I do not know if any request can be made to the SCOTUS in advance of this commie charade, but it better be in process now. They do not return from recess until afterward, but hopefully one of the justices could act to delay any sentencing until the full court can hear arguments to vacate the conviction.
I don’t know how it would be done, but surely something is in place like this to go to the Supreme Court. The notion of imprisoning a presidential candidate on such flimsy charges is just awful. Like Venezuela or Nicaragua.
What concerns me is a piece I read by Andy McCarthy saying that under New York law, judges can order the sentence to be imposed immediately, so this crooked judge could order him to jail right after sentencing. It would cause a massive outcry for sure but would derail a key phase of the campaign.

Yesterday I heard about a guy who was living in SF. The guy was in rehab after losing his whole family due to drug use – apparently fentanyl. He said he couldn’t get over wanting the next high and eventually they found him propped against the door of the rehab facility – gone forever.

Conservative journalist, pundits, commentators, consultants, etc that are supposed to cover the issues of the day with a conservative view. They mostly have agreed that Trump should tone it down, speak more about policy and not be so Trump.
To me, these same conservatives messengers have no sense of urgency that our country is going to hell and we are losing our Republic.
They write about or talk about Trump, Kamala, Vance, Walz, Biden and other political figures in terms of their past records, personalities, current political rallies, debates, etc. Just superficial stuff about our current election process.
What they don’t write about, with passion, is our country is going to hell. Our government institutions are corrupt, the media is corrupt and controlled by a fascist government, our elections have been corrupted, our educational institutions are corrupted, on an on.
There is so much to bring attention to that is causing our country to be in the current state we are in that could possibly open some eyes as to the probability that if we don’t fix these fundamental flaws it will be virtually impossible to turn our country around.
A good start would be election integrity since we are closing in on our next major election. Unfortunately, that seems to be a minor issue to most. They do not or will not even recognize that the 2020 election was ripe with corruption. Few are even curious why vote counting was stopped in several swing states or it has been shown that electronic voting machines can be easily hacked and votes changed. There is no urgency to stop using them. And, there are so many things that happened to make the election corrupt, but it’s just a ho hum, we’ll get around to fixing this sometime.
They mainly cover things to generate controversy about candidates instead of the root causes of our coming demise. They want Trump to talk only about policies while they encourage character assessment issues of the candidates.

Most of it is attributable to crime, then you have cost of doing business (raise in min wage) forcing companies to close stores… people cannot shop freely because stuff is locked up so they turn to online shopping. States imposing hefty taxes, onerous rules…. Myriad of reasons and none to do with Amazon other than people don’t have to worry about being mugged, raped, murdered or that the stuff they want to buy is under lock and key and no sales clerk around… By the way, Walmart is doing really well – they have online shopping too.

There is a subdivision going up down the road from us. It went up quick, has over 100 homes built or almost completed, with more added daily and only 2 actually occupied.. Normal subdivisions in our past experience have maybe one road that is currently in construction with mixture of stages of construction, and all for sale–and they wait to sell some and get $$ before starting new ones. This place is almost completely built. My husband asked—who has this money? (Black Rock????). Sign is advertising them for rent–not for sale. 3-4 BR homes with about 8 foot between the homes and about 20 feet or less of backyard. Step up from apartments. Never seen anything like it.

There are reports that the U.S. is considering giving Ukraine long-range air-launched JASSM cruise missiles, which probably means that Ukraine already has them, along with the F16s (or other aircraft) that can carry and launch them.
I’m expecting to see an air raid on Moscow at some point. Russia continues to demonstrate that they have no redlines, which is why this is inevitably going to spiral completely out of control.

The Groyper war on the Trump campaign continues to escalate. At Nick Fuentes’ command, his followers are now spamming the email accounts of high-ranking campaign officials, although the nature of said emails are unclear.
Because of the spamming, both Chris LaCivita and Jason Miller have deactivated their respective accounts, meaning that if you try to email them your message will bounce back as undeliverable. Of course, the Groypers are counting this as a victory and citing it as evidence that LaCivita and Miller are about to be fired, if they haven’t been already. Whether or not that is the case is yet to be seen.
The immediate question is, how long will Trump put up with these antics? Assuming he’s not planning to give in to their demands, surely he doesn’t appreciate them in the slightest.
