I thoroughly enjoyed my vehicles from the 60s and 70s. For the most part, they were honest, big, and solid rides, despite needing more regular care. A breaker ignition never let you down if you kept up with the points.
Too long ago, but after electronic ignition was around, EMP testing was done on cars and only 10% were affected. Now, with keyless everything including ignition, who knows.
Yeah, I agree with ya Oldersoul but my only gripe was the distributor cap that covered the points when you hit a large enough puddle and somehow the points got wet. At least they did on my ’66 Chevy Impala 283 small block motor. But that was the only downfall in my book. Nothing like the sound of that baby when you jumped on it and passing gear kicked in!
I have now conquered the puddle problem along with any car jackers with a VW diesel 6 speed stick!

I’m editing my response because I forgot to add my comment about the actual topic which is the plot Raskin suggests to remove Trump after he is elected. If the Democrats don’t have the majorities then they can’t remove Trump. Republicans aren’t going to remove Trump.
If the Democrats had control of the Senate during Trump’s first term it would have been far worse. Don’t forget, it was the Republicans who shut down the trial after the House Democrats impeached Trump. If the Democrats had control they would have held a protracted circus trial and continued harassing Trump family and associates. If Democrats had a large enough majority they would have removed Trump from office.
Also recall the Republicans brilliant handling of Christine Blasey. Imagine how that would have gone if Democrats had control of the Senate then.
It’s IMPERATIVE that we stop giving Democrats political power. People need to stop voting for them, period. Every office from federal to local. If you don’t like your Republican candidates then work to improve the selection, don’t give seats away to Democrats.
If Congress can cancel the will of the people who voted for PDJT, we have no Constitution. There is no United States. It will no longer exist.
We will be conquered by other nations within weeks. Mark my words.

My husband and I just returned from the MO Primary. We walked right in, though I got the impression there had been a slow but steady stream today.
It was difficult because Missouri is blessed with an abundance of decent conservative candidates at the moment, sometimes too many for one office.
We voted around lunchtime in South County-no one in line. As we left-8 or 9 folks in line so we timed it well. Our 22-month old granddaughter was a big hit while we were “filling in our boxes”. As we left to go vote, we decided to take Dan Bongino’s advice for the general=we’ll be voting a week or so before election day.
Leftist rag calls voting machines insecure… until they “win” of course at which point it is the most secure system possible.
