The plane in the video looks like Tanker 911, owned/operated by 10 Tanker Air Carrier out of Albaquerque, NM. I didn’t realize Bridger Aerospace, who Sheehy had worked for until recently, had been or is associated with Tanker 10.
AFAIK, Bridger doesn’t operate any VLAT’s (very large air tankers). They do operate Bombardier CL415’s, a versatile twin turboprop amphibious aerial tanker platform. I’ve seen those.
I found it a bit disheartening that, if he was there at the begining, Tanker 10 didn’t acknowlege him in any way. In fact, absent some annecdotes from Brad Tuttle who apparently has worked there continuously from the early 80’s, 10T’s early history is a mystery.
Perhaps I took the article to literally. ‘His plane’ could mean an aerial firefighting plane. In any event, I became more educated about current fire activity in Montana and gained more granular details about the various companies 👍

New: Trump plans a light campaign sked for August that defies convention.
It also contrasts w Aug 2016, when Trump held 27 rallies in 15 states. He later won most of those states in Nov.
So far this month, Trump has held 1 rally.
Why not better use those resources after Labor day when people are paying more attention than in August when there is a Democrat convention in a week and when many people are on vacation?
But this is what I would expect someone from CNBC to focus on as a distraction.
He really doesn’t need to be as active as he did in 2016. . People know him now and what he has been able to do as President. Save his money time and energy for October.

As far as rallies, the base loves them, but dang it, guys, the man got shot!
His family, particularly Melania and Barron, were really effected by that event.
Doing what hs’s doing now, while Kamala and the Dems are heading to their convention, is likely a smart move. Media coverage is focused there.
Once Kamala is annointed at the convention, President Trump has 2 months to go full steam. Momentum going into early voting is important because people have short attention spans.
For the next couple weeks, JD is running the media circuit and doing a good job.

Thanks, don’t know the gent but understand his POV. I did a bit of recon and he was a big player at one time and still has over a million subscribers on Youtube. Getting and keeping a million subscribers is no small feat.
I found his viral video that apparently kicked things off about a year ago, with over 33 million views. I watched it in a nude browser to see how YT handled it and it is currently front-end monetized. If it’s always been that way those kind of watch #’s would equate to 120-150 grand off one video. He has a number of videos with between 5 and 10 million views. If monetized, figure about five grand per million.
Worth a listen IMO; it’s only three minutes long and is music with a message.
More generally, I still maintain that those who get money from Alphabet for content posted on Youtube are supporting the Communist regime with their work product, plus, in the case of viral videos like the one above, paying back the regime a portion of their earnings in direct taxes and also indirect taxes on their comfortable lifestyle. There are scores of Youtube millionaires out there living large to a great degree only from online entertainment.
When he mentioned AI creating music I thought, yeah, when computer code started running machine tools autonomously, it put machinists like myself out of a job if we couldn’t adapt or retrain. Evolution. It affects everything, from widgets to art/music to getting a burger and fries.

Ukraine has hit the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant with drones. The cooling systems building has caught fire – it was announced that the ZNPP has serious infrastructure damage.
As usual, the UN observers have done nothing. Said that they had been notified of a drone attack (did not say who did it) and that they saw some smoke. They also said that “No impact has been reported for nuclear safety.”
And of course, the western leadership and media are silent.
There is no reason for Russia to hit a nuclear power plant under its own control.

I had posted a story upthread, published by Ukrainian state media, that local officials were attributing the fire to burning tires inside one of the cooling towers based on information they’d received and blamed the Russians for starting it.
Burning tires do make dense black smoke.
Such an obvious event could be used for Russian propaganda purposes. Truth in war zones is fungible.

Across India there has been an outpouring of support for Trump after Saturday’s assassination attempt, primarily from the ruling Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, whose leader, Modi, famously got along with Trump when he was president.
BJP leaders and supporters are adopting the incident as part of their own struggle, and see it as yet another example of how right-wing leaders around the world are being victimized.
Hopefully that’s the same attitude of the Indian immigrants who have become U.S. citizens, and the people born here of Indian parents.
It won’t be. In the US, they’ll become more Hindu Indians, and rail against the Christian majority. Of course, not all but most from what I noticed from my friends.
Kamala’s a Baptist, not a Hindu. And I think U.S. citizen Indians recognize her as a fake. We’ll see what happens. Biden lost a significant amount of their support from 2020, I don’t think Kamala running as President will regain it.
