FYI, I am 3 months out of left hip replacement and doing great. I did prepare for it by going to the gym and strengthening my muscles before and now after surgery. I by God’s Grace have a great surgeon for my replacement surgery who has this down to an art.
He cuts in from the front/side and doesn’t cut any muscle but it’s a pretty violent surgery having to move those muscles and nerves out of the way, cut the nob of of the femur and screw in the new ball into the cut femur ( about 4 inches inside the bone itself), clean out the existing socket, 2 screws threw the new magnesium socket into the hip bone making sure the legs are within centimeters of being equal length, put the new ball into the socket and slap all the muscle and skin back in place. How long to do all that? 45 minutes!
He started at 5am and I was number 9 in the que. My operation was at about 12:30 and I was able to walk with a walker at about 6:30 pm to the bathroom. Dr. Petrella does knees and hips, has 1 hospital floor dedicated to just his patients and nurses. I had to go to hip and knee bootcamp prior to surgery with all other patients scheduled for that day of surgery. Where we learned what was expected and to answer our questions. Before we were released the next day at around noon we had to pass a walking with a walker test and were given instructions on the proper way. Like walking with the heel hitting 1st and going up and then down stairs.
I soo wanted to get this done before they try to lock us down again and by the Lords Grace I did.
What I’m trying to tell you is that with the right surgeon and some preparation it’s a piece of cake. If I can help with any questions ask adrem for my email. You’re in my prayers bjorkdream, may God Bless.

I see Walz used to be a US Representative for Minnesota’s 1st congressional district which is a swath across the bottom of the state and does not include Minneapolis. Here’s what wikipedia says about the district:

I don’t think he’s going to carry that vote. The US Reps for the past two elections are both GOP, Hagedorn and (now) Finstad. Also, I think Trump won that district in 2016 and 2020. (There was apparently re-districting but it’s not clear to me if that will affect Trump’s popularity this year.)
Also, unlike IL and PA, the Lt Gov in MN is white. A white woman named Peggy Flanagan. So they’re not going to get the black credit they would have had with Pritzker or Shapiro.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes’ office announced Monday that Jenna Ellis, a former Donald Trump attorney and one of the 18 defendants in the Arizona “fake electors” case stemming from the 2020 election, is cooperating with the prosecution.
Ellis signed the cooperation agreement Monday morning, according to the announcement, which said prosecutors are dropping the charges against her.
“This agreement represents a significant step forward in our case,” Mayes, a Democrat, said in a statement. “I am grateful to Ms. Ellis for her cooperation with our investigation and prosecution.
Ellis pleaded guilty last year in the Georgia election interference case in which Trump was also charged. She was Trump’s senior legal adviser from early 2019 until shortly after he left office in January 2021 and was part of the legal team that advised him as he sought to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.
Ellis and the rest of the Trump allies charged this year had pleaded not guilty after Mayes unveiled an indictment related to their involvement in a plan to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state.
Ellis’ cooperation agreement notes that she spoke with prosecutors on June 17. The day before, lead prosecutor Nicholas Klingerman told the media assembled outside a Phoenix courthouse that plea deals might be coming.
“I think, in any other, like any other case, that we’ll make plea offers,” Klingerman said, adding that “I have discussed the possibility” of a plea offer with at least one of the defendants.

A month after the 2020 election, 11 Trump supporters convened at the Arizona GOP’s headquarters in Phoenix to sign a certificate claiming to be Arizona’s 11 electors to the Electoral College, though Joe Biden won the state by 10,457 votes and state officials certified his electors. The state Republican Party documented the signing of the certificate in a social media post and sent it to Congress and the National Archives.
Those accused of being “fake electors” and the others alleged to have been accomplices are charged with fraud, forgery, and conspiracy.
Speaking to Brahm Resnik of NBC affiliate KPNX of Phoenix on Friday, Mayes expressed optimism in her office’s ongoing prosecution of the “fake electors.”
“We’re making progress in the case, and we feel good about the case,” she said.

The US was ostensibly there to “fight terrorism” but seems that the US is using Ukrainian proxies to work with Al Qaida in the region (in Mali), so I’m sure the terrorists were safe while the US tried to figure out how to steal resources from the region. Obviously Niger didn’t see the benefits.

According to court records, Frank Lucio Carillo made several threats against Harris, President Joe Biden, FBI Director Christopher Wray, several Arizona officials, and others on the right-wing social media platform Gettr.
In response to a subpoena, the FBI found 4,359 posts from Carillo “targeting various public officials,” including Harris.
In several posts, Carillo allegedly threatened to cut out Harris’ eyes and described various ways he wanted to kill the vice president, court records say.
“I will cut your eyes out,” Carillo allegedly wrote in one expletive-laden rant where he called Harris a “b*tch” and said he hoped she would “suffer a slow agonizing death.”
Judging by his picture he’s so out of it the FBI probably hired the guy and posted all of the threats themselves.
Ponder this – they have had no problem having a dementia patient carry around the nuclear codes – nor any concern that a cackling word-salad knee scraper would have them – but Katie bar the door if PDJT should have them.

When neither the media or your uniparty compatriots refuse to call out your lies, then you can lie with impunity – just as she did in that ad.
It’s similar to what happened this weekend in the UK. One of Starmer’s stooges (cabinet) put out a lie about acid attacks being committed by “the far right” (something that is often done in the UK by Pakistanis to women). Of course it was spread far and wide BEFORE the community notes were added.
