With the announcement of the 2025 transition team well in advance, you might note that President Donald Trump is taking a much more aggressive stance on the vetting of potential members of his administration. This is a critical and necessary proactive plan; it should be considered a very good sign.
President Trump has appointed Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick as co-chairs of the transition team. However, President Trump has also appointed JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump as honorary chairs, likely with veto authority over any staffing recommendation.
Linda McMahon and Howard Lutnick provide a solid, intelligent, pragmatic and emotionally disconnected perspective. There is a strong likelihood both Co-Chairs understand how the DC system and IC will respond to a 2024 victory and position the attack in 2025.
As the primary voice who advocated to put JD Vance into position, Donald Trump Jr has found his passion in politics, strongly believes Vance will be the 2028 candidate, and seems to be positioning himself to be the VP on the ’28 Vance ticket. Eric Trump is the silent, stable, strategic and smart apple closest to the tree.

The part that’s missing is Melania.
First Lady Melania Trump will likely be far less prominent in a successful second term. Given a confluence of events before Butler, PA, and in the lead up to the GOP convention, it was very obvious that Melania Trump was intentionally extracting her son Barron Trump away from U.S. politics.
I don’t usually entertain speculation media, but the recent storyline on Page Six aligns with the visible data. If Barron attends New York University, it makes sense that protective Melania (and her sister) would want to be close.

It is not and likely will not be used as “money” in the spirit of your question. While that was the original intent, at least today, we can say with confidence digital assets are not being used as money they are being held as assets. In terms of your other question “what guarantee do we have …”….you are speaking to the problem of central bank digital currencies NOT digital assets and this is not a distinction without a difference. The latter (digital assets) cannot be taken over by governments which is exactly the reason they are a target for those that desire power. Rest assured, CBDC’s will not be assets.

I don’t understand the precipice of what she is doing. She is not campaigning, she showed up at the convention and never spoke up for President Trump. Yes, she showed up. Yes, Barron is her first concern, as it should be, but she is also a wife. What would her duties actually be now, other than being a mom? She doesn’t run anything in his businesses. He has provided her with many opportunities to run businesses. She did QVC with jewelry and makeup, other than that I don’t know of anything she has done post her marriage. She seemed to have a very good career modeling and I read she is without a doubt a millionaire on her own creds.
I think “her job” is to make sure her son is somebody to reckon with. Why should she have a separate job? Her focus is to guide Barron so he doesn’t do stupid kid stuff or get taken advantage of.
It’s not like he is just some regular kid. I would say he is being raised more like a prince of the royal family. And there is nothing wrong with that, given their wealth and business empire.

From past interview I recall Melania saying being president is Donald’s job and something like she does not typically go to work with them. They both are very independent and both have their own careers. (Paraphrased).

Barron has know how different his life has been from his first memory. Fortunately, he’s an introvert. At his age I was extremely introverted. I expected he is comfortable with the choices being made and that he is a part of those choices.
I think it is extremely wise to go forth with this arrangement. NY is a quick flight to DC. She will be there for the important events, but why should she hunker down in a sick, evil city where those evil people never appreciated her or what she did.

Mr. Lutnick was CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, that lost around 650 employees on Sept. 11. He not only rebuilt his company in record time,after all was lost, but took care of the families of the employees lost that day.

I concur, although it is none of my business. I can say what I would do as my husband tried to secure a 2nd term. I have had my dummycrat friends state that without a doubt she hates him because she is never with him. That is how their minds work, something to chew on. He has said she is very private but in all the pre 2016 election stuff there were tons of pics of her and President Trump out on the town with friends of the opposite side now. Dummycrats loved them and they were involved in tons of charity, etc. Maybe she feels they have all turned on her.

It is more dangerous these days, given how much the Left has tried to stop PDJT. Especially since the attempted assassination. It would not surprise me at all if he and Melania decided she would not be present as much in this campaign, for her own safety and for Barron’s. And they don’t owe anyone an explanation for why and how they do things. For all we know her own security protectors have advised them to make her less visible.
Should she want to be friends with people that would turn on her that easily? If someone would want to remain friends with someone that would cut them off due to their beliefs, especially the belief of saving America, they are nuts. And those people that turned on them can kiss right off and I would be glad I know their true colors.

Pure speculation. We don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. They could have been advised to make her less visible for her own protection, or DJT and Melania could have decided together to keep her less visible for her safety and Barron’s. Why human beings always seem to gravitate to the most negative scenario in speculating is beyond me.

Hoping that Melania will pull their son out of ANY university in NYC, or NY State for that matter. Why is Barron not at, say, Hillsdale College, where he could receive a balanced and comprehensive classical education from a noncorrupted faculty?

I remember when our daughter began college. It was hard for us to step back, but we learned to do so. Her coming home every summer to work with her dad helped the transition. It’s sad, but needs to be. One chapter ends, and another begins. We let our daughter fly her wings, and we don’t regret it. It’s hard for parents, and oh so poignant. But it is the normal transitions of life. The passage of time is the challenge.
I would want to be close to my son, but I also would want to support my husband, who is responsible for her being able to be in the position she is. But, that is just me. *shrugs* I think she could do both, responsibly and safely. NYU is a very liberal university from everything that I have read. I really wonder where Melania stands politically. I hope that she’ll delegate the duties necessary for the First Lady to someone who would be happy doing them, knowing they are just duties, not considered a real part of the administration. They went after her so badly in the first term, her friends turned on her, I really don’t blame her but I’m the type of person that is like DJT, to hell with them and do the exact opposite of what they want lol
I understand if she wants to play a much smaller role as FLOTUS, and I’m sure that many of those who she once considered friends have betrayed her deeply. I would step back from the cameras, too.
But allow me a selfish thought: I do hope that she will plan and direct the White House Christmas decorations again–remember those beautiful scenes and rooms?? And those state dinners with her exquisite, classy touch?? Elegance. Pure elegance. These were extensions of the beauty that she has to her bones.

People are speculating about where Melania will live if President Trump is able to overcome the Steal this time. I recall reading that she doesn’t plan to live in WH full time, but she does plan to fulfill any expected presentation, State dinners, Christmas and Easter events, etc.
I don’t like to think there’s trouble, but my heart breaks when I think how gracious she was, always, and worked so hard at the expected projects, always doing a lovely job, and the evil left treated her abominably. This is a woman who immigrated legally, all on her own, after having grown up and known a truly communist system, made her own monies long before she met and married Donald Trump, yet the language I read referring to her makes me ashamed of my fellow citizens.
Whatever she does we can count on it being done beautifully, including raising her son in a healthy environment.
I’m grateful for her, and for her efforts.
As I recall, she didn’t live in the WH full time last time. She spent time at home rearing Barron. Our country has not been kind to her. Yes, whatever she does is done beautifully and with grace.

I think we are in an era where it does not seem at all odd that Melania doesn’t want to be in DC attending dinners and state functions.
She is very elegant and stately, but she does not seem the type that wants to do the Vanna White thing only to put up with the criticism that is nonstop vicious spittle.
While she could lend her name and presence to good causes or fundraising, and perhaps she will find a platform she is interested in, I think it makes perfect sense for her to allow him to fully apply himself to his work and for her to do her own thing with her family.

Trump keeps mentioning that he did not arrest Hillary when he could have done it. Then he explains that it would have been so bad if he had arrested a wife of a former president. He indicates it would have been bad for the country. Will the bad guys be so circumspect and honorable? Just something to think about. Pray for our leaders and our country.

Don Jr is a bit of a show off, but he is stable. Implying otherwise is a little over the top.
I do believe Melania is keeping a firm hand on Barron, however, Barron is a Trump. He has a strong personality, and he dabbles in politics behind the scenes. He is friends with Bo Loudon and Adian Ross who youngsters on the internet circuits. Moms have tendencies to hold on too tight. Melania is a good woman, mom, wife, sister…but she cannot hold on too tight. Barron will do what he must. He is not the normal 18 yr old. Much is expected of him…his road is riddled with unknowns.
