New York State has now filed its reponse, as ordered by SCOTUS, to the Missouri lawsuit regarding election interference. Essentially, NY is imposing un-constitutional restraints on President Trump. Remarkably the State of NY is disavowing that the “People” of NY State brought the improper criminal charges.
The State of NY claims in the response that the charges (business records case) were brought by an “independently elected county prosecutor, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (Manhattan DA).” This ignores the fact that Bragg was acting on behalf of the People of NY State and asseting NY State law as his authority. Bragg used his office and state courts all of which are created by state law. It is absurd to suggest that Bragg was on some personal frolic. He was using State authority and resources.
The response of New York State also states that the lawsuit is intended to benefit President Trump rather than citizens of MO, “Ultimately, the purported injury is not sovereign because Missouri is clearly and impermissibly seeking to further the individual interests of former President Trump. ” However,the NY lawsuit was clearly intended to damage President Trump in the eyes of the nation and prevent, if not disqualify him for seeking the Presidency. The interest of the State of NY is dubious as nothing was contrary to NY law. Bragg had to create some hybrid crime incorporating Federal issues- not in his jurisdiction.
The various NY official and judges are attempting to exert a veto by use of unconstitutional legal proceedings in NY to the harm of Missouri and the rest of the Country. No State should be allowed to do what NY is attempting. Hopefully SCOTUS gets engaged.
The SCROTUS? Get engaged? Maybe you’ll see a decision June 2025. If at all.
The Missouri suit was filed on July 3. SCOTUS, not even in session, issued an order on Monday of this week and gave NY 2 days to respond to this suit. They’re engaged.

One the one hand, this reads as if NYS is trying to distance itself from Bragg, which is a good thing, as it indicates even they recognise his case is without merit.
Its arguments are lame, in the extreme; either Bragg is acting on behalf of the State, or he’s not (and so can be sued) and doesn’t every prosecution he does start with “The STATE vs.,…”?).
SCOTUS just gave us a BIGGIE, affirming POTUS is a one person branch of Govt., Joe has reaffirmed their desire to structurally gut SCOTUS, so maybe we get over our butt hurt at “standing” and move on?

“Lame” is an apt description for the content of the 48 page NY response. At this juncture MO is asking SCOTUS to “stay” the gag orders and sentencing until after the election.
NY is suggesting that there really is no problem because the pending criminal proceeding has been appealed and that appeal should be allowed to run its course before SCOTUS intervenes. Of course, it is a practical impossibility that it runs its course of appealate review, which would include an appeal to SCOTUS, before the election or early voting. In other words, irreparable harm.
Merchan will probably not order confinement as you point out. It would be a confrontational move agaainst SCOTUS given the MO lawsuit. I also agree that, without question, the 3 NY state verdicts will be reversed.
The weaponization of the Courts must be stopped. The coordinated lawsuits against Donald Trump were timed and choreagraphed to place him at a point of maximum damage in the months before the election, from courts located in the most extreme anti Trump venues – NYC and Fulton County Georgia – and before any opportunity for review by higher courts. This cannot be tolerated or allowed to ever occur again.

There really isn’t any difference. The biggest difference is homegrown vegetables. Most vegetables, organic, or not, sold in supermarkets, have at least 40% fewer vits/minerals than 50 years ago. The earth has been raped so people can eat cucumbers, strawberries etc 12 months of the year, and they still need to take multi vitamin pills!
I grow my own fruit and eat seasonally. I have ensured that my varieties crop at different months giving me pomegranate, persimmon, and citrus at the end of the year. I preserve my harvest by freeze drying, and canning.
I wonder how much those vegis would cost or if you would buy them with bug bites and fungus marks all over the surface? They care about power. Seizing it, and wielding it to enact their communist adjacent agenda and for punishing dissent. The American left is the most authoritarian political group in the world because they aim to rule us under the guise of a reverence for democracy.
They wield immense power through their captured institutions, specifically the education system which indoctrinates the next generation of unhumans, and the media, the American Pravda, which programs the current one.
How easy is it to see through their facade? Simple… They claim as their guiding principle, the concept of democracy, yet they consider it a coup and the imposition of totalitarian rule, when a majority of the country disagrees with them and supports the opposition leader they’ll tirelessly work to bankrupt, imprison, or even, god forbid, kill.
They’re suffering both mental and physical anguish at the prospect that a majority of the electorate supports Donald Trump, for whom the groundswell of support is the most profound embodiment conceivable of that which they pretend to care so deeply about, democracy.
It’s fake. They’re fake. They care only about power and will lie, cheat, steal, or kill, to obtain it and keep it. They must be destroyed by such an expansive margin in the 2024 election, that they can’t possibly rig the vote. If you live in the bluest county in Vermont, Maryland, or Massachusetts, your vote is just as important as Pittsburg. No mercy. These evil people must be eviscerated.

So here’s what happened: the WSJ reported with zero corroboration that Elon Musk was donating $45 million a month to Trump through America PAC—a claim that Musk immediately shot down as “fake gnus” (fake news).
Fast forward to his interview with Jordan Peterson where he explicitly denies the report and what does the media do? They treat the original report as accurate and double down by falsely claiming that Musk is “backing down” from the donations.

However, by the next day, the AP had removed the article from its archives, with the page address showing it is now unavailable.
