Why did it take them so long to kill Crooks? Why wouldn’t they kill him as soon as they saw him holding a rifle, let alone one aimed at Trump?
Why didn’t the agents at the stage rush Trump then and protect him, before shots were fired?
I’m convinced that he should’ve been corraled and exited long before he scoped in on PDJT. It’s inexcusable that he ever got the opportunity to fire that rifle.
Even if two minutes before the shooting is not a lot of time for me, I would think it was an eternity for well-trained shooters and security to make decisions and take actions. The call to those close enough to Trump on stage to have taken action should have been almost immediate. The problem might be with the thought that they were “well-trained” and didn’t have a better reaction time than I would have had.
The thing is, the totality of evidence tells us that he was known as ‘possibly suspicious’ a half hour or more before the shooting took place. Plenty of time for somebody to get a closer look.
But they’re saying just suspicious, not ominous. Climbing up to the building must have raised the suspicion level to dangerous and changed what action was required.
In my experience (passive as it were), ‘suspicious’ has typically been enough to get closer and monitor his or her actions. In this case the evidence suggests they purposely ignored Crooks from the outset.
Look at it from the point of view of the preponderance of the evidence, which IMHO is clearly plenty to indicate that this was an inside job.
All the SS on that stage seemed completely gobsmacked when President Donald J. Trump ducked downward and saved his own life (with also IMHO lots of help from probably quite a few guardian angels!).
Training to help him, if that was what they were actually doing next (perhaps at least a couple were), would have kicked in and made them less gobsmacked.
But what if some, many, if not all of them were already expecting him to be dead?
The overall reaction is entirely consistent with that expectation. They were shocked – but not in a good way.
Then – desperation. Fumbling with weapons on the women’s part. Putting the shortest one in front! Trying to get him a stretcher and covered (what better way to hide his survival from the crowd and Epstein him in the closed vehicles a little later?).
No, he rose like a phoenix and foiled any such Plan B they may have had.

We get new footage… that jump cuts to a pixelated representation of Crooks looking in the direction of the camera. I want to see the raw footage and I want to see second by second overlays from multiple angles. Not jump cuts. I don’t want to see a snuff film, but why should I believe the sequence of events as presented?

What are the forensics procedures that document that the evidence — or in this specific case, three additional casings — was not “created,” and were those procedures followed, etc., etc. etc. . . ?
Many are concerned that the GOP is feckless and therefore worthless, and these questions will go unasked — and that there will be zero consequences.

I would be careful about that. He even says he’s not a forensics expert. I saw the video he made, and it is compelling, but when I watch the rally at full speed the other 5 shots only sound higher pitched because the sonic booms of the bullets at the higher frequency appear in rapid succession. Gives the appearance of a different sound, to me.
People are going to be picking that audio apart for months.

Wray was very ambivalent about the casing analysis. Martensen says 3 shots from 1 weapon, 5 from another. Apparently, the casings were grabbed up quickly.

I don’t know anything about social media accounts, I don’t use them. But my email account is encrypted, Protonmail, to keep anyone but who I want to read my emails from reading them. I’m not an active sniper.
Encrypted accounts can be simply an app that requires a password in order to view anything on a phone. They typically are used to keep stuff private and not necessarily a communication method. We don’t know details yet. I believe Iphones come with built in encryption.
Everyone needs encrypted social media accounts to reduce the ability of big tech and big government to spy on you.. That’s why people use Signal and Telegram instead of WhatsApp (owned by Zuckerbuck’s Meta).
Many folks have encrypted apps, Tik Tok, Telegram, Singal, Whatsapp, etc.

There is the possibility that the addressing parts of his comms were not encrypted, just as an IP address can’t be encrypted (except in a VPN tunnel) because Internet routers need to be able to read that IP address, so they can actually route data packets to their destination.
So I wonder how extensively being looked at in the investigation, OR if if’s being covered up.

Here’s my semi-educated guess:
The rifle has a serial # and per what I have read every gun sale in the US needs to include the ATF 4473 form which includes the buyer’s name and the serial # of the firearm. (This is the form Hunter Biden lied on.) I read that Matthew Crooks purchased the AR15 11 years ago but the form has been around at least since 1968, though I haven’t yet verified that serial #’s have always been required.
Presuming there was an ATF 4473 recorded for the sale, law enforcement could easily trace the rifle to Matthew Crooks. And then doing license plate checks of vehicles in the vicinity they would find the one registered to someone in the Crooks family. It’s possible they found identifying info in the vehicle, like a vehicle registration card or insurance card.
At that point they were certain the car was associated with the shooter, “his car”, the car he used, though they wouldn’t have been certain that the shooter was a Crooks. It could have been someone who broke into the home and stole the rifle and stole the car.
To have this serial # infor means a gun buying ATF data base which is illegal, but we all know the fed govt doesn’t obey 1 single law…

I’m taking a calculated Tom Clancy style guess here…
1) The shooter was not prepared for the local police dude to show up at the roof. The SS and DHS and FBI did not think a local police dude would do that either. This unexpected event from local police royally messed up the time frame for his hit.
2) The bomb in the car could have been blown up as a distraction. Everyone ready to shoot would have a moment of chaos to shoot. The interruption by local police spoiled that plan.
3) The audio files I have heard (soon to be censored I will guess) present at least 2 distinct different sounds. The first shots were probably the Crooks dude..the followup rat-a-tat-tat automatic sounds probably the inside assassins in the 2nd floor of that building (which should have been totally protected on the roof.)
The fact that shell casings were picked up and now gone forever is further evidence that this was an inside job. I actually imagine the hooter was popped by a handgun. A 30+ calibre shot from snipers 200 yards away would have exploded his head like a watermelon. I can’t believe that sniper shot hit him, based on the photos of the dead guy. His head was pretty well intact.

I agree with your conjecture about his head…..but there are probable scenerios where his head could stay intact. IMO they are not likely due to the type of weapon used (at least from pictures- but that doesn’t show the round used).
The rifles were suppressed. Would it be possible that they used sub sonic ammunition, lowering the muzzle velocity enough to reduce expansion/wound cavitation? Are they special rounds, maybe even frangible in case they have to shoot into a crowd?
If you go with the analyses of a mid range and long range shooter, subsonic rounds would not be appropriate.
On the other hand, ‘explosive’ round technology has been around for along time.

The audio files that Chris Martenson has spotlighted at PeakProsperity dot com make clear that the first 3 shots were very distinct from the next 5 – which all came within 9/10 of a second. The idea that all 8 shots came from Crooks is highly implausible.
I wouldn’t trust anything Wray says, he is the whole reason our country is a mess….. because he didn’t do his job and let criminal Democrats run amuck. He is a part of their team, it’s been obvious for years now.

I heard that Chris Martenson video that was posted on here a few days ago, talking about the different sounds of fire.
For anyone who’s ever competed or military service will understand this…. The First 3 shots, had a cadence which is triggered control, the second 5 shots were sporadic, meaning no trigger control. I didn’t pick that up until that Martenson video.
First shots were muffled, second along with the counter sniper were airy.
Initially, I thought it might have come from the trees but now it’s quite possible the first shots came from the window directly below the patsy on the roof. Trajectory makes more sense, though PT’s ear continuing to the injured victim in the bleachers to PT’s left.

Also, I don’t have any particular knowledge or reasoning behind this, but did all the casings from Crooks’ gun remain on the roof? I saw an image which I believe showed no gutter on that roof. I didn’t see anything that would prevent a casing from rolling off the roof. OTOH, the “too steep” slope was so shallow and Crooks was so far from the edge that maybe no casings went off the roof. Minor unanswered questions which may not even apply.
But no cones or hats, that really bugs me. No one can verify the count and pattern.

The Secret Service sniper who killed Crooks could only see Crooks’ gun scope and the top of his eye and forehead because the lip of the roof was blocking the sniper’s view.

NO scope as you can see in the cop’s HD body cam video I posted early today made ON the roof about one hour after the attempt with everything untouched. It looks like it has accessory iron sights mounted where optics would normally go which may have range and windage adjustments for the rear peep sight.
Drone info – meh – other that it sounds like he flew over the AGR Building area and the area where he was on the ground. Google Earth images from overhead aren’t particularly good.
Explosive devices in the van weren’t powered, so they couldn’t have been remotely detonated.
BTW, from Dan Bongino to dispel all of the second shooter baloney, there WAS a second shooter – a POLICE counter-sniper who Dan said missed. The SS counter-snipers who got him were NOT the ones on the videos shown. It was another SS team much farther away who took the impressive shot with a tree in their line of sight.

In the Grassley video posted yesterday the LEO officer points out the gun to the guy in the suit asking questions and the camera pans to it. If there is a scope it is immediately above the handle/trigger area. I do not shoot so do not know.
Saw the Grassley video. Am not an expert but from what I could see the optic looked like an EOTEC Holographic sight or something similar. Again, saw it on the video for a few seconds and at a distance.
NO, the obvious, large accessory front sight is associated with a too-short to be optics block on the receiver which may be a “fancy” rear peep sight with range and windage adjustments. Also, I’m pretty sure it was Bongino who said he was using iron sights. Looks to me like his dad who owned the rifle wanted to be a true MARKSMAN.
Expect you’re right. As I said, I saw the rifle in the video footage for a few seconds and the rifle was not very close to the camera.
Another point I should have made – you better have iron sights if you’re an TEOTWAWKI survivalist because it will eventually become difficult to find cells for your illuminated dot rifle scope and glass scopes can break. Maybe Crooks’ dad is one considering how many guns he’s supposed to own.
I saw a fairly poor photo of the rifle laying on the roof after the shooting, and it looked like it was equipped with an unmagnified red dot sight.
I also thought it was a red dot scope which is quick to sight in on a short range target and accurate up to 150-200 maximum yards with no magnifier. JMO
I use red dot, and given the size of target from that distance, it would have been very hard to see the target. Using a magnifier would have been better, especially given his bad eyesight

I believe he had a 1x reddot on the rifle. No magnification. The “dot” probably covered Trump’s head. It really was a good shot. If Trump hadn’t turned his head, by the power of God, it would have been bad.

It is definitely odd. However, all will be resolved , if ever, when the FBI recovers bullets downrange and matches them ballistically to the rifle. The recovered cartridges are proof of nothing. They could have been placed there from an earlier practice session. 135 yards with iron sights is definitely doable but for a pipsqueak dufus it does stretch credulity.
If he was serious about accuracy he would have used an LPVO (low power variable optic). Maybe 6x-10x.
Just from some of the enhanced images I’ve worked on it looks like a reflex or holographic sight. AKA “red dot”. My first thought was an EoTech, but those are too expensive for the Wind Up Toy(TM) and his junky 15 year old rifle he used. Brandon Herrera at UTube must have come to the same conclusion because he used a 20″ AR with a red dot to recreate the ear shot damage.
The center dots on those cheap red dots are usually as large as the image of Trumps head at 100 yards. A red dot is not what you use for that job. An ACOG is different, but if you don’t know what that is don’t waste the research time finding out.

I won’t bet on anything that comes out of this enhanced image. It just looks like a optical device forward of the castle nut on the rear of the receiver. TMZ also has a watermark running through that area of the image. Golly, how nice…
