It doesn’t really matter much, but if you watch the oval office speech that Joe Biden just gave you might notice he is showing signs of a facial injury.
Look Closely:
♦ 1. Left side of lower jaw (screen right), on the jawline (4 o’clock to 5 o’clock), shows a deep 3-inch bruise – purplish in color despite makeup. Same location has pronounced swelling.
♦ 2. Upper left eyelid (screen right), at top-left of eye socket where eyelid folds into the eye; another deep bruise although more hidden with makeup.
♦ 3. Biden’s normal elocution and speech pattern is generally slurry on “c”-words and “s”-words. However, you’ll notice in this speech the slur is even more pronounced, similar to a person who has just left the dentist, as his tongue is trying to compensate for numbing.
Watch the video (cspan below) and you’ll immediately see the marked elocution change it in the first words spoken. The numbing impediment lessens as he speaks more.

In the final analysis it doesn’t really matter, except the issue represents an example of the extents those in the White House are willing to go to retain a ruse.
Ultimately, it is sad for our country.

Most likely, he went into the weekend with no intention of dropping out. Then he had some sort of episode that required emergency care. Whatever happened caused a panic, and a letter was hastily drafted to ensure there could be no open convention. A second letter/tweet followed. In their rush, they forgot to endorse Harris, which would have left all that money at risk.
They had no plan. They got a collapsed vegetable that almost turned the country upside down. Strange as it may sound, I think the family “called it” and that’s what spawned the letter.
In that Tucker interview with Prosobiac, they nailed the key issue: SNAKES. There were probably half a dozen snakes waiting to rush into that convention and cause a complete meltdown.

When he mentioned health care and getting rid of cancer, I couldn’t help but think that his administrations “unrequired mandate” of the Covid vaccine cost how many American lives as well as those worldwide, mainly from cardiovascular issues. He somehow failed to mention that, rather he focused on cancer.
I don’t wish death on anyone but the policies of the CDC and FDA caused a lot of death here and abroad through both the pandemic and the “cure”. If nothing else, this should be a warning to all Americans to NOT TRUST what the political medical community tells you. They got rich from this as well as getting outlandish retirement packages.

Agreed. Seen the same thing when one of my parents had a stroke – that was preceded by a fit of some sort, that is where external injuries like bruises come from.
There is some treatment that they can give now, which if given early enough can lessen the effects of the stroke, because you usually get paralysis on the left hand side of the face, arm and leg as well. That must have been the rumoured medical emergency.

Clot busting treatment
FWIW, that only works for clot strokes. If you have a hemorrhagic stroke, a bleed, it could make it worse.
The probably-not-a-rumor going around conservative media (including SD mentioning it on X, IIRC) is that he had a “mini-stroke” ie transient ischemic attack. (I believe that is caused by a small clot that is quickly dislodged by the bloodstream. However, it is usually a harbinger of worse things to come.)
I’ve never seen anyone have a stroke and be right back out there a few days later. It’s more likely to me that he took a fall.
The stroke / TIA story makes no sense, a dramatic fictional cover. He was less than 2 miles from Sunrise Hospital, which has a trauma center and stroke rehab (my ex husband’s grandmother was there for a stroke, his mom for a TIA). They would have had to drive past that center to get to UMC, an extra ten minutes or so.
They did no imaging (CAT scan) to verify whether there was a stroke, TIA or aneurysm. The change in pressure in flight would be an enormous risk, and a recurrance at 40,000 feet over the Grand Canyon would mean an hour away from the next trauma center was possible. Stroke and TIA patients are told to avoid flights for a time as a precaution.
He has ongoing symptoms of dementia. I am curious if they used botox or sarapin to mimic the appearance.

Does character in public office still matter? Not if you look at the vast majority of politicians since most of them are in it for themselves, not the people they represent. For example, Biden said that he would “always level with you, always tell you the truth” yet he has been dishonest about his illness, about Trump being Hitler, about “his economy” being the strongest in the world, about having more manufacturing jobs return to the US because of him, about being the first president this century not at war (I guess funding Ukraine and providing that military with equipment, ammo, arms, rockets, planes, etc doesn’t count does it nor does giving Iran $6B to fund the Hamas attacks on Israel doesn’t count as involvement), that violent crime is at the lowest level in 15 years, that border crossings are lower today than when the previous administration left office (which might be true since he promised them before and after his election that they would be welcome and they began the journey and were here on the morning of 1/20/2021 ready to cross as soon as he said “so help me God”) and so on and so on.
Biden said that “it’s all about you, your family, WE THE PEOPLE”. I didn’t realize when he originally said that that he meant about you becoming subservient to HIS government, paying for HIS programs, accepting HIS justice, paying your taxes to fund HIS unwanted and unneeded programs. He promised to move forward not backward but he circled us back to the Obama policies that nearly destroyed the country, he told us he would focus on hope not hate but his rhetoric has been nothing but hate Trump at every step. His inaugural address focused on uniting the country yet his actions, like Obama’s, have been totally divisive and dismissive of the majority of the people.
He said “nothing can come in the way of saving our democracy:. To that end, he said he would favor Supreme Court reform (though SCOTUS rulings were not a problem when the court had a hard left lean to it). Democracy? I guess since the Dept. of Education had gone 100% WOKE, they can replace that part of our history by calling the USA a democracy. I agree that we do have democratic principles, just not Democrat(ic Party) ones. Joe Biden reminded us that FDR said that we have a “republic–if you can keep it”. Evidently, Democrats believe that we are no longer a republic as established by the constitution (thus we were established as a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy! Ironically, the only time Biden has even mentioned Republic. He always says democracy but to truly be a democracy, then the will of its citizens should determine the focus of America, not the ballots of illegal aliens, dead citizens, people voting multiple times or even ballots scanned multiple times without consequence. It happened and you, sir, told us that it was going to happen before your “election”.
