♦ BIG PICTURE – Are the newest group of billionaire Silicon Valley tech leaders currently supporting MAGA Trump/Vance, really a modern assembly of the Green Dragon rebels in Boston, plotting the next Tea Party rebellion. Even now it is just systems of three and more Dimensional arrays of arrays until the switches all align at a single address of an answer.
How the answers are programmed and arrayed determine how the comp chooses the answer.

Disagree. Computers have mostly been built using the von Neumann architecture which is not brain-like. Though AI is somewhat modeled after brain neurons.

The conscious part of the brain, found just inside your forehead, allows for external programming in order to improve or degrade survival chances. Organisms that occupy evolutionary niches and have little need for quick adaptation are usually fairly mindless by comparison.

Technically speaking, isn’t that what DNA is? Somehow, primitive micro-organisms evolved into the human brain over a million plus years.
Putting aside all the interesting Turing aspects to this man/machine riddle, your imagery glosses over a key aspect of AI – it learns. It has activation functions and feedback loops built on cost functions. It performs what the human mind does – pattern recognition from which induction follows. Learned patterns support deduction. Quantum computing is around the corner – whole new world opens up with that. Though only for specific problem sets.
The ugly philosophical part still intrudes: can a machine ever have consciousness (HAL did)? Can it have a soul (a non-material component of an identity)?
There are two different conversations going on here IMO: does AI function as our brain does (at some level of abstraction)? And who/what creates? The parallels to religious beliefs are rather obvious. But they are distinct questions.
I’ve yet to see conclusive proof that all humans can pass the Turing test either.

Mid-to-long term depends on whether this crop of tech billionaires cares more about control or wealth.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with being a billionaire; Donald Trump earned his billions employing Americans to build and man his properties.
So if this crop cares more about wealth/success then it’s just a matter of convincing them that the biggest profits for them come from the MAGA agenda of rebuilding the American middle class economy (when the middle class does well they have the disposable income to buy their products).
If they can be brought onboard with the idea that manufacturing in America and employing Americans is the key to a future where they have great profits then the problem takes care of itself.

I’ve been watching the All In podcast for years and absolutely love each episode. They are extremely popular with the 20-something crowd of young professionals. My son turned me on to them when he was working with the Treasurer of our state on the investment team, and then in venture capital. Three of the four founders of All In, David Sacks, Chamath and Frieberg are great minds I would love to see with roles in Trump’s next administration.
That said, I DON’T think any of them are 100% MAGA. Sacks is close, the other two are fairly non-political but brilliant business minds. Frieberg is a science nerd as well.
Peter Thiel I do not trust, and he has strong connections to the promotion of Vivek, Vance and Blake Masters here in AZ.

I guess your gut will give you the same answer that your founding fathers would give.
They mistrusted conentrated, centralized power because sooner or later it will be abused.
I will limit myself to AI but the same principles apply to everything else.
The answer to centralized power over AI in the hands of a handful billionaires operating a few massive data centers is DECENTRALIZED AI.
The good news is that the technology of decentralized AI already exists. WE HAVE THE POWER. Most of us just don’t know it yet.
How does it work?
Huge, gigantic tasks can be divided into thousands or millions of tiny, little chunks which can be send over the internet and executed in parallel on thousands or millions of computers.
At this very moment when you read this text your computer does mostly NOTHING. It just waits for your input.
The same is true for almost all of us. Our computers do most of the time nothing but wait, using perhaps 5 to 10% of CPU-power most of the time.
This unused power can be utilized and millions of consumer computers have at a minimum the same computing power as the datacenters of the billionaires.
For example, there is a company called GOLEM which operates a decentralized AI network built on open source.
Anyone fulfilling the system requirements can participate and earn GLM tokens for the usage of their hardware.

Granted, I don’t like their business model but that is something that can be improved.
Distributed AI is the way to go and Donald Trump as well as any member of goverment and any representative should be encouraged and if necessary pressured to promote distributed AI.
Now another thing to worry about. I’ve lost quite a bit of hair since the 2020 steal of the election. It’s probably stress. I will have to live my best life bald.

That photo of Obama never ceases to amaze me.
Not one minority, speaking from a racial/DEI perspective, seated at the table. I have African-American friends who believe he is a water-walker. Who think he is the grand chess master.
There is the manufactured Obama image. And there is reality. There are too many who don’t realize they are simply expendable pawns in this man’s world-view.
It’s also remarkable how he has managed to “compartmentalize” his various supporters.
One “bigger picture” take-away that seems to be missed at times: all of these people have cultivated their action arms. Obama has his Community Organizer group. Clyburn has his AME army of conditioned action agents.
These groups do much of the dirty work.
They need to be penetrated as part of a larger response strategy. I don’t know why this hasn’t happened already – by all appearances.
Plain and Simple, what Sundance is describing in this article, whether in a Demon-KKKrat or Republican RINO administration, is FASCISM. It’s good old-fashioned — since at least the days of FDR — American-style FASCISM.
For those who may doubt this characterization, read “The Doctrine of FASCISM” by the “fathers of modern fascism”, Benito Mussolini and Giovanni Gentile in which these two goons advocate for comprehensive GOVT participation in public-private partnerships and, thereby, the KONTROL of suchentities … and, in turn, KONTROL of the MASSES.
In brief, it is a TOP-DOWN Centralized Command and Kontrol system of GOVT. In the FASCISTIC model of Mussolini and Gentile, ALL private enterprise, as well as any of those of the ordinary Citizen/Subject, are to be first and foremost directed toward the prioritization and benefit to the State. Period.
SOCIALISM, at its core, is State OWNERSHIP of the means of production; while FASCISM, the little sister of socialism, is State KONTROL of such means of production. The State KONTROL, as opposed to outright OWNERSHIP, is acquired via mountains of Rules and Regs, with additional mountains of Tax Code, is the way that a modern Administrative State — with, of course, the complete blessing and involvement of the sociopathic criminal Administration — picks WINNERS and LOSERS.
This, in turn, is the way that the Admin State “gets the job done” –- complete with massive levels of corruption, graft, and demoralization — while destroying our American style of GOVT and our American way of life. In the context of American GOVT, at all levels, does any of this sound familiar? [No need to answer.]
So, Sundance — God bless him with all his good works, insights, etc — in his BIG PICTURE summary, is indeed writing about AMERICAN FASCISM when he states: “The Obama-era ‘Technocracy‘ was based on public-private partnerships with social media. This was the origin of the surveillance state that now scours, controls, filters, censors and ultimately monetizes your social media data profile. The operational and business model is cemented into the process now. Everyone accepts it. Terms and conditions apply, and if you don’t agree, you can’t use.”
For at least the foreseeable future, Obozo, Benedict Biden, the RINOs, and, all their Rat Minions in the Administrative State, do NOT want to OWN the means of production, rather, they want to KONTROL same … to wit:
[a] they don’t want to OWN our Health [Sick] Care industry — including BIG PHARMA –- but they want to KONTROL it;
[b] they don’t want to OWN our BIG TECH industry — the current surveillance state –- but they want to KONTROL it;
[c] they don’t want to OWN our ENERGY industry — particularly the faux-renewables –- but they want to KONTROL it;
[d] they don’t want to OWN our MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX — the current globalist machine of war –- but they want to KONTROL it;

The end result of the above — that is, the overall objective is to fundamentally transform our NATION — that is, to transform We The People from being CITIZENS — with both RIGHTS and DUTIES — to being SUBJECTS of an Oligarchy.
