In March of 1968 Lyndon Johnson withdrew from the presidential race. Johnson’s Great Society and the institution of Medicare and Medicaid created an expansion phase in government that is still going on today. Johnson had done the job he was installed to do. In the 2 months that followed his announcement Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy were assassinated. The powers that be did a lot of political clean up that year.

CrowdStrike’s ties to the DNC and how it pertains to Trump $CRWD
CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity firm, came into the spotlight in connection with Donald Trump primarily due to a conspiracy theory that emerged during his presidency. The theory suggested that CrowdStrike, which was hired by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to investigate the 2016 email hack, had connections to Ukraine and that the DNC server had been taken to Ukraine to hide evidence of wrongdoing. This claim was mentioned by Trump in his controversial July 2019 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which Trump asked for an investigation into CrowdStrike.

BANKS, AIRPORTS, TV stations, health care organizations, hotels, and countless other businesses are all facing widespread IT outages, leaving flights grounded and causing widespread disruption, after Windows machines have displayed errors worldwide.
In the early hours of Friday, companies in Australia running Microsoft’s Windows operating system started reporting devices showing Blue Screens of Death (BSODs). Shortly after, reports of disruptions started flooding in from around the world, including from the UK, India, Germany, the Netherlands, and the US: TV station Sky News went offline, and US airlines United, Delta, and American Airlines issued a “global ground stop” on all flights.
The widespread Windows outages have been linked to a software update from cybersecurity giant CrowdStrike. It is not believed the issues are linked to a malicious cyberattack, cybersecurity officials say, but stem from a misconfigured/corrupted update that CrowdStrike pushed out to its customers.
