President Donald Trump and Vice-President nominee JD Vance hold their first MAGA unification rally together today at 5:00pm ET. The event is being held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the attendance is anticipated to be very big.
This is the first MAGA rally since the attempted assassination of President Trump exactly a week ago in Pennsylvania. This is also the first rally since President Trump announced his 2024 campaign running mate, Senator JD Vance (selected from within team Thiel/Musk). President Trump and JD Vance will appear together. The goal of the Trump campaign is to retain the unification of the republican party as rebranded under the 2024 MAGA banner.

I was looking at 538 presidential polls for Michigan. A Democrat PAC actually conducted a poll of Whitmer vs. Trump and the came up with Whitmer +1. BS! In that same poll, a Harris-Trump match-up has Trump +5.
Polls are propaganda! They are using these to force Biden out.

I’m from Michigan, and I believe it, sadly. This state is done. Not to be a downer, but demographics is destiny. 80% of non-whites (sorry if that sounds racist), 70% of females, and 100% of liberals support Whitmer and think she’s doing a great job. The time to do something was 15 years ago, but it is what it is.
Well hopefully a big pile of blacks and hispanics are done with Democrats and jump that sinking ship. Trump didn’t lose by much in 2020, and we know a big chunk of that loss was due to Democrat fraud.
I read an article somewhere, maybe Daily Mail, that the Dearborn crowd don’t like either candidate, so hopefully they don’t even bother to vote.

At this point in the sales pitch, it is probably not a great idea to talk down Vance because it makes Trump look stupid which makes MAGA weak. Since Trump won in 2016 more and more upcoming politicians, politicians and even business people have been jumping on the Trump Train not because they like Trump but because Trump gives them an edge.

Retired Magistrate here: Tell you what; since so many people on this site do not like J.D. Vance, we here in Ohio will keep him and the selection will then be Burgam, Rubio or Scott. Yes, a lot of people like Dr. Carson, but he is not well and not up to the grueling schedule that a V.P. will have to engage in for the next four months.
Vance has been a real asset for Ohio. When President Trump wins, our governor, DeWine, a real RINO, will probably stick us with former presidential candidate, whose father was a mailman, John Kasich, who is now a commentator for MSNBC. Yes, I can see DeWine doing that. DeWine hates President Trump and so does Kasich. So rather than having a conservative Senator who represents the interests of Ohio, we will get a second Senator who might as well be a Democrat. We are still trying to get rid of Sherrod Brown, a Democrat who has been in the Senate for 17 years and has done nothing for Ohio.
One thing is for sure, it’s a good thing JD won that 2022 election against Tim Ryan. I saw Ryan on a PBS show this morning (which I normally would never watch) and Ryan was disgusting!! Spewing lies all over the place. He is still clearly very butt hurt that he lost that election.
