He may well be already. You won’t see him in a Kevlar helmet though, which is the only thing that might make a difference on a head shot. No, the providence of the Almighty is the only thing you can rely on with certainty.
My bet is PDJT does wear an advanced version of soft body armor or perhaps segmented ceramic matrix armor, something called dragon skin, where thin scales of ceramic overlap each other and are attached to a underlayment/soft layer that allows freedom of movement but still can stop full caliber rifle rounds.
I believe Stealth Armor has a version of it and there’s a few others as well, serving the civilian market. I picked up some multi-curve RMA level 4 NIJ plates and trauma pad. I’m not concerned about looking good in a suit or complete freedom of movement.
As mentioned by others, yeah it’s kind of hard to hide a ballistic helmet and generally they’re only rated for heavy handgun rounds, though they can stop light rifle rounds sometimes. I have a HHV USA made unit, quite expensive but very comfortable. It does get some looks when I’m out walking or riding my bicycle with it on. I don’t do it out of fear rather on the bike it serves as a crash helmet and walking it serves to get my head/neck used to having a couple extra pounds up there.
If deciding to go that route, do some research. Youtube has some solid analytical reviews of the various gear.
I look at it this way. Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. Things can go sideways fast, as we saw graphically in the field there in Butler, PA.

That roof is not 3/12. A classic 50’s 60’s ranch rambler is 3/12. In my experience as an appraiser and tax assessor that roof is closer to 1/12 but we agree it is not dangerous.

My machine shop was housed in similar clearspan buildings and the 40′ wide one was 16′ in the center and 14′ at the eves so about 1/10. I measured it because I had to fit 13′ high trucks and farm equipment in there through the side rolling doors. The roof is essentially flat with just enough pitch for rain to run off. IMO, based on when I was up there doing maintenance, there’s no cover whatsoever. One the house, with a 3/12 pitch roof, better.

His analysis is sloppy. I analyzed the same audio files myself. There were seven shots fired by a single shooter, not eight, and there is another shot fired by someone else roughly 15 seconds after the first shot is fired.
Peak Prosperity gets confused by shot #6 because the lag between the crack of the bullet and the report of the rifle is markedly shorter than it is for shots 1-5. He thinks this is evidence of a second shooter.
The reason there is a shorter lag between the crack of the bullet and the report of the rifle in shot #6 is because that is the bullet that struck Mr. Comperatore in the head before making its closest approach to the podium microphone. Striking Mr. Comperatore’s head slowed the bullet down and reduced the distance between the bullet and the sound wave of the rifle report.
What Peak Prosperity counts as an 8th shot in the second group of shots is actually an echo. At first, I also mistook it for a shot, and I had to listen to it many times and analyze it quite carefully, but it’s definitely an echo. You have to listen carefully, but there is a distinct difference between the rifle report and the echo. Another thing that makes the analysis tricky is the fact that the person recording the audio is moving and changing the mic’s orientation while the shots are being fired.
Better analysis of the audio of the shooting shows that seven shots were fired by one gunman who was located somewhere between 136 and 145 yards away from the podium mic, and an 8th shot was fired by someone else about 15 seconds after the first shot was fired. This shot was probably taken by one of the counter snipers.

I don’t see any evidence for an additional would-be assassin or assassins, but I am 99.99% sure this attempted assassination was a setup. I just don’t believe for a second that that roof and access to it were left wide open due to incompetence, and I think it is highly unlikely that a lone wolf would just have stumbled across the opportunity left to him by chance like that. It also beggars belief that Crooks could have walked around that site carrying a rifle, a range finder and a backpack in broad daylight without being arrested or at least detained without at least someone on the inside making sure he was allowed to go about his business unmolested.

Anyone who knows how our military operates overseas or any tactical shooter (military sniper) knows they shoot from inside of buildings thru a window (Away from the opening and gun suppressor on all tactical firearms)
The muffled 1st 3 with suppressor came from inside and the following 5 were out in open air and the last kill shot (snap) came from another suppressor firearm.

I think that you are correct about a 2nd shooter, Deguello. That the villains needed a shooter who would be unobserved/hidden, in a better location, perhaps with a better firearm and scope, and who would not miss…these things, plus audio analysis of fired shots that I have heard, point to two shooters.

The first three shots aren’t muffled at all. Using the podium mic audio, you can clearly hear three sonic booms followed by three rifle reports.
…so, after the first three shots in about 1.5 seconds, likely fired by a “pro” thru one of the open windows. After a short pause I hear 3 or 4 more shots in just under one second. “Crack – Thump” sound. All thru open podium mic. Then about a ten second delay and one more “Crack” with no follow up “thump”. Late shot possibly from suppressed weapon and the “kill shot” to Crooks fired by SS sniper set up on roof behind podium and to the right. This last suggested by internet video. Still pic of Crooks dead on roof bloody with no teeth and bullet hole thru back of neck – just my interpretation. Sorry don’t have these links but shouldn’t be too hard to find still.
I am assuming all sound was thru Trump’s still open mic. My Audio / Video equipment is just a laptop and a headset and the sounds I heard were from the original ten plus hour you-tube video. Yes! I saw a photo of Crooks’ head, and there were two approx. 2-inch ‘stripes’ of dried blood across the right side of his face. The stripes looked symetrical and tidy.
I had read that he was shot in the eye. So the photo with the blood stripes does not jive with a shot to either eye socket.

I see President Trump as trying to form a “coalition” to unify disparate groups of people, with Vance more or less representing a sector.
I believe President Trump is wise, and has his eyes wide open as to who people are, and what motivates them. I don’t believe he is naive, but he doesn’t attempt to manipulate people or control them. I don’t know President Trump, but he seems to be a unique individual who accepts reality and people as they are. He allows them to be who they are and make their own mistakes.
That’s why he reads “The Snake” so often.
I see his choice in Vance as an attempt to “unify” different groups of people. Remember President Trump has his own Media and Technology Company (DJT stock, and DJTWW warrants). He is in some ways in competition with these companies; and at the least in the same industry.
As a reminder, he has also reached out to RFK, Jr., as regards to working with him as well, and there are probably a number of others that President Trump has reached out to, that I would not agree with 🙁

I am leaning toward this theory as well. He was a wind up toy. I’d like to know more about his parents though, they were both behavioral counselors, and it’s hard to think they missed signs of him being capable of extreme violence like this.
