You can tell he is a little twitchy about it, that’s why he is talking about Georgia, Ohio and Florida. If Clyburn was confident in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Nevada, he would not be mentioning any other state. He’s not confident.
Additionally, Clyburn talks about spending time with Tim Walz campaigning and getting to know him. Something that came up in discussion n Rich (AngryCops) video about Tim Walz just leapt back to mind. He was wondering how on earth that Walz could manage to retire early out of his contract in spite of what should have been an automatic Stop-Loss with his deployment orders.
It makes sense if he was ‘retired’ out because he was caught, and the Army wanted to keep matters quiet. There’s a lot of Officers and Senior NCOs who have been ‘retired’ out early to avoid scandals…
Great point and observation. This happened at a few bases I was assigned too during my time in the Air Force. Sometimes it was officers getting caught having inappropriate relationships with junior enlisted, and those officers where quietly transferred out to a new assignment. At two bases it was the Command Chief Master Sergeant caught having the inappropriate relationship and then quietly retiring.
