Sixteen years ago, the term “manufactured enthusiasm” took on an entire new meaning with the introduction of Teh One, Chicago Jesus, the bringer of all progressive enlightenment, Barack Obama. The intersection of Hollywood and a left-wing political media crowned their golden calf, and the outcome was ridiculous.
Many voices, not enough obviously, were shouting “wait, stop” and various warnings about what would come next. However, those warnings fell on deaf ears and the “fundamental change” was hoisted upon an electorate coping with a housing and financial crisis. The rest, as they say, is history.
Folks, we are about to witness the full 2007/2008 ego-driven madness packed into a short three-month period. The manufactured enthusiasm for Kamala Harris has begun, and the first 48 hours of the marketing blitz are exactly as we should expect.
The next few months are going to be ridiculous at a level beyond The Lightbringer.
Fortunately, a person who was perhaps not paying attention in ’07/’08 will now get to witness something they missed before, and the ears might not be as deaf as they were 16-years ago. We also have the ego of Teh One which might come into play if he feels slighted witnessing a higher level of adulation than he received. We’ll have to wait and see.
What we do know is that preparations have been long-underway to flip the switch for Kamala Harris, and despite her prior failure to launch with operation Jussie Smollett, Hollywood, Big Tech, the UniParty and the entirety of the left-wing political media apparatus are going to funnel all that Biden angst into Kamala worship.

Not in any way to downplay my profound pessimism about this coming election, but I will say THIS IS NOT 2008. Obama rode into office on the winds of a perfect electoral storm. Kamala Harris will not have the same set of winds at her back. She IS the unpopular incumbent. She has a record, and it isn’t good. People are much more aware that something is profoundly wrong with this administration. And unlike the polished, smooth – if vapid – Obama, Kamala Harris is a moron.
There are three factors at play in this election, and the Democrat nominee isn’t one of them. 1: Can Trump stay on message and look presidential? He cannot afford the kind of own goals we saw so much during his administration. 2: What kind of nasty surprise will be unveiled in October against him? Does his team have a plan for this? 3: Are the republicans prepared to deal with ballot fraud on an industrial scale?
We are due for a summer of love situation.
All of this is hypothesis ….. until we learn who the actual Democratic nominees are.

Most of us who lived thru it agree that the Democrat Convention in 1968 guaranteed a Republican victory.
With it being an “open convention” and with Karmella being such a weak, unliked candidate, and the Dem party being a loosely held together confab of groups with grievances, the odds of this Dem Chicago Convention going down the tubes like in ’68 are high.
So, I would say the Convention, which should also definitively designate who the ticket is,…and then ballot fraud.
Two things Teh One had going for him that Kamala does not:
1. He was a complete unknown. A blank slate, no record to speak of, noteworthy for the number of times voting “present” as an Illinois state legislator and rarely showing up to work in the US Senate. America knows Kamala Harris. She has a record. Furthermore she doesn’t have Obama’s charisma. Extremely unlikeable. Expect her to get the Biden treatment, they’ll keep her hidden in the basement. The less voters see of her, the better.
2. Obama ran against one of the worst GOP presidential candidates ever, John McCain. A profoundly stupid politician who attacked his own party and alienated his own voters. A arrogant fool so certain of his inevitable victory (it was HIS TURN) he refused to criticize his black opponent lest he get called a ray-cist. Kamala is running against the most gifted Republican presidential candidate in history whose ruthlessness is unequaled. She isn’t running against a chump like John McCain.
The Democrats are counting on maintaining her honeymoon period with the voters into Election Day. No doubt the reason why Joe hung in there for so long.

You are correct on your two things. That said, I think they are giving her her chance because they feel they have to. However, most of them, certainly Obama, believe she will fail, big time. In two weeks, they will toss her under the bus and go in another direction. The majority of those on her band wagon now, will toss her after a few weeks of her foot in mouth. The Demonic party will thus get three bites at the apple. But the apple is rotten, and they will fail.

TBH at the time Romney could have beat Obama, but he foolishly declined to attack Obama on his unkept promises and failures (polling showed that to be a devastating line of attack that resonated with voters). Furthermore, Romney for some reason thought he was ahead and went into the prevent defense the last few months of the campaign. Then on election day his Get Out The Vote software crashed and burned. It was Romney’s race to lose, and lose it he did.
I now consider the silver lining to Obama’s presidency it saved us from having a President McCain and President Romney. They would have been just as bad. Different, but just as bad.
