smartphone policy, what is their policy on things like campus protests. How many foreign students, how many of them are from places like yemen. We don’t trust politicians BE-cause…
Now you know one of the main reasons the US is $35 trillion in debt. Politicians, including former RINOs like Sasse, love to spend other peoples’ money.
BINGO
Why in the heck would someone with a high profile like Sasse, whose selection already triggered major scrutiny & protests, go in and start grifting immediately? It’s just not smart. Even career criminals know enough to lie low for a while when they’re being watched.
Is Sasse just that unintelligent? Or was it an “Eff you, you can’t touch me” situation?
IMHO, being unintelligent is the FIRST requirement for career politicians. They haven’t got the smarts to survive in any other field. And being unintelligent they are suckers for graft and corruption since they haven’t the intelligence to see the possible outcomes.
Some are very smart. Exceedingly few are honest. Those who are not honest gang together to drive out honest people at any level above the bare entry positions.
I did 15 years of politics part time to full time in my youth. I never made any money. I was decent but not outstanding, but I did not steal. People I knew made money by stealing and reselling (renting) fundraising lists. Some of them were were very smart, some not so much so, but the money came from the money. And the people making money in politics were pretty uniformly corrupt around it.
I had the same question when I read about this. I don’t get why he’d do that right off the bat.
No matter how seriously messed up life and the country becomes, I can still laugh at the Sundance selection of pictures….the fox with the canon camera as well as suspicious cat!
DeSantis left the race but he has not left the headlines or making the tv news spot light…… I believe DeSantis is still running to be Trumps replacement when or if they put Trump in Prison.
Just my 2cents … but i don’t believe DeSantis or TPTB have 2024 in the rear view mirror just yet.
Interesting perspective!
I would agree with you but Nikki Haley & Pompeo would have to be dead in order for DeStupid to make a complete transition into leading the party.
Sasse was being paid at least $500,000 in a Tallahassee state job that required absolutely no heavy lifting whatsoever. Why would he be stupid enough to get himself fired by stealing $$$?
My next question is why so many Republican Mormons prefer Biden, Harris and Obama to Donald Trump?
Disappointing isn’t it? I have a family member that I love dearly but to see she is buying the Communist talking points by posting them ,makes me heartsick.
Sasse is Lutheran.
What am I missing here ?
Sasse is out already? That was fast.
Here’s something even more sketchy. Trump Force Two carrying JD Vance had to make an emergency landing today due to a malfunction in a ‘door seal’. Last week, Trump Force One carrying Donald Trump, had to make an emergency landing. J13 failed……they’re going after the planes….????
The JD plane issue was not today. It was yesterday (Saturday) or Friday.
Yes, Vance’s plane has been on the ground at CVG (Cincinatti/Northern Kentucky) since late Friday from my review.
The door seal event occurred on takeoff from MKE (Milwaukee) and initial pressurization at about 5,000 feet. They returned to the airport uneventfully and left about an hour later.
Heavily used aircraft need service. Sane people stop to allow service. Trump and Vance are both adhering to blistering schedules. Neither one [or at least Trump–who IS very much in charge]–is a master of the universe type with that special stupidity which allows people to ignore aviation mechanics and aviation meteorologists and try to bully reality until reality kills them in aviation accidents.
This is a very reassuring thing about Trump.
They went after the planes throughout Trump’s entire time in office. They went after the entire family’s planes. Many, many times. Thankfully, few were successful and those that were ended as these two incidents.
Never Trump’er Ben Sasse was always scum. A “fiscal conservative” who, once he took over the University of Florida, paid his cronies $400,000 to $800,000 a year for remote work jobs.
There’s no such thing as a “principled” Never Trump’er.
DeSantis administration calls for investigation into former UF President Ben Sasse’s ‘exorbitant spending’The Alligator first reported Sasse more than tripled his office’s spending compared to predecessor
https://www.alligator.org/article/2024/08/desantis-administration-calls-for-investigation-into-former-uf-president-ben-sasse-s-exorbitant-spending
List for some of Sasse’s spending…

Some group approved these expenditures. Additional information needed.
Yes, “consulting” titles are often a ruse to pay someone for little to no actual work.
DeSantis will never be president. I never forget those who have back stabbed DJT. And there are millions just like me. He can’t win a Republican primary.
Surely, at some point, there will be a scandal too big for Desanctimonious to slither away from, right?
I can’t wait until he goes away. He’s a stain on America. The sooner he’s taken out with the trash the better this country will be.
I fear there’s still too many who believe in him and can’t wait to see him on the 2028 ballot. The pretending stops when the strings are exposed.
DeSanctimonious has already defecated in his mess kit. Politically, at least for POTUS ambitions, he is a Dead Man Walking. He appears to be a good governor. He should be content.
He is not a 100% governor, but he is a lot better than the Dem option would have been. He HAS family values and for that I am grateful. Not happy about the law change to let him run for POTUS. Not happy about a couple of other things, but for the most part, Florida is still livable, if you can handle the humidity and mosquitos. the gators mostly stay in their place most of the time. I have had a grown turtle and a baby turtle visit from the drainage ditch a half block away, but, no gators. The grown turtle has lived here for years. The baby I found in my puppy’s mouth, so it picked the wrong fence to crawl under.
Sasse awarded $millions in no bid contracts to McKinsey and Company🤔🤔🤔 –
FYI/FTA – Sasse approached his role with a business mindset. Before becoming Midland president, he worked as a consultant for Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey and Company. He referred to students as “customers” and faculty as “employees.”
https://www.alligator.org/article/2022/10/ben-sasse-at-midland
Meatball can back away from Sasse all he wants, but nothing he does will endear him to MAGA voters again. His bizarre campaign appearances, the open vitriol he had for Trump and MAGA, and his most unnatural and extremely uncomfortable posture and personality (or lack therein of one) can’t and won’t be forgotten. Nor will his public disloyalty to the man (Trump), who drug him across the finish line when he couldn’t seal the deal on his own.
ALL of THAT aside, Florida, especially places like Miami, is in real trouble financially. Especially for those who invested their retirements/savings in condos AND home owners, who are scrambling trying to find affordable home owners’ insurance. Add to that rising rents, inflation, strain on the state in general due to people moving there in droves from other states AND the ones who shouldn’t be here at all in the first place(illegals).
IMO old Ronny cooked his goose and what was left of his political career, when he and his bride took the money and ran against the man who got him elected in the first place. Secondly, this isn’t 1988, he’s no Bush, and we now have an internet .
The condo situation is a result of the collapse of the Sunrise condos and law changes forcing HOA’s to cover future replacements to common areas in full up front instead of pro rata. That and forced inspections of 30 yo buildings and the consequent assessments. Many condos were poorly managed and did not put aside enough to manage future known expenses. Even well managed places struggle to have the whole funding of elevators, balconies, roads up front through condo dues. This has little to do with Ron.
The insurance problems are due to Ian’s destruction. Maybe Ron could have done more to make insuring homes easier, maybe not.
Ron’s competition for governor would have been far, far more problematic. I prefer Ron’s wholesome family oriented positions to what the gay druggie would have imposed on us.
Sounds like some money laundering going on. There is a lot of dark money flowing through FL from other entities, trying to tack on amendments to our state constitution. Slowly but surely the worm turns.
We’ll see how the Make Marijuana legal amendment goes. Millions of dollars are being poured into something that’s not even necessary on it’s face. No one gets arrested for it anymore.
I have noticed a trend with DeSantis, he offers positions to people he deems a threat to his own and the Uni Party needs.
He offered the same position at another college to a FL legislator who is MAGA.
Leave Florida alone, not everyone wants their state to be blue.
Both DeSantis and Sasse are big shills for calling for an Article V Constitutional Convention which brilliant minds since our Founding have warned against. Once again, we are told something is safe and effective when is truth the Con-Con is neither safe nor effective. It opens us up to a globalist take over. Please do your own research before falling for the Hannity, Heritage Foundation and Levin deception.
I totally agree – a Con-Con would open up the constitution for a rewrite by Democratic operatives. It is presented as a way for conservatives to prevail, but that is in no way assured. It is at best a risky endeavor. Secession is a much more viable alternative.
I haven’t seen this mentioned yet, so apologies in advance if it has.
Sasse’s “selection” is yet another example of the Desantis controlled Legislature handing him what he wants on a silver platter. Meanwhile, they are pissing off enough Floridians to not vote for a REPUBLICAN ever again. Desantis screwed “Gator Nation”, not a small tribe. Desantis is screwing Florida.
Article below is from the newspaper in Jacksonville, Florida which flipped from Red to BLUE.. and elected a FLAMING LIBERAL as MAYOR while Desantis was on his “book tour”
“Above all, secrecy was key to Sasse’s elevation.
Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a law earlier this year making applications for college presidential openings confidential, effectively cloaking the process in secrecy until the very end stages. From the outset, it was clear that the law was intended to give crucial cover as Florida’s benighted college boards considered overtly political candidates for the lucrative, powerful positions heading the state’s universities.”
https://www.jacksonville.com/story/news/columns/nate-monroe/2022/10/07/nate-monroe-ron-desantis-defiles-uf-selection-ben-sasse-president/8205404001/
“Meanwhile, they are pissing off enough Floridians to not vote for a REPUBLICAN ever again.” This is mot true at all, we are more resolved to vet and vote America First candidates. In fact in November the results will be startling, a lot of RINOS will be gone baby gone.
I was talking more about long term, not necessarily this November and not the primary happening now.
BTW, NOVEMBER is NOT when we get rid of RINOs. By that time, it is between Dems and Republicans. We get rid or RINOs RIGHT now.. as in TUESDAY of this week with the Repulican primary. THIS is when incumbent Republicans face a Republican opponent. I do hope you realize this. The RINOs are out-funded 10:1 and are running against grassroots candidates RIGHT NOW.
The Democrats have this down. Peter Strzok and Victoria Nuland are professors at Georgetown & Columbia University respectively. Maybe the RINOs were setting up the University of Florida for the same purpose and couldn’t make it work?
I don’t know. I DO KNOW that Desantis and his controlled legislature paved the way.
Sasses was Dennis Hasterts favorite wrestling partner back in the days of the congressional page program
Sundance…I enjoyed your “connect the dots” and find that pretty good info. However, I’m somewhat disappointed by your “jump the gun” comment that : “Apparently, Ben Sasse knew there was going to be a serious problem with his first-year conduct in office as UF President. Ben Sasse announced he was quitting the job a few weeks ago {LINK}, and now comes the background issue:”
First off…there is no evidence (yet at least!) of a problem with his first-year conduct (or any other year). His office budget increased yes…but for reasons fully approved by the Board of Trustees.
Two, your post insinuates that the reason given for his resignation last month (his wife’s illness took a turn for the worse) is a lie…when the article regarding the “financial problem” didn’t get published until last week. If you think The Alligator researched and sat on the original story for almost a month before publishing it…you should know how unlikely that is. It would have been published within a few days in such a case.
I know your article is mostly about DeSantis and the quid pro qou’s…and Sasse’s being awarded the UF Presidency was part of DeSantis’s and Republican Party officials’ grand national ambitions plan…but Sasse turned out to be a great UF President based on what he managed to get accomplished in the short time he was there. I recommend that you review Sasse’s response on X to the “controversy” (which helps ONLY Democrats) and give the man the benefit of the doubt for now. (I’m sure if there is an actual dumpster fire here….it will come out…after all…the entire thing can only hurt Republicans…so the media is all over it…)
PS – I have a kid at UF and am highly disappointed that Sasse is leaving and they are bringing Fuchs back on an interim basis.
Let’s hope Florida taxpayers get to see those 17.3 million worth of improvements to UF…
Not likely? Maybe then bring the cheaper guy back.
So what DID Sasse accomplish there? Besides create new financial issues.
Slaving away as King of University of Florida must be one horrible job!
Are we to believe he took a paycut to take this job?
DeSantis has his own problems. Sasse did THIS to Florida families.
UFParent, no need to get your panties twisted. “Insinuation” is an equivocal statement, not an assertion. It can’t be a “lie”.
So, Ben Sasse persuaded the board to spend a whole bunch of money with no guarantee of results. No one is going to call that a conservative approach, especially for a first-year employee. The whole thing reeks of questionable policy or corruption. What did BS do to earn his Yuge salary?
I’ll say it again.
This seems to be a season of retribution and karma.
One of the first things Trump should do once back in office is have his DOJ lock DeSantis up.
Why the only hope for America is God. These are the Days of Noah. There was room on the Ark for way more people than the 8. But none qualified.
So disgusted with the thieving. The lies. There is really no difference in any of them. Vote them all out and this goes for the Communist Tyrant Joe Gruters and the con man Jimmy Patronis. These Florida Republicans make the Cuban Communists look like Pikers.
The more things change the more they stay the same.

How ironic. Another legislative favor for DeSantis was to SEAL HIS EXPENSES,
when he was illegally running for President and Resign to Run law had not kicked in yet.
So no one will know how much he spent and how he spent it. It’s all sealed up.
I am impressed with how you, Sundance, lay it all out so clearly.
DeSantis is such a scumbag. Stabbing people in the back is a way of life for DeSantis.
They are saying “Judge” Merchan, in NY, wants to sentence Trump to Riker’s prison and ideally without Secret Service protection. This SOB bidded his time looking for the most political impact – September when some states are voting.
Trump 2024
Let’s see if Dan Bongino mentions this story at all on his podcast and radio show this week. I expect 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗.
Speaking as a Nebraskan, none of this surprises me one iota.
I am embarrassed to be from the purple state of Nebraska where the RINOs shine brightly on the national stage.
Okay we get it, you don’t like DeSantis. If something were to happen to Trump then who would you want as the Republican nominee. Discuss!
there are plenty of other GOP candidates who have stood up in the House to the current administration’s nonsense and are MAGA. DeSantis is not MAGA. So, what. He is a lot better than what Florida could have had from the Dems, a drugged up closet gay dude. DeSantis is ambitious, most politicians are. The profession is not known for its integrity, although it would be nice to see some. I still prefer DeSantis’s family positive positions to what could have been. Integrity and MAGA are still on my wish list.
