What in the hell is the SECRET SERVICE doing, working for the campaign?
We know the answer, and this flies in the face of their alleged non-partisan “just focused on protecting the protectee” bullshyte.
I thought there were laws against using government resources for non-governmental use. Campaigning for president isn’t part of the job title for the VP and so using the secrete service to perform campaign related task is no different than using a staffer to create campaign adds on a government computer, especially while on government time. The FEC needs to get in gear and put a stop to this, fine her campaign and make it clear that what she is doing is illegal and in violation of campaign laws.

Yesterday when I was driving home I got stuck in some bad traffic. There is usually no traffic on this stretch of road at this time of day unless there is an accident. I was very confused and a little annoyed until I got to the end, and realized all that traffic coming to a complete stop was because one man was on top of an overpass waving a Trump 2024 flag. This was in a suburb of Southern California called Irvine. Find you an overpass on a busy fwy and get you a flag. It’s time to make some traffic.

I remember growing up and my parents telling me that this was going to happen to our country, but I always said “no way…we are Americans!!!” Well, I am now getting to the point that Americans, by and large, are idiots and will just fall for it all. Maybe because we are glued to 24-hour news, social media, the internet, I don’t know. But my biggest shock was seeing how people reacted to Covid. While I understand at first we didn’t know how bad it was going to be and that first wave was definitely more deadly, particularly for elderly and compromised people. I know people who died from it and not all were old either. But still, I was stunned by the number of people who stayed home, shut their businesses, wore masks (even when alone!) and lined up in droves for the jab.
Now I see a country unbothered by a senile President, the non-democratic installation of an absolute empty pantsuit and her choice of a radical communist as her VP candidate. Like what??? No pressers. That’s OK, she looks great in that color! Sounds like an idiot? That’s OK, she’s “young” and “hip.” People are literally excited about sending billions to a country not even in NATO. They are all in on mutilating young children as “gender affirming care.” They seem to ignore the fact that the world is on fire, while we had peace under Trump. They happily pay $5 for a gallon of gas and have no issues with food prices rising 50%. They have zero problem with BLM and Antifa burning down cities but clutch their pearls over a mostly peaceful protest on Jan 6. They have pretty much ignored the fact that Trump literally took a bullet for our country and laugh it off like it was nothing and still stir up hatred for him with their violent rhetoric. All because the government told them to.
I could go on and on, but for at least 20 years+ I’ve been watching the America I once thought I knew turn into a bunch of brain dead humans. I keep waiting for the tipping point, but it never comes. They just keep doubling down. So I honestly don’t know anymore. I have my Trump signs in my lawn. I post everywhere I can. I am working on getting in as a poll worker (but I’m in Illinois so whatever.) I discuss it with friends. And of course, I am going to vote. But if this all goes down by cheating, or just stupidity, I really need to figure out where I need to live next. Either find myself a little plot of land somewhere in the deepest interior of our country or move to somewhere safer like Poland. (Or maybe Antarctica.) I’d appreciate any suggestions! LOL!
