Lara you are exactly right. I know this because. my parents met in a Communist youth group when they were 13 and 15 years old, respectively. The youth group was called, “American Youth for Democracy.” ( AYD ). There they were indoctrinated and went on to organize unions in the Trade Union movement, which was dangerous work during the McCarthy years. They worked in factories during the first 6 years of my life.
The indoctrination was so complete that to this day, while no longer active politically, their political views have not changed one iota. They attempted and succeeded in indoctrinating all my siblings (Six of us). I am the only one who liberated myself from their damaging ideas.
Most of their political ideology was very damaging to my ability to understand what was really the truth about America, but there were a few saving graces. I was brought up to respect people of all colors and ethnicities, to be grateful for the Civil Rights movement and Martin Luther King, Jr., and also to be interested in and curious about all cultures that were different from our own.
You do know that Marxist mania is not nearly the only place to learn that kind of thing? I learned it very well from my dad who was as Christian conservative as it gets.

In any event, Floyd was alive and breathing when he arrived at the ER. The autopsy report showed he died of a drug overdose!!!
