Being a lifetime professional in the software industry, I can frankly tell you that I have never encountered an “intrusion” that could actually be laid at the feet of “external hackers.” It was always “an inside job.”
The analogy I use is this: “A couple of crooks walk down the street and enter an office building at random. An hour later, they walk out with the Crown Jewels of England.” You’d laugh at the absurdity of it. But somehow, you accept an identical story of “far-away hackers.”

Totally disagree. The intruders always start from the outside. An extremely small number of intrusions are inside jobs, mostly when an employee is approached by an outsider and paid or bribed to do something nefarious.
With the end point, intrusion detection, access monitoring, and execution protection applications available today, it can be absurdly easy to stop intrusion attempts from being successful.
The problem: basic systems security and monitoring is not fully implemented. I’ve seen it happen in real time, and after the fact. Most people, organizations, governments, and companies don’t want to spend the money and/or make the effort. Accountants demand ROI. When a successful intrusion does take place causing untold monetary damages, that demand for ROI doesn’t mean spit.
If proper and appropriate systems security, vendor updates, and security policies are in place and enforced, the probability of a successful intrusion approaches zero.

The difference is that Joe Biden was their legitimate candidate. How could he justify denying the debate when he was the one who challenged Joe in the first place?
The fact that mail in balloting is still in place across the entire USA is a red flag that the enemy is still able to cheat quite handily. There have been some improvements in certain states to protect the votes of citizens, but it will be a challenge to overcome the cheating, a big one as long as mail in ballots exist. There is little room for error on the Trump campaign’s part and they need to now step up their game as early voting will begin soon.

The replies to that article are something to read. It makes a good point for sure and all my family was taught proper manners, to a point. Respecting yourself and others was the most important point my parents instilled in me and my siblings. If people would just remember to be respectful and considerate of each other, we would be a much happier society.
Kids, seemingly, don’t learn much of that for the most part these days. The disrespect they consistently show their elders in so many situations is sad to see. Working in education for many years, I have seen how the youngsters in greater numbers have changed in what is taught at home as far as respect for others is concerned. The parents right now are nearly as disrespectful as their children. A great reflection on what society will become shows up in how the children in schools behave.
I swear there is a generation of parents that don’t believe their children can do anything wrong and should be allowed to act as rudely as they please.
I blame the parents. Teach your children some manners or somewhere down the line somebody will and they won’t like it.
I think that has had an impact on some people’s decision not to have children.
They see parents kowtowing to their bratty kids, letting them annoy others in public places, and they don’t want a child for themselves, because they think that’s how it has to be.
I knew a family with more than 3 kids that set no boundaries at all. I’ve lost touch with them. Even when we were still friends, I was continually amazed at what such good kids they were. I occasionally wonder what became of them.
It is the poor example being set in DC that is a portion of the problem…..(I think)

Diversity is our strength? Whose strength? For some reason many people see all blacks as being identical to those we see featured in the MSM, the ghetto blacks concentrated in a number of American cities.
What people don’t get is that the blacks causing the most trouble in those places aren’t even representative of the majority of blacks living there.
What we see on the news is carefully curated to make us hate each other.
Why did we even know about a black man who died of a fentanyl overdose, outside of the media where he lived?
Because someone chose to elevate and amplify the George Floyd story.
Another thing, we speak of a stolen election, but in the next breath claim to know with absolute certainty which group we don’t like is responsible for putting someone like Joe Biden in the White House (single white women, blacks, etc.).
So, did blacks vote Biden in, or was the election stolen? It can’t be both.
Well, actually it CAN be both, to a degree.
If majority urban blacks participate in a lot of ballot harvesting, scooping up phantom ballots from housing projects, large apt. complexes, homeless shelters, nursing homes, etc. that is ONE of their major sources, military ballots being another, any ethnic enclave really, has potential for ballot harvesting.
Of course that’s true in many cases. However, the inner city blacks and whites are more lawless and dependent on the govt. and the crime stats tend to prove that. I have several friends who teach in inner city public schools and the absentee rates and discipline problems are horrendous.
One of them teaches 8th graders and she says they come into class, migrate to the back of the room and totally ignore her as the teacher or tell her to shut up when she tries to engage them to pay attention and participate. This is SOP for nearly all the teachers in her school, not just her.
The few students who do want to learn are being punished by the disruptions of the others. Some come into class high and they use their phones whenever they feel like it. The parents do not help at all, if they even can be contacted. The kids don’t want to learn, have no respect for any teachers and she gets no help from her principal nor the administrators up the ladder. They have rules in place now that detention and homework are not to be enforced with certain groups of students of certain races, to just let things go and move the kids on to the next grade. It’s a complete farce that education is going on in these places for the majority of kids. No family help, no administrative help and the kids are lost. She only continues to teach there now because she is near retirement and does not want to make a big change. She continues to try and engage the students and even a little success at times is welcomed. This is the truth I see in my school system.
It’s very depressing to see what is covered up in our society in the USA now. Most people know there are issues but not many realize how bad it truly is in some areas like education and yes unfortunately, the black kids are the majority of those at risk and are not being educated properly so they can have a productive happy future. Imagine how many will be dragged into crime and drugs because they are uneducated and have no way out. There are thousands of them in my city area alone. Imagine how many more there are across the country who will grow up to be dependent on the taxpayers to live. Imagine the future costs for the crimes that will inevitably be coming from all this.
You associate with the lucky ones who made sure they did the right things for their families, were raised by good parents, had religion and their churches to fall back on and are raising their kids to be good adults. There are many who are not even close to doing that.
This is not ignorant hate towards any one group, although the left wants to make it seem that way, to divide us. It just is a fact that this is real and happening everyday in this country. It’s a disgrace really that it is being hidden and glossed over. Those people, especially the kids, need to have people who tell it straight and then work to correct it. P Trump was well on the way to doing just that during his first term and Dr. Carson was helping him. It needs to become a reality again.

I had heard that they added break dancing, I knew that there was a push to get dance added as a sport, which I find ridiculous, but there are always some new things being introduced to see how they go, so oh, well.
A younger friend of mine is very interested in the break dancing, and he was talking about the Australian woman and how she wasn’t very good, and I was seeing passing mention of this online as well.
I also saw a short video, which I thought was maybe part of some new kind of gymnastics, some woman writhing on the floor in a track suit.
Last night I found out that was the Australian “break dancer” they’ve been talking about, but what I saw was definitely not break dancing.
I also found out what was behind the bizarre performance. This is a very Woke academic doing this in pursuit of some kind of research or something.
Australia truly has fallen, and now they are rubbing their noses in it. This nuttery being allowed brings shame on the Australian delegation.

So I looked into this. I thought maybe I should feel sorry for the woman, athletes can choke, and maybe it was cruel for people to be making fun of her. Alternatively, I thought it may be possible she was led up the garden path, told she was good break dancer when she wasn’t, and I can’t imagine anything more humiliating than realising you are in fact not a talented athlete on the world stage.
Turns out Rachael Gunn here has a PhD in cultural studies, with a speciality in the gender politics of movement and breakdance. She has written about how including break dance in the Olympics changes it from a practice within an alternative subculture, to a hegemonic one that incorporates the dance into what she sees as Australia’s settler colonialist project. I am 100% certain what she is doing here, in wearing the Australia kit even, is trying to make some subversive point she can later write journal articles about.
This whole episode is demonstrative of the supreme selfishness of woke identity politics studies. Her little stunt diminishes Australia on the world stage. Hundreds of Australian athletes who will have dedicated their entire lives to athletic excellence will be forgotten, because Rachael wanted to bulk up her ResearchGate profile. Rather than their medals and efforts, this is what Australia will be remembered for.
Not to mention the disastrous effect this will have on break dancing as a sport. Its position in the Olympics is not secure, and surely won’t be taken seriously after this. Good job Rachael, you really showed those chauvinist nationalists, hundreds of women and girls will not get their Olympic opportunity now.
Rachael represents so much of what is totally lecherous about cultural studies academics. Pick a subject area that will be under-studied in your context, so you can rise through the ranks quickly (how many break dancing academics will there be in Australia?), and wreak absolute havoc in lives of the people you want to study.
