It doesn’t really matter much, but if you watch the oval office speech that Joe Biden just gave you might notice he is showing signs of a facial injury.
Look Closely:
♦ 1. Left side of lower jaw (screen right), on the jawline (4 o’clock to 5 o’clock), shows a deep 3-inch bruise – purplish in color despite makeup. Same location has pronounced swelling.
♦ 2. Upper left eyelid (screen right), at top-left of eye socket where eyelid folds into the eye; another deep bruise although more hidden with makeup.
♦ 3. Biden’s normal elocution and speech pattern is generally slurry on “c”-words and “s”-words. However, you’ll notice in this speech the slur is even more pronounced, similar to a person who has just left the dentist, as his tongue is trying to compensate for numbing.
Watch the video (cspan below) and you’ll immediately see the marked elocution change it in the first words spoken. The numbing impediment lessens as he speaks more.

In the final analysis it doesn’t really matter, except the issue represents an example of the extents those in the White House are willing to go to retain a ruse.
Ultimately, it is sad for our country.
The next five months are troubling to think about.
It was reported by people in Las Vegas that the local hospital was all prepped and roads cleared to transport Biden to LV Hospital. Then quickly plans changed and they raced him to Air Force 1 and flew as fast as possible back to the East. It was tentatively reported that he suffered a stroke and that they decided to “De-stroke” him enough on the plane back to get medical care out East closer to home where they could hide him better.
If he had actually entered the ER at a LV Hospital there would be no hiding that. So their primary concern is always about how best to hide things. The deep bruising might be typical from a stroke event and then he collapsed on his left side and the treatment to relieve it. The extra slur is probably the result of the stroke.

My son is a physician there and he said what they wanted to do to get Biden in there was not realistic. They basically wanted the entire facility in lockdown. All Vegas roads in and out in lockdown. They wanted all of the patients in route or er in the facility gone/diverted. The facility could not do any of those things quick enough. The US gov is so selfish and once cancelled….my son said the staff thought they were crazy. They were glad they moved on.

When my wife was suffering from dementia she fell in the bathroom and had very similar bruises and speech. After ten days in the hospital we had to transfer her to memory care. That’s how quickly the disease can progress.

On June 11, I just came out to CA to visit my 82 year old brother in law.
He had a stroke while I was in town, brain surgery, and didn’t wake up for 4 days.
They discovered he had such advance alzheimers that the stroke put him over the edge.
2 days earlier he had passed a psyche exam and they said he was “capable of making all his own decisions”
Never married, no kids, and I put him in hospice and he died 8 days later.
It’s been very rough.
I’m still in his town, and driving home (12 hours) tomorrow.

Ok all politics aside………..I am going give a different perspective/observation.
Some assumptions first, thou;
1) It was a WH event, so I assume it was real and not faked.
2) It was/appears to be filmed in one go with no edits.
If you have ever been the primary care giver to a relative with dementia/alzheimer’s you will know that moments of clarity are random and cannot be “scheduled”. In addition, as a general rule afternoons/evenings are worse than mornings.
Whatever drug cocktail they are infusing in old Joe – it is remarkable! They can get him to perform on cue in a manner which makes it appear that he knows (more or less) what he is saying – again, this is a remarkable achievement!
Like I said, if you have been around seniors in this stage of life, you will understand. The look on their face is a tell and the look on Joe’s face is the look of dementia/Alzheimer’s.
Mental clarity in people with ‘this look’ can be momentary and unpredictable within a sea of confusion, random thoughts that make no sense at all and/or long periods of ‘blankness’.
Whoever is doing the medication and prep clearly has a more difficult task when Joe must perform in a public venue – a myriad of distractions surround Joe and his ‘performance’ is definitely impacted. Confusion in an unfamiliar place with many distractions is a mental nightmare for these souls.
To be able to keep this production going for the next 5-6 months will be a challenge.
I would expect few if any public speaking events and only the necessary scripted privately recorded messages. Proof of life will be a visual sighting only! At best a word or two – don’t have to make any sense of course. Just proof of life.
I am amazed that they have the meds to keep doing this………it has been 3.5 years of medicating Joe to perform.
I would be interested in the observations of others, who have worked with or been primary care givers to dementia/azheimer’s patients on how they are able to get Joe to perform on cue.
I, for one, am amazed that Joe’s performance is as good as it is!

Glen Campbell was able to perform well after he announced he was suffering from alziemers.
My personal observation of dementia/alzheimer’s is that it starts slowly, where the moments of clarity are longer than the moments of confusion. Over time this reverses and I would assume it is somewhat different for anyone affected.
When you can still recognize and talk about the fact that you have been diagnosed with alzhiemer’s, you are just starting the journey into darkness.
Joe is in darkness, but somehow there is a way to bring him back, for a short time at least, to appear like he knows what is going on.

Musical ability and memory often remain with people who are profoundly affected with dementia. I can’t recall the specifics, but I know I’ve seen video of an elderly woman who could still play some real repertoire on the piano.

I believe it is past time the notion of banning political participation in government elections and decisions.
