President Trump has appointed Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick as co-chairs of the transition team. However, President Trump has also appointed JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump as honorary chairs, likely with veto authority over any staffing recommendation.
Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick provide a solid, intelligent, pragmatic and emotionally disconnected perspective. There is a strong likelihood both Co-Chairs understand how the DC system and IC will respond to a 2024 victory and position the attack in 2025.
As the primary voice who advocated to put JD Vance into position, Donald Trump Jr has found his passion in politics, strongly believes Vance will be the 2028 candidate, and seems to be positioning himself to be the VP on the ’28 Vance ticket. Citizenship is an adopted political status; a citizen is a person (not a living being, but rather a political construct) that owes an obligation to a state. No one is born that way. Unfortunately, when your birth is registered you you are unlawfully converted, on paper, from a living being into a dual legal person, a U.S. Citizen (an indentured servant) and subsequently a US Citizen of the United States(slave). A person only needed one US citizen parent to qualify as a natural born (as opposed to naturalized) citizen.

Seems glaringly problematic to me and not what our founding fathers intended when the included NBC as a requirement to be Potus. It’s just this one position in the US Govt that requires a person must be a NBC.
The Founders included NBC as a requirement for this ONE job (VP too 4 the same reason)… so that there would be NO legal ties between the US President and a foreign govt… They wanted just a little window of separation between a POTUS and his ties and potential loyalies to foreign countries and governments.

Obama’s presidency and Kamala’s run for the presidency have muddied the water tremendously. I have always questioned the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency, not on whether he was actually born IN the United States but whether his father was a natural born citizen of the US. However, since his real father is purported to be Frank Marshall Davis (who was a citizen of the US), in a situation where someone seriously called O out on this, his fallback would be that Davis is his real dad, making O’s presidency legit.

I think it comes from de Vatell “The Law of Nations” 1758, but in light of the XIV Amendment I think it most likely any court would decide there are two ways to obtain citizenship: natural born or naturalized. Gavin Newsom from 2001 – 2006 and then worked as a legal analyst for CNN before moving to Fox News and then to the Trump super PAC.

Question is not about the wiles of neocons but about the wisdom of close relatives. Jared Kurshner and Ivanka were very smart, pretty effective, but ultimately unreliable. They helped Trump achieve a lot in the Middle East but not as much in America. Concern here is that Jr. has more swagger but less ability than his sibs. As someone says, We’ll just have to see.

Sundance has repeatedly brought Melania’s feelings about Barron and her husband’s political life up, and I assume it is for a reason besides gossip.
One thing I have noticed, President Trump allows the mothers of his children to be the mothers. That’s IMO why his children turn out well in spite of divorce, he doesn’t compete with their mothers or fight with them.

Melania is a very private person. Her husband knows he is a walking talking target for another assassination. If they can not get to him, it is typical they would go after his wife or children. Trump wants them SAFE. His two older sons and daughter in law, are clearly casting that concern aside. They are all in no matter what. As for the rest of his transition team, I don’t know that much about them.
I am just glad we don’t have any LBGTQ+ people involved so far. As another imperfect Christian, if we want God’s help, we can not elevate these people into positions of authority. I’d rather see LBGTQ+ get the help they need and live a normal straight life. You can not have it both ways. You have to either live your life with God’s teachings or man’s teachings.
