Magic Mushrooms. Quite the rage when I was in High School. I never tried them, but some kids would try anything that would get them “high”.
I tied them *once* in HS. Never again.
Frankly, I cannot imagine this having any positive impact on anyone’s mental health, whatsoever.
And, I want to clarify, it’s not that I had a “bad trip” or anything. I just didn’t see the value in faking myself out.
Again, I don’t get how they can justify using this for “healing”.

Sunny, it’s like cannabis in the way that it can be miraculous for people who are desperate to heal themselves. These sacred plants and fungi are very powerful medicines to be treated with respect.
When idiots abuse them to get high they set themselves(and everyone who could actually benefit from constructive consumption) up for disaster because the thrill seekers are the ones who end up with psychosis.
Mushrooms reset the programming of the brain and many with PTSD become liberated of their symptoms after using them.
I had ‘shroom tea just as I were coming off prescription opioids 5 years ago.
I took the tea 3 days after my last dose of morphine, just as the withdrawals started.
After about 6 hours of watching the ceiling fan above my bed do odd things and a bit of nausea from the mushrooms, I was completely free from withdrawal symptoms. I would have expected to be sick as a dog for at least 3 to five solid days, with weeks of depression to follow based on previous withdrawals over my 26 years of being prescribed opioids.
That having been said, the leftpukes in Oregon could EFF up a cup of coffee, so I expect them to make way too many gummies, only to end up in the wrong hands and I am sure they will become a scourge like they did to the weed.
If Big pHarma gets a hold of it they will just mess it up.
The compounds in these plants and fungi (and toads) should only be used as a tool of last resort, not be made into coffee table fare.

i personally think that anyone “good” didn’t want to expend their political capital this year, all eyes are set on 2028: enter Susan Rice as the first female president unless Joe and Kamala shiv Barry by having Joe resign after the November trouncing to steal that title. That would be a windfall for Kamala.
Do people really believe that Kamala chose her VP?
Right now, I speculate one of two scenarios.
1. “They” are so confident they can pull off a historically fraudulent election that they are flaunting their power. They can pull off a win with even the worst imaginable candidates!
2. “They” know this election is a lost cause so they have inserted two throw away candidates. They will fight to hold control of congress and do everything in their power to do damage control for 4 years at which point they intend to retake control.
Have to go with 1. No election is a lost cause for the D’s with control of the government, voting centers, the media, etc.

The news about Cori Bush made me realize I had forgotten about the AZ primary! I’m relieved to see Kari Lake has the GOP nomination. I pray she wins in November. If she does she’ll flip that blue seat red and hopefully contribute to a Republican majority in the Senate. Please Arizona conservatives, vote for her and consider donating to her campaign. She will have tough opposition but it’s possible for her to win if conservatives band together and support her.
I just donated to Kari’s campaign. Trump will have a rally in AZ, right?
