It obviously wasn’t an issue that affected flight or landing control / capabilities – evidenced by the smooth landing in Billings, MT – but one that requires fixing to maintain maximum safety. Think of the gazillion onboard sensors and indicators, the dozens of door / port latches, not to mention the racks and racks of PCBs in the control and guidance systems area below deck.. Marquette wasn’t even doing presidential or other election polls in 2020 or previously, so I don’t put any stock in this poll. Any University poll is immediately suspect based on the Democrat and liberal bias of that community.

I haven’t bothered with polls in nearly 20 years. They’re mostly rigged now. Way back when, they mostly provided legit internal numbers, so you could spot out a bogus topline polling result but still make the poll become useful even though the topline numbers were fake. Today, they hide methods, and exit polling is a joke, so polls are a waste of time.

Here’s what will happen. Good old RCP will put this in their “average of polls”. People think this “average” is gospel making it look like harris is pulling away. I read in various articles how some authors quote the “RCP” average of polls. The problem with RCP is that they include outliers in their averages. The result is a skewed average. Prime example is the outlier Michigan poll where Bloomberg/MorningConsult has harris up by 11. This is obviously an outlier and should not be included in the average. The other 4 polls have harris up 2, tied, Trump up 1 and Trump up 2. Using their method, Trump +3 – +2 for harris gives Trump a +1 divide by the 4 polls =.25 Trump ahead. I have some background in stats from college and industry. RCP needs to stop including outliers in their averages until a least there is a confirming poll or two.

In 2020 the RCP final average for Wisconsin was 6.7% for Biden. He won by 0.7%. Reuters/Ipsos was Biden +10 and NYT/Siena was Biden +11, both the week or less before the election.
